Comparison of Clinical Characteristics by Types of Enuresis in Children Utilizing Questionnaires (병력취득 설문지를 이용한 야뇨증의 형태에 따른 임상양상의 비교)

  • Purpose : It is important to take a precise history of patients to diagnose enuresis. However, this is difficult to perform in the outpatient department, because the consultation time is limited. So by taking the medical histories with questionnaires, we classified the enuresis patients into monosymptomatic and non-monosymptomatic groups and compared the clinical characteristics between the two groups in order to determine whether this would aid in the diagnosis and treatment of enuresis. Methods : Thirty-four enuresis patients seen in the Department of Pediatrics at Yeungnam University Hospital from 2004 January to 2005 July were enrolled in this study. Two to three weeks before starting medical treatment, questionnaires about the patients' urination habits and past medical history were taken from the Parents with consents. Results : There were 21 patients in the monosymptomatic group and 13 patients in the non-monosymptomatic group. There was no difference in the delivery mode, birth weight, birth order, sleep habit, constipation, and treatment results between the two groups. Urinary infection was more frequently observed in the non-monosymptomatic group. There was a higher incidence of daytime incontinence and a past medical history of allergy in the non-monosymptomatic group. Oriental medicine was the most common treatment of enuresis before visiting the hospital, but the treatment effect was minimal. Conclusion : Comparison between the monosymptomatic and non-monosymptomatic group with the questionnaires was helpful for detailed diagnosis and treatment of enuresis. A more effective education for enuresis patients is needed, since before visiting the hospital many of them wasted their efforts with ineffective oriental medicine treatment. Experiment on Camera Platform Calibration of a Multi-Looking Camera System using single Non-Metric Camera (비측정용 카메라를 이용한 Multi-Looking 카메라의 플랫폼 캘리브레이션 실험 연구)

  • An aerial multi-looking camera system equips itself with five separate cameras which enables acquiring one vertical image and four oblique images at the same time. This provides diverse information about the site compared to aerial photographs vertically. The geometric relationship of oblique cameras and a vertical camera can be modelled by 6 exterior orientation parameters. Once the relationship between the vertical camera and each oblique camera is determined, the exterior orientation parameters of the oblique images can be calculated by the exterior orientation parameters of the vertical image. In order to examine the exterior orientation of both a vertical camera and each oblique cameras in the multi-looking camera relatively, calibration targets were installed in a lab and 14 images were taken from three image stations by tilting and rotating a non-metric digital camera. The interior orientation parameters of the camera and the exterior orientation parameters of the images were estimated. The exterior orientation parameters of the oblique image with respect to the vertical image were calculated relatively by the exterior orientation parameters of the images and error propagation of the orientation angles and the position of the projection center was examined.

Development and Comparative Analysis of Mapping Quality Prediction Technology Using Orientation Parameters Processed in UAV Software (무인기 소프트웨어에서 처리된 표정요소를 이용한 도화품질 예측기술 개발 및 비교분석)

  • Commercial Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) image processing software products currently used in the industry provides camera calibration information and block bundle adjustment accuracy. However, they provide mapping accuracy achievable out of input UAV images. In this paper, the quality of mapping is calculated by using orientation parameters from UAV image processing software. We apply the orientation parameters to the digital photogrammetric workstation (DPW) for verifying the reliability of the mapping quality calculated. The quality of mapping accuracy was defined as three types of accuracy: Y-parallax, relative model and absolute model accuracy. The Y-parallax is an accuracy capable of determining stereo viewing between stereo pairs. The Relative model accuracy is the relative bundle adjustment accuracy between stereo pairs on the model coordinates system. The absolute model accuracy is the bundle adjustment accuracy on the absolute coordinate system. For the experimental data, we used 723 images of GSD 5 cm obtained from the rotary wing UAV over an urban area and analyzed the accuracy of mapping quality. The quality of the relative model accuracy predicted by the proposed technique and the maximum error observed from the DPW showed precise results with less than 0.11 m. Similarly, the maximum error of the absolute model accuracy predicted by the proposed technique was less than 0.16 m.

