The heights of the towers of a ropeway are theoretically derived and the result is experimentally verified. The accuracy in the equation of deflection angle obtained by applying the characteristics of catenary curve was confirmed through experiment. By applying these equations the optimal values of the tower heights could be obtained because the deflection angles trade off each other. The deflection angle was measured by using the curve fitting technique.

Effects of growth conditions on the growth of Zoogloea ramigera and the production of zooglan were investigated. The production of zooglan was greatly reduced in the phosphate-limiting medium. $NH_4Cl$ and ${(NH_4)}_2SO_4$ improved cell growth when they were used as a nitrogen source. The medium containing 45 g/L of glucose and 27 g/L of $NaNO_3$ resulted in the highest production of zooglan at 18.5 g/L.

대부분의 건축가들에게는 규제 및 통제는 난센스라 생각되는 수가 있는데 이는 훌륭하게 설계된 건물이라 할지라도 그 건물을 법적으로 금지할 때가 종종 있기 때문이다. 건축분야에서 가장 진보된 규제 및 통제 방법은 건축기준과 지역ㆍ지구에 관한 규제(Restrictive Building Code & Zoning Ordinances)이다. 이 이외에 상식적으로 생각하더라도 여러 가지 제한을 들 수 있는데, 의뢰자의 취미, 융자조건, 여산, 재산세, 기후 및 대지조건과 기계설비의 제한요소가 있겠다. 우리는 건축 및 도시의 복잡한 미로에서, 우리의 주위 환경 속에서 인간의 목적과 희망을 달성하기 위한 규제들 중 어느 것이 최우선이어야만 되는가에 대한 통찰력을 잃어버렸다. 이런 문제들은 건축가에만 국한되지 않는다. 진정 여기에서 우리는 이 시대의 중요한 사회적, 정치적 문제점-공공권리와 개인권리의 공공책임과 개인책임의, 그리고 개인주도력과 공공주도력과의 한계에 직면하게 된다. 더구나, 이런 분야의 한계는 불명확해지며 더욱더 복잡화되며 다루기 어려워져 가고 있다. 본 장에서는 건축을 규제하는 요소들을 조사하겠다. 그리고 현 통제체제의 정신, 그 근원, 문제점, 단점, 타당성, 그리고 적용에 관하여 논해보기로 한다.

일반적으로 전기강의 특성측정에는 Epstein frame과 Single sheet tester를 이용한 측정법이 사용된다. 그러나 위의 방법은 시료 규격이 매우 제한적이며 Sheet 형태의 시료를 요구하기 때문에 측정이 용이하지 못한 경우가 많다. 이러한 경우를 위한 측정법이 Ring test 측정법으로 시료에 제한이 적기 때문에 그 활용도가 매우 높으며 특히 Bulk 형태의 시료에 대해서는 거의 유일한 측정법이라 하겠다. 본 논문에서는 0.2Hz의 교번자계 여자를 통해 Bulk형 전기강의 특성 측정을 하였으며, 정현파 자속밀도 조건과 정현파 여자 전류 조건에서의 B-H특성과 철손을 측정, 비교하였다.

계통연계형 인버터는 스위칭 주파수로 인한 출력단에 고조파를 함유하고 있기 때문에, 고조파 감소를 위한 수동필터가 필수적으로 필요하다. 이러한 수동 필터는 다양한 용량 및 부하, 넓은 범위의 입 출력 조건등 여러 가지 파라미터를 필요로 하기 때문에 LCL필터는 설계가 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 임피던스 크기, 스위칭 고조파 제한, 기본파 성분에 대한 고조파 제한의 3가지 구속조건에 따른 LCL필터를 설계방법을 제안하며, 이를 실제 시뮬레이션을 통해 계통 연계형 LCL필터로서의 타당성을 검증할 것이다.

최근 대두되고 있는 MPLS 기술은 트래픽 엔진니어링에 적절하다고 알려져 있다. 그러나 MPLS를 기반으로 해서 트래픽 엔지니어링을 이루기 위해서는 특정한 제한 조건을 만족하는 경로는 설정하는 것이 기본적인 사항이다. 이를 위해서는 제한 조건 기반의 라우팅의 도움이 필수적이다. 또한, 명시적인 경로의 설정이 Ingress 라우터에서 이루어져야 한다. 그러나 망의 형상이나 이용 가능한 자원양은 동적으로 변동되는 성질을 갖고 있어서 실제 경로의 계산시 사용한 정보는 실제 경로 계산시의 망의 상태를 정확히 반영하지 못하게 된다. 그러므로 이런 정보를 이용해서 계산된 경로를 따라 LSP 설정 작업이 이루어지는 경우에 LSP 설정 실패 확률이 높아진다. 본 논문에서는 CR-LDP의 메시지들 중 Ingress 라우터로 전달되는 메시지들을 이용해서 LSP 설정 확률을 줄일 수 있는 방법을 기술한다.

In this paper, we derive expressions for the output signal-to-interference plus noise ratio(SINR) of the linearly constrained broadband beamformer in noncoherent situations using a vector approach. The incoming broadband signals are assumed to have flat spectra.

By considering the process and elements of the lighting design of bridges and its piers, it is possible to deduce the principle problems under its contraints and to approach it rationally and systematically. The major problem of this study is to analyze the diverse problems of the lighting design process. Through the lighting process of the arches of the Hangang Grand Bridge and its piers, and of the water-flow under the Chamshil Grand Bridge, the methods to accomplish the goal of lighting will be suggested.

The deformation of a structure shall be called homologous, if a given geometrical relation holds, for a given number of structural points, before, during, and after the deformation. Some researchers have utilized the idea on structural design with finite element method. The approaches use the decomposition of the FEM equation or equality of eqality equations to obtain homologous deformation. However, weight reduction and response constraints such as stress, displacement or natural frequency cannot be considered by those theories. An optimization method solving the above problems is suggested to gain homologous deformation. Homology constraints can be considered under multiple loadindg conditions as well as a single loading condition. Homology index is defined for the multiple loading conditions Examples are solved to present the performances of the method.

To obtain accurate target information in a radar system, clutter or interference signals must first be effectively removed for target detection. In this paper, the signal is projected onto a constrained orthogonal subspace, so that a minimum variance optimal detector is transformed into an unconstrained detector. The proposed algorithm is equivalent to the conventional optimal detector algorithm, and th algorithm structure shows that the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization can be achieved to obtain the fast convergence. The performance of the proposed method was observed by simulation experiments.
