Recent heterogeneous network management researches on information security, however, deal only with simple management using PKI and could not sufficiently address the different kinds of security problems that could arise in a heterogeneous network. Thus, various security requirements should first be satisfied and a security management protocol should first be developed to achieve a secure heterogeneous network. Hence, in this paper, various secure and effective heterogeneous network management that address security issues, which were merely a consideration in existing studies, are proposed. The proposed scheme for the protection of the user privacy is the central object and static middle objects of the process used to mutual authentication, also if communication between users is required 1-out-2 oblivious transfer to communicate by using secret communication, as well as the effectiveness and security conscious approach. Specially The proposed scheme is designed to enhance security and efficiency related to various services required in heterogeneous network, based on the reliable peripheral devices for TTP. Using Mobile device, which has been applied to electronic commerce transactions in existing schemes, this study also proposed an appropriate management scheme that is suitable for a dynamic environment and setting a temporary group to provide various services.

IMT-2000 서비스는 셀룰러나 PCS에서 대역폭 제한으로 제공이 불가능한 멀티미디어 서비스를 전세계 어디서나 제공받을 수 있도록 하는 차세대 이동통신 서비스이다. 본 논문은 IMT-2000 교환기에서의 BSC간 핸드오프 설계를 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 IMT-2000 망 구조를 소개하고 IMT-2000 에서의 핸드오프 프로토콜, 핸드오프 주체, 핸드오프 형태를 살펴본다 또한, IS-634 기반의 BSC간 핸드오프 절차, IMT-2000 교환기의 시스템 및 소프트웨어 구조, 핸드오프시의 통화 경로를 기술한다. 그리고 IS-634 기반의 핸드오프 절차를 만족하는 IMT-2000 교환기 내부 소프트웨어 블록간의 호 흐름을 설계한다.

최근 비연결지향형(Connectionless)의 IP 상에 연결지향형(Connection-oriented)의 LSP 를 지원하는 MPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching) 서비스에 대한 관심이 증가되고 있다. 이는 트래픽 엔지니어링(TE: Traffic Engineering)과 Qos(Quality of Service) 제공 등의 향상된 서비스에 대한 요구사항이 증가하면서, 이에 적합한 차세대 인터넷 서비스의 효율적인 제공 방안으로 IETF 에서 표준화하고 있는 MPLS 기술이 대두되고 있기 때문이다. 이러한 사용자의 요구사항을 만족하기 위하여 한국전자통신 연구원에서는 ACE2000 MPLS 시스템을 개발했으며, 초고속망에 적용되는 MPLS 시스템을 관리하기 위한 관리 시스템을 개발하였다. 본 논문에서는 SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) 기반의 MPLS 망 관리 시스템과 트래픽 엔지니어링 관리 기능을 중심으로 관리 대상, 관리 수행 절차 등을 설명한다.

Recently, the military of Korea has been establishing the next generation wireless tactical communication system so called Tactical Information Communication Network (TICN). A routing protocol for TICN transport networks has to be able to select a path with high survivality, reliability, and stability while accommodating as many flows as possible with minimum QoS guarantees. The OSPF(Open Short Path First) used widely is determined to be the routing protocol for TICN. With the typical deployment practices OSPF, however, it cannot satisfy the requirements of TICN. In this paper, we propose a cost function for OSPF and a way to tune the OSPF protocol parameters for the TICN transport networks. Through simulations, it is shown that the OSPF with the proposed cost function provides better performance than the OSPF in terms of both the services provided to the applications and the network resources utilization.

An integrated medical information system that integrates systems consisting of different environments centered on hospital information systems should be provided as a system that prioritizes the improvement of the quality of medical services, customer satisfaction, and patient safety. The RBAC-based medical information system is granted the access right according to task type, role, and rules. Through this, it is possible to use SMS channel, medical reservation and cancellation, customized statistics, and CRM / EMR interworking service using multi-channel to enable communication service without help of counselor and reduce the default rate of reservation patient, Operational improvement services can be extended to medical staff, patients and their families, as well as expanding to important decisions for patients.

The opening of High-speed Rail provides convenience to move a long distance quickly, and the passengers of high-speed railway have been steadily increasing each year. Since the high-speed rail is far more expensive than other transportation, providing high quality service over just the high speed is required. Accordingly, much effort is made to improve service quality. However these services have been focused on general passengers so we should introduce a new service system to meet personal preferences of passengers. Therefore, in this paper, we introduce integrated railway service systems to provide service which follows the individual needs of passengers and is based on RFIDs (Radio Frequency Identification).

최근, 현대인들은 뛰어난 성능과 품질을 넘어서 자신의 감성을 만족시켜주는 제품, 서비스를 원하고 있다. 감성 Information & Communication Technology(ICT)는 정보 통신 기술을 기반으로 인간의 감성을 자동 인지하고 사용자의 감성과 상황정보를 처리하여 상황에 맞게 적용하는 기술을 말한다. 즉, 인간의 감성을 센싱해 이를 데이터화하고 다양한 IT 기기에 활용하는 것을 말한다. 미래에 다가올 감성 ICT 기술은 단순히 사용자의 감성을 자극하는 정도를 뛰어넘어 사용자와 기기가 서로 교감하는 형태로 나아갈 것이다. 본 논문에서는 감성 ICT 의 기술 동향을 분석하고 향후 방향성을 모색 하고자 한다.

In this paper, we define the secure authentication model to provide a mobile node with global roaming service and integrate the Fast Handoff scheme with our approach to minimize the service latency. By starting the AAA(Authentication, Authorization and Account) procedure with Fast Handoff simultaneously when a roaming occurs, authentication latency is reduced significantly and provision of fast and seamless service is possible. The previous works such as IPsec(Internet Protocol Security), RR (Return Routability) and AAA define the procedures performed after the completion of Layer2 Handoff which leads us to study a way of providing the real time and QoS guaranteed service during this period. The proposed scheme is for this goal and when appling it to roaming environment it shows the cost reduction up to 55% and 17% for the case of the MN receiving the FBACK and not respectively before L2 Handoff occurs.

In this paper, we propose multiple IS-MMBS service schemes for very low power and micro-size RMIMS (radio-interfaced micro information monitoring system) terminals. In MMBS service area, when new arrival RMIMS terminals have real-time traffic characteristic or large traffic bandwidth, only single IS-MMBS service scheme can not guarantee RMIMS terminal's QoS(quality of service) such as buffer overflow or packet loss. In this case, the proposed multiple IS-MMBS service schemes can be effectively used for QoS service of RMIMS terminal. According to clustering method of RMIMS terminals and MMBS segment method, the proposed schemes can be divided into terminal segment method, region segment method, application based segment method, traffic type based segment method, overlapping segment method and hybrid segment method

Public libraries have been facing new challenges as the number of channels providing information resources has been increasing due to information and communication technology development. The perception of public libraries of the general public is that they should continue to play a substantial role in information services. However, the libraries' environments are changing, and the public's needs are diversifying, so public libraries also need to differentiate themselves from other organizations that provide similar services. This paper proposes branding as a solution to create differentiation. The study conducted a questionnaire survey with Koreans in their 20s. A series of statistical tests with the survey data showed the impact of the brand association elements on customer satisfaction and brand loyalty and identified unique factors in public libraries. For example, Brand associations such as material-based services, benefits, and attitude affected both dependent variables. On the other hand, the non-product association such as space/place images did not. Based on these findings, we provided implications for introducing branding in public libraries.