  • 국가적 차원에서 물을 사용하고 통제하는 일은 국민의 생활에 큰 영향을 미치기 때문에 지구상의 모든 나라들은 주어진 여건에 맞게 효율적으로 물을 사용하고 홍수와 가뭄으로부터 국민의 생명과 재산을 보호하기 위해 많은 일울 수행하고 있다. 이와 같이 수자원 관리를 위해서 가장 근본적으로 이루어져야 하는 것이 물이 언제, 어디에, 얼마나 있는지를 파악하여 물이 있는 곳과 물이 필요한 곳을 연계하여 최적으로 물을 공급하고 관리하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 다중목적(이수, 치수, 수질) 적용 기법, 기존 관측소 활용 기법, NARI(Network Analysis for Regional Information) 기법, 지형적 최적 기법 등을 이용하여 하천의 최상류 지점에서 하구까지 모든 지점에 대한 신뢰성 있는 유량정보를 실시간으로 파악할 수 있는 유량측정망을 구축하는데 목적이 있다. 다중목적 적용 기법을 위하여, 수질목적으로는 오염총량제 대상지점을 활용 하였으며, 치수목적으로는 5대강 홍수통제소의 홍수예보 프로그램을 활용 하였고, 이수목적으로는 하천수 사용실태를 조사하여 이를 활용 하였다. 기존 관측소 활용 기법은 5대강 홍수통제소, 지자체, 농촌공사, 수자원공사, 환경부에서 운영하고 있는 수위관측소를 통합하여 중복투자에 따른 손실을 최소화 하고, 최적의 장소에 유량측정망을 구축하는 것이다. Edge Response Analysis of UAV-Images Using a Slanted Target (경사 타겟을 이용한 무인항공영상의 경계반응 분석)

  • UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) photogrammetry has recently emerged as a means of obtaining highly precise and rapid spatial information due to its cost-effectiveness and high efficiency. However, current procedures or regulations for quantitative quality verification methods and certification processes for UAV-images are insufficient. In addition, the current verification method for image quality is not evaluated by an MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) analysis or edge response analysis, which can analyze the degree of contrast including image resolution, and only relies on the GSD (Ground Sample Distance) analysis. Therefore, in this study, the edge response analysis using a Slanted edge target was performed along with GSD analysis to confirm the necessity of analyzing edge response analysis in UAV-images quality analysis. Furthermore, a Matlab GUI-based software tool was developed to help streamline the edge response analysis. As a result, we confirmed the need for edge response analysis since the outputs of the edge response analysis from the same GSD had significantly different outcomes. Additionally, we found that the quality of the edge response analysis of UAV-images is proportional to the performance of the camera mounted on the UAV.

  • Today, a digital airborne imaging sensor plays an important role in construction of the numerous National Spatial Data Infrastructure. However, an appropriate quality assesment procedure for the acquired digital images should be preceded to make them useful data with high precision and reliability. A lot of studies therefore have been conducted in attempt to assess quality of digital images at home and abroad. In this regard, many test fields have been already established and operated to calibrate digital photogrammetric airborne imaging systems in Europe and America. These test fields contain not only GCPs(Ground Control Points) to test geometric performance of a digital camera but also various types of targets to evaluate its spatial and radiometric resolution. The purpose of this paper is to present a method to verify the spatial resolution of the Intergraph DMC digital camera and its results based on an experimental field testing. In field test, a simple bar target to be easily identified in image is used to check the spatial resolution. Images, theoretically designed to 12cm GSD(Ground Sample Distance), were used to calculate the actual resolution for all sub-images and virtual images in flight direction as well as in cross flight direction. The results showed that the actual image resolution was about 0.6cm worse than theoretically expected resolution. In addition, the greatest difference of 1.5cm between them was found in the image of block edge.

  • Space debris has been a major issue recently for the space-active nations because its growing population is expected to increase the collision risk with operational satellites. Radar and electro-optical system has been used for space debris surveillance, which may cause unnecessary anti-collision manoeuvers due to their low tracking accuracy. So an additional tracking system is required to improve the predicted orbit accuracy and then to jude the anti-collision maneouvers more efficiently. The laser tracking system has been considered as an alternative to decrease these unnecessary manoeuvers. Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute has been developing a space object laser tracking system which is capable of laser tracking for satellites with retro-reflectors and for space debris using high power laser, and satellite imaging using adaptive optics. In this study, the tracking capability is analyzed for space debris using high power laser based on link budget, false alarm probability and signal detection probability.

