The Influence of Self-management Knowledge and Distress on Diabetes Management Self-efficacy in Type 2 Diabetes Patients (제2형 당뇨병 환자의 자기관리지식, 스트레스가 당뇨관리 자기효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was a descriptive research study performed to identify the degree and correlation of variables and also explain the factors that influence self-efficacy of diabetes management. The participants were 150 diabetes patients who visited a primary medical institution in K city in Korea from September 17, 2015, to October 15, 2015. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression with SPSS 18.0. Significant differences in age and education were detected in self-efficacy of diabetes management according to general characteristics. The levels of self-management knowledge and diabetes management self-efficacy were shown to be positively correlated. The levels of diabetes management self-efficacy and distress as well as levels of self-management knowledge and distress were shown to be negatively correlated. The significant factors influencing diabetes management self-efficacy were distress and self-management knowledge. The results suggest that appropriate diabetes management self-efficacy programs should be provided in order to improve self-management knowledge and decrease distress in type 2 diabetes patients. This study provides basic data to promote the effective education and development of arbitration in order to enhance self-efficacy of diabetes management.

  • 가축배설물(家畜排泄物)의 콤포스트화(化) 작업(作業)의 공학적(工學的)인 국면(局面)은 축산(畜産) 경영(經營)의 축산물(畜産物) 생산성(生産性), 에너지 보전(保全), 공해방지(公害防止)와 분뇨처리(糞尿處理)의 노력(勞力) 절약(節約)에 긴밀(緊密)한 관계(關係)가 있다. 그러나 우리나라에 있어서 축산업(畜産業)의 사양(飼養) 규모(規模)와 두수(頭數)는 매년(每年) 증가(增加)하고 있는 경향(傾向)인바 전통적(傳統的)인 가축(家畜) 배설물(排泄物) 처리(處理) 및 재이용(再利用) 과정(科程)에서 발생(發生)되는 문제점(問題點)에 대(對)한 연구(硏究) 자료(資料)가 없고 특(特)히 콤포스트화(化) 작업(作業)이 원시적(原始的)이므로 개선(改善) 확립(確立)이 절실(切實)히 요구(要求)되는 실정(實定)이다. 본(本) 연구(硏究)의 목적(目的)은 가축(家畜) 분뇨(糞尿)의 콤포스트화(化) 작업(作業) 과정(科程)에서 공학적(工學的)인 제(諸) 문제점(問題點)을 조사(調査) 분석(分析)하여 현상(現狀)을 평가(評價)하고 개선(改善) 방안(方案)을 모색(摸索)하기 위한 기본자료(基本資料)를 제공(提供)하고져 수행(遂行)하였다. 이에 관한 조사(調査)와 분석(分析) 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 축산농가(畜産農家)의 가축(家畜) 배설물(排泄物) 처분(處分) 방법(方法)은 대부분(大部分)이 자연건조(自然乾燥), 퇴적(堆積), 혐기적(嫌氣的)인 고형(固形) 또는 액상(液狀) 퇴비화(堆肥化)에 의하여 실시(實施)되고 있었으며 가축분뇨(家畜糞尿)로 인(因)한 공해(公害)는 심각(深刻)하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 2. 호기성(好氣性) 야적(野積) 콤포스트의 통기작업(通氣作業)은 트랙터에 부착(附着)되어진 전후(前後) 작동식(作動式) 로우더가 바람직하다. 3. 농축산(農畜産) 폐기물(廢棄物)의 콤포스트화(化) 작업(作業)은 축산농가(畜産農家)를 중심(中心)으로 한 콤포스트 센타에서 전체 농가(農家)가 지방(地方) 증진(增進)과 오염(汚染) 방지(防止)를 하기 위해 참여(參與)하여 완전(完全) 공동(共同) 이용(利用) 체계에 따라 일관성(一貫性)있게 수행(遂行)되어야 한다. 4. 호기성(好氣性) 야적(野積) 콤포스트 작업(作業)은 다른 방법(方法)에 비하여 운영비(運營費)가 적게 들어 영세적(零細的)인 축산업(畜産業)의 경우(境遇)에 가장 적당(適當)하고 공해(公害)를 방지(防止)함으로서 한국(韓國) 축산농가(畜産農家)의 콤포스트화(化) 시설(施設)로 전망(展望)이 밝다고 판단(判斷)된다.

Studies on the Low-temperature Storage of Strawberry Pulp and Red Pepper Paste by Cryoprotectants (동결방지제에 의한 딸기펄프와 붉은생고추 페이스트의 저온저장에 관한 연구)

  • With adding cryoprotectants to red pepper paste and strawberry pulp, the effects of freezing point depression and the energy requirement for storage at $-15^{\circ}C$ were studied. In case of red pepper paste, the freezing point was pressed to $-9.6^{\circ}C$ by adding NaCl(15% w/w) and citric acid after removing stem. And the components of combined cryoprotectants to keep strawberry pulp in the unforzen state at $-15^{\circ}C$ were dextrose(25% w/'w), fructose(17% w/w) sorbitol(8% w/w) and ascorbic acid(0.2%, w/w). Also, when compared with No-treatment, the storage time reduced about 50% and resulted in about $70{\sim}80%$ cut-down in the energy requirement for storage of food products at low-temperature.

