Development and Evaluation of UX Design Centered STEAM Career Education Program Utilizing Personas Models (페르소나 모델을 통한 UX 디자인 STEAM 활용 진로교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과분석)

  • The purpose of this paper is to give the opportunity to explore the career in UX(User Experience) designer and presents how to teach for UX design that is stressed in IT industry recently. We develop the textbook which is for 3 class periods for STEAM career exploration of UX designer for K-3 and K-4 students considering their students' intellectual level, prior knowledge and interests. We will offer this program to K-3 and K-4 students, soon. It will be expected that students can accept the knowledge about UX design and explore the career for UX designer.

  • 초등학교에서 재량활동인 컴퓨터 교재의 내용은 ICT 소양교육을 중점으로 기능 교육(한글, 파워포인트, 윈도우, 통신 등)에 대한 내용이 대부분을 차지하고 있다. 특히 초등학생들은 이미 생활에서 쉽게 접하는 정보화 시스템에 익숙하여 컴퓨터를 다루는 기능은 교재의 수준을 상당히 갖추고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 현재 초등학교에서 사용하고 있는 초등컴퓨터 재량활동 교재의 내용에 변화가 필요함을 나타내기 위하여, 부산광역시교육청의 초등컴퓨터 재량활동 교재인 '즐거운 컴퓨터'의 내용과 부산광역시 4, 5, 6학년 초등학생들의 ICT 활용기능을 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과를 통하여 초등학생의 ICT 기술능력이 컴퓨터 교재의 내용을 앞서고 있음을 보이고 향후 교재내용의 변화가 있어야함을 보인다

  • 미래 변화에 대응하는 역량으로 디지털 리터러시가 제시되고 있다. 국내에서는 2022 교육과정 개정의 중점 사항으로 미래 변화에 대응하는 역량으로 디지털 기초 소양을 강화한다. 한편 코로나19로 원격수업이 확대되면서 LMS(Learning Management System)의 사용이 증가하였다. LMS는 디지털 기기, 소프트웨어를 활용하므로 디지털 리터러시를 함양할 수 있는 기회가 될 것이다. 본 연구에서는 학교 현장에서 활용되는 Microsoft의 Teams, Google의 Classroom, KERIS의 위두랑과 e학습터를 비교하고 디지털 리터러시 내용 요소와 LMS 기능을 관련지어 활용방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 LMS를 활용하면서 디지털 리터러시를 기를 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Development of K-12 Digital Culture Curriculum for AI Edcuation (AI교육을 위한 초등 디지털 문화 교육과정 개발)

  • The digital culture area is a field of artificial intelligence education and partially overlaps with information ethics, and this study proposed an elementary school-centered digital culture curriculum, a detailed area of artificial intelligence education. First, as a leading overseas case in the field of digital culture, we analyzed the secure online interaction, which is the core content of the K12CS framework in the United States and the UK's computing curriculum. We presented by categorizing it into four digital areas: content, communication method, copyright, and job exploration in accordance with the domestic educational environment and field conditions. In addition, educational goals were stated according to the level of kindergarten and elementary school, and the validity of a group of field teachers majoring in in information and artificial intelligence was investigated to confirm the validity. As a result of the analysis, it was found that all the contents set were suitable except for some of the detailed goals of the first grade elementary school stages. Accordingly, a digital culture curriculum for artificial intelligence education was presented by revising and supplementing the detailed goals of the first graders.

  • Recent developments and integration of IT are expanding the possibility of various instructional learning methods in education environments. Contemporary learning theory such as open education, self-directed learning, student's centered learning describes the students as an active and engaged information user and underscores the importance of information literacy. Therefore, school library today focus on the process of learning-teaching process rather than dissemination information, and emphasized the focus of the school electronic library as information center. The purpose of this study is examined physical components of School Electronic Library, design a model of information system and suggests a strategy for implementing teaching-learning process support services based on school electronic library and information system.

  • 정보소양의 기본이라고 할 수 있는 워드프로세서 기능은 학생들이 갖추어야할 필수요소가 되고 있다. 그러나, 워드프로세서학습의 교수-학습방법에 대한 연구가 미흡하고 학습에 활용할 수 있는 자원이 많지 않아 워드프로세서학습을 위한 학습자원에 대한 요구가 늘고 있다 본 연구에서는 학교 현장에서의 워드프로세서 학습을 지원하기 위한 웹기반 워드프로세서 학습 지원 시스템을 개발하였다. 학생들에게 필요한 워드프로세서의 학습요소를 분석하고, 학생 스스로 수준에 알맞은 학습과제를 선택하여 학습하도록 하였으며, 과제를 해결하기 위한 기능을 알기 쉽게 익힐 수 있게 하는데 중점을 두었다. 또한 교사 및 동료와의 상호작용을 통하여 자신의 기능을 향상시키고 학습결과를 피드백하여 활용할 수 있도록 하였다.

Development of Convergence Education Program for 'Understanding of Molecular Structure' using Machine Learning Educational Platform (머신러닝 교육 플랫폼 활용 '분자 구조의 이해'를 위한 융합교육 프로그램 개발)

  • In this study, an educational program was developed so that artificial intelligence could be used as a transdisciplinary convergence education with other disciplines. The main educational content is designed for 8 hours using machine learning to help students understand the molecular structure dealt with in high school chemistry. The program developed in this study calculated the I-CVI (Item Content Validity Index) value through expert review, and as a result, none of the items were rejected with a score of .80 or higher. Because the program of this study combines the content elements of the chemistry subject and the information (artificial intelligence) subject academically, it is expected that the learner will be able to increase the convergence talent literacy. In addition, since it is not required to secure a additional number of hours for this educational program, the burden on teachers may be low.

Study of Effect of Information Representation Learning in Middle-School with Play Activities Materials on the Learning Achievement (놀이 활동 교육 자료를 활용한 중학교 정보 표현 학습이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향)

  • As the contents of information were reinforced the rules of computer science, it was necessary to develop the new teaching and learning plans and various education materials that encourage students and easy to access. So, in this study developed a wide ran of play activities and educational materials without using a computer for the area of information representation and applied to 68 students, second grade of middle school for 4 weeks. After the class, the effect on the learning achievement was verified by the t-test. As a result, it was shown that there was a significant difference between learning with play activities materials and the traditional lecture-type. It means that learning with play activities materials in the information representation influences a positive effect to the learning achievement.

A Study on Correlation Analysis of Information Subject and Convergence Subject for the Gifted Children in IT (정보영재의 정보과목과 융합과목의 상관관계 분석연구)

  • In the knowledge-based society, IT literacy and application of a person become a measure of personal competitiveness. As IT industry is of great important nationally, many countries are trying to make an effort to promote IT industry. In this sense, identification and fostering of the gifted children in IT become an important national task since, in IT industry, usually only a few prodigies have led whole IT industry. Currently gifted education aims for convergent gifted education according to government policy. The purpose of this paper is to investigate correlation of information subject and convergent subject for the gifted children in IT. For this purpose, the gifted children in IT who attended a gifted science education center attached to a university at Seoul Metropolitan Area are selected. Their grades during their the period of attendance are collected and analysed. The statistical results show that there is a meaningful correlation between information subject and convergent subject for the gifted children in IT. It means that the higher scores information subject is, the higher scores convergent subject is. The results can be used to make or change gifted curriculum and education contents for gifted IT education.
