The behavior of combustion-induced internal flow of SRM equipped with fin-slot grain and submerged nozzle is very complex and diverse. Cold air-flow test for 2D and 3D scale models of SRM has been done in order to specify the visualization method to analyze particular internal flow patterns such as roll-torque inducing flow. Swirl flow induced by asymmetric vortical tube also has been visualized through employing various light source and recording directions.

Purpose: The clinical and radiological results of patients with type 3 talar neck fractures treated with the anteromedial approach using medial malleolar osteotomy and large distractor were analyzed retrospectively. Materials and Methods: From March 2009 to August 2016, 12 patients with a type 3 talar neck fracture, who underwent the anteromedial approach using a medial malleolar osteotomy and large distractor and who could be followed-up for more than 12 months after the operation, were examined. The patients were examined for the presence of Hawkins signs by anteroposterior and lateral radiographs and osteonecrosis by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) on the postoperative 3 months. Subsequently, every 3 months, radiographic union was assessed by a simple radiograph and clinical symptoms. Twelve months postoperatively, posttraumatic arthritis was assessed and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) ankle-hindfoot score was analyzed. Results: In 7 cases, osteonecrosis was found on MRI performed 3 months after surgery. On the other hand, at the 12 months follow-up, all of them obtained AOFAS scores of 83.86±4.53 without surgical treatment. Radiographic union was achieved in all cases. The mean union period was 5.3 months. In 10 cases, traumatic arthritis was found after the radiographical and clinical evaluation. In addition, all of them could carry on everyday life by conservative treatment. The AOFAS ankle-hindfoot score was measured to be 85.17 on average. Other complications included superficial wound infection in 2 cases. Conclusion: An anteromedial approach using a medial malleolar osteotomy and a large distractor in the surgical treatment of patients with type 3 talar neck fractures can achieve anatomical reduction of the displaced fragment without a lateral dissection. This is considered to be another good surgical option.

건축물의 밀집화로 인해 화재 확산으로 인한 피해를 막기 위한 연구는 꾸준히 진행되었다. 이에 방화구획이 도입 되었으며 이 중 방화문은 화염과 연기 전파를 차단하는 문의 역할을 한다. 본 연구에서는 목재 방화문에 사용되는 목재의 난연제 처리에 따른 난연 성능을 평가하였다. 실험 결과, $0.7kgf/cm^2$ 진공압력 내에서 30분간의 함침 처리를 통해 난연성능을 확보할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

지난 6.13 지방선거에 총 10명의 인쇄인이 당선됐다. 총 24명이 의회 진출을 시도한 가운데 광역의원 선거에선 6명이 도전해 3명이 당선됐으며, 기초의원선거에선 총 18명이 나서서 7명이 당선의 기쁨을 누렸다. 시, 도의원 당선자는 인천 중구 제1선거구의 안병배(진문사인쇄소.45세), 충남 연기군 제1선거구 유환준(일신인쇄사.56세), 전북 무주군 무주제1선거구 윤완병(현대인쇄광고.46세) 의원등 이다. 구, 시, 군의원 당선자는 서울 도봉구 창제5동 목충균(세로와상사.62세), 서울 송파구 거여제1동 장경선(이레문화사.61세), 부산 중구 중앙동 영주1동 김만택(한일인쇄.58세), 부산 동래구 사직제1동 강신두(영남종합인쇄.48세), 대구 북구 침산3동 김형구(경원인쇄소.60세), 충남 보령 대천1동 임대식(명문당인쇄소.52세), 경북 경주시 동천동 김병태(경주인쇄소.44세) 의원 등이다. 새로이 의회에 발을 들여놓은 이들은 이구동성으로 인쇄업 경영이 선거에서 크나큰 도움이 됐다고 말했다. 당선자 모두는 인쇄업을 직접 경영한 경우였으며, 후보자 가운데는 광역의회와 기초의회 각각 1명씩 2명의 인쇄 현장 근로자들도 있었으나 탈락의 고배를 마셨다. 6.13 지방선거에 출마해 당선돼 인쇄업의 위상을 한층 드높인 대표 당선자 인터뷰와 10명 당선자들의 인적 사항을 정리했다.

In this study, the effect of phosphorus flame retardants on the flame retardancy of the rigid polyurethane foam(PUF) was studied. Tetramethylene bis(orthophos-phorylurea)[TBPU] and Tris(2-chloroethyl) phosphate[TCEP], Tris(2-chloropropyl)phosphate [TCPP], Triethyl phosphate[TEP] were used as flame retardant. It was found that TBPU added PUF exhibits low mean heat release rate(HRR), peak HRR, effective heat of combusion(EHC), mass loss rate (MLR), CO yield and $CO_2$ compared other flame retardants.

Lactic acid is of interested as the raw material of biodegradable polymer. In this study lactic acid was separated by reactive extraction with mixed tertiary amine extractant dissolved in 1-octanol/n-heptane. Mixed tertiary amine extractant was composed of tripropylamine(TPA) and trioctylamine(TOA). The concentration range of lactic acid is ca. 5wt% which is the concentration of lactic acid obtained from fermentation.Maximum distribution coeficient was obtained at 8:2 weight ratio of TPA/TOA and their extraction efficiencies were above 90%.

Solid fuel reacts with an oxidizer during combustion of a propellant to increase performance. Representative solid fuels are aluminum, cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine (RDX) and octahydro-1, 3,5,7-tetra nitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocin (HMX). During combustion, these compounds generate white smoke by reacting with moisture and produce materials that are harmful to the environment, such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and methane gas. This study prepared a high-nitrogen-containing energetic material, hydrazinium 5-aminotetrazolate (HAT), which could be applied as a solid fuel. The compound was characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, and a thermal analysis was measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Also, the specific impulses and volumes of detonation gases were calculated using the EXPLO5 program.

The results of thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) indicate that TBPU added PUF produces more charred residues than the other flame retardant added PUF. It was found that TBPU added PUF exhibits low mean heat release rate (HRR), peak HRR, effective heat of combusion (EHC), mass loss rate (MLR), CO yield and $CO_2$ compared to those other flame retardants.

In order to design and operate successfully the pressure differential system for smoke control which uses difference of pressure between compartments of building, architectural factors affecting the pressure field of building should be examined and the stack effect is one of the important factors. The field experiments on pressure field in two buildings of 21 stories and 31 stories in summer and winter season with regard to on/off condition of the pressure differential system are carried out to evaluate the influence of stack effect to evacuation and smoke management of high-rise building. In winter season when the stack effect increases, as the pressure differential system starts to operate, the pressure in upper stair rises largely due to the combination effect of the air infiltration from lobby to stair and the stack effect.