Applicability of Image Classification Using Deep Learning in Small Area : Case of Agricultural Lands Using UAV Image (딥러닝을 이용한 소규모 지역의 영상분류 적용성 분석 : UAV 영상을 이용한 농경지를 대상으로)

  • Recently, high-resolution images can be easily acquired using UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), so that it is possible to produce small area observation and spatial information at low cost. In particular, research on the generation of cover maps in crop production areas is being actively conducted for monitoring the agricultural environment. As a result of comparing classification performance by applying RF(Random Forest), SVM(Support Vector Machine) and CNN(Convolutional Neural Network), deep learning classification method has many advantages in image classification. In particular, land cover classification using satellite images has the advantage of accuracy and time of classification using satellite image data set and pre-trained parameters. However, UAV images have different characteristics such as satellite images and spatial resolution, which makes it difficult to apply them. In order to solve this problem, we conducted a study on the application of deep learning algorithms that can be used for analyzing agricultural lands where UAV data sets and small-scale composite cover exist in Korea. In this study, we applied DeepLab V3 +, FC-DenseNet (Fully Convolutional DenseNets) and FRRN-B (Full-Resolution Residual Networks), the semantic image classification of the state-of-art algorithm, to UAV data set. As a result, DeepLab V3 + and FC-DenseNet have an overall accuracy of 97% and a Kappa coefficient of 0.92, which is higher than the conventional classification. The applicability of the cover classification using UAV images of small areas is shown.

  • Acupuncture and moxibustion play an important role not only in the medical service and health care of Korea, China and japan but also in those of many western countries such as Germany, France, United States of America. An unexpected results induced by careless acupuncture and moxibustion treatments may be mild or severe, and are due to practitioner's mistake and particular body condition of a patient. This study was performed to establish a preventive measures against medical accident induced by acupuncture therapy. Total 23 acupuncture points which are included in a J${\bar{l}}$n-Zh${\dot{e}}$n-Xu${\acute{e}}$-G${\dot{e}}$ were selected as prohibited acupuncture points. Although the records in J${\bar{l}}$n-Zh${\dot{e}}$n-Xu${\acute{e}}$-G${\dot{e}}$ are an important data historically which show dangerous acupuncture points, there are few a full investigation on J${\bar{l}}$n-Zh${\dot{e}}$n-Xu${\acute{e}}$-G${\dot{e}}$ up to the present. So present study was done for literature review to understand a feasibility of the records in J${\bar{l}}$n-Zh${\dot{e}}$n-Xu${\acute{e}}$-G${\dot{e}}$ in association with dangerous acupuncture points. Based upon the locations of these acupuncture points, the dangerous region were classified three categories, head, soma and limb. And abnormal signs related to the improperly performed acupuncture treatment on each point were investigated by using historical reference books on acupuncture and moxibustion. And then names, locations, depth of insertion, operation methods and side effects of each point were investigated.

A Study on Home Economics Teachers' Perception in Free Learning Semester (자유학기제 운영에 대한 가정과 교사의 인식 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the perception and understanding of Free Learning Semester (FLS) in home economics teachers and to provide basic informations for effective implement of FLS in future school curricula. Home economics teachers perceived that the objective of FLS was to help students explore their careers and make preliminary decisions. In addition, teachers thought that FLS should be run by active students' participation to find out their dreams and talents. However, teachers felt difficulties in obtaining information or documents related to implementing FLS. Moreover, there were lack of connected activities with local communities to operate FLS. Teachers recognized that it is necessary to receive FLS-related education. Regarding home economics teachers' role in FLS implement, they should provide career education with a perspective of lifelong career and nurture students' capability to lead their lives by themselves. In that sense, FLS should help students find out their dreams and talents, think about their career, set up lifelong career plan through home economics education, and nurture capability to lead their lives. In addition, home economics teachers should provide continuous career education in home economics education at academic semesters.