  • Zero waste fashion design to minimize the 15% fabric waste generated during production can be difficult to industrialize instead of having strong originality. This study designed shirts that are practical and reflect trends using the zero waste pattern cutting method and suggest the possibilities for industrial production. The content of the study are as follows. First, the pattern cutting method of zero waste fashion design was studied. Second, the recent trends of shirt design were analyzed and reflected in the design development. Third, 4 zero waste shirt designs were developed and produced by applying the geometric cutting, puzzle cutting, and minimal cutting methods. As for the research method, literature research was conducted on related references; in addition, design development and production were conducted empirically. As a result, the developed zero waste shirts are practical and trendy. In addition, the results of the study are meaningful to provide basic data for the commercialization and industrial application of zero waste fashion design.

Two Unrecorded Species, Globodera hypolysi and Sarisodera hydrophiza (Nematoda: Heteroderidae) from Korea (씨스트선충과 (Nematoda: Heteroderidae)의 한국 2 미기록종 Globodera hypolysi와 Sarisodera hydrophila의 기재)

  • Two unrecorded species of Heteroderinae, Clobodera hypolysi Ogawa, Ohshima and Ichinohe, 1983 and Sarisodera hydrophila Wouts and Sher, 1971 from Korea were firstly reported. The Korean specimens well correspond with the original description of Globodera hypolysi except stylet length of the juveniles, slightly shorter (21~24 vs. 24~25 $\mu$m) and shorter distance from the anus to the fenestra in cyst (22~50 vs. 25~80$\mu$m). The measurements of Korean specimen of Sarisodera hydrophila are slightly short compared with the type species; Female body length 367.2~597.6$\mu$m vs 359~688$\mu$m; Stylet length 37~44$\mu$m vs 38~46$\mu$m; Male body length 662~11987m vs 579~1405$\mu$m; stylet length 37~43.8$\mu$m vs 38~46$\mu$m. Juvnile body length 460~536$\mu$m vs 466~5587m. stylet length 32~387m vs 39~43$\mu$m.

Synthesis of Photoresist Using Environmental-benign Supercritical $CO_2$ Processes (환경친화적인 초임계 이산화 탄소 공정을 이용한 포토레지스트의 합성)

  • The requirement for a much finer line width circuits on semiconductors needs new developers such as supercritical fluid to prevent the collapse of the photoresist micro-patterns. The copolymers contain t-butyl methacrylate having an acid-cleavable t-butyl group and supercritical fluid $CO_2$ soluble perfluorinated decyl methacrylate segments. The supercritical fluid $CO_2$-philic properties of the photoresist changed to supercritical fluid $CO_2$-phobic properties after the deprotection reaction by exposure, which made the exposed resist insoluble in the supercritical fluid $CO_2$ developer. The synthesized copolymers containing more than 30% of perfluorinated decyl methacrylate were found to be soluble in supercritical fluid $CO_2$. The variation of film thickness before and after exposure was largest when the mole ratio of perfluorinated decyl methacrylate in the copolymer was 30%.

Evaluation on Compressive Strength Development and Thermal Conductivity of Cement Pastes Containing Aerogels with Hydrophilic Surface Treatment (친수성 표면개질의 에어로겔을 혼입한 시멘트 페이스트의 압축강도 발현 및 열전도율 평가)

  • The objective of the present study is to examine the feasibility on the development of high-insulation concrete using aerogels with hydrophilic surface treatment. To prevent the segregation and enhance the dispersibility of agerogels in the cement pastes, the substrate of aerogels was modified to be hydrophobic property using surfactant. The modified aerogels were added from 0% to 100% of the cement volume at the interval of 25% under the constant cement content. Some cement pastes showed segregation phenomenon and flocculation of aerogels during mixing phase. The addition of aerogels decreased the compressive strength of cement pastes but enhanced the thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivity of pastes with 100% aerogels was lower by 43% when compared with that measured in the conventional paste. To improve the compressive strength and insulation capacity of concrete containing aerogels, a reliable surface treatment method of aerogels needs to be further investigated.

Suppressing Effects of Ethanol Extract from Dioscoreae Rhizoma on atope Dermatitis (부채마 에탄올 추출물의 아토피 피부염 억제 효과)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of 70% ethanol extract (DR) on the mast cell-mediated allergic contact dermatitis induced by dinitrofluorobenzene in BALB / c mice, which affects the cell activity by antigen in RBL-2H3 mast cells Respectively. The ethanol extracts of RBL-2H3 cells activated by DNP-HSA and anti-DNP IgE antibodies inhibited the secretion of ${\beta}$-hexosaminidase, histamine, and IL-4 and $TNF-{\alpha}$ Production was suppressed. In the DNFB-induced contact allergic dermatitis animal model, treatment with ethanol extract reduced ear swelling and inhibited serum histamine and IL-4 secretion, and DR treatment effectively prevented mast cell infiltration in dermatitis-induced areas. As a result, the ethanol extract may be used as a therapeutic agent for mast cell-mediated allergic diseases such as atopic dermatitis.

  • The main purpose of this study is to develop and empirically validate the research model that examines the relationship between technostress and employees' continuance commitment at their jobs. In addition, the moderating effects of involvement facilitation and technical support provision were examined as enhancing factors on the relationship among the proposed constructs. The data from 179 employees at various organizations were analyzed to test proposed hypotheses. Results show that all proposed hypotheses were supported. This study contributes to IS community in terms of theoretically research framework as well as understanding of technostress at a workplace.

  • Objectives: We evaluated the level of psychosocial stresses and fatigue symptoms among clerical public officers and its related factors.Methods: The self-administered questionaires were performed, during the period between Dec. 5th, 2005 Metropolitan City. The survey items included subjects' socio-demographic and job-related characteristics, health-related behavior, degree of job demand, job autonomy, social support in work, type A behavior pattern, locus of control, sense of self-esteem, psychosocial distress and degree of fatigue.
