Development of Kill Chain Based Effective Maritime Operations Model for Naval Task Forces (Kill Chain 기반 해상기동부대의 효과적인 해상작전 모델 제안)

  • Navy establishes the Naval Task Forces (TF) for many kinds of maritime operations. Then the TF in the maritime environment performs simultaneous component operations such as ASUW (Anti-Surface Warfare), ASW (Anti-Submarine Warfare), AAW (Anti-Aircraft Warfare), and assault operations. The TF consists of many tactical systems for the completion of missions C4I, VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol), DMHS (Digital Massage Handling System), and TDLs (Tactical Data Links) such as LINK-11, 16, ISDL (Inter Site Data Link). When the TF executes naval operations to complete a mission, we are interested in the kill chain for the maritime operations in the TF. The kill chain is a standard procedure for the naval operations to crush enemy defenses. Although each ship has a procedure about a manual for 'how to fight', it leave something to be desired for the TF detailed kill chain currently. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the naval TF's kill chain to perform the naval operations. Then, the operational effectiveness of the TF in the kill chain environment is determined through operation scenarios of TDL system implementation. It is to see the operational information sharing effect to a data link model based on MND-AF OV 6c (statement of tracking operational status) in the maritime operations applied to TDL and is to identify improvements in information dissemination process. We made the kill chain of maritime TF for the effective naval operations.

  • Various business model and computing environments are currently merged into web services and many web related application products are also develop. Most of IT enterprises in Korea use the Service-oriented architecture (SOA) whenever they develop the web applications. SOA is an approach to loosely coupled, protocol independent, standards-based distributed computing where software resources available on the network are considered as Services. SOA is believed to become the future enterprise technology solution that promises the agility and flexibility the business users have been looking for by leveraging the integration process through composition of the services spanning multiple enterprises. But, There are no specific development methodology to apply into SOA standard model until now. The developer uses the currently existing methodology to develop the application with SOA. The users have some limitations to use it. In this paper, we suggest a Frameworks for applying agile methodology into SOA to address the productivity and quality of small web related project. We design and implement a frameworks architecture for applying the agile method into SOA and describe the process model to implement it. We finally evaluate the frameworks with productivity, flexibility and maintainability.

  • Wireless internet is embossed the new keyword of IT technology in the world lately. The wireless internet is the architecture, technology and service to be can taken data communication and internet service using wireless device through connecting internet in the wireless environment. These wireless internet technology is extends the scope of using information with the existing wire internet technology. But, It is necessary to be extend supply of quantitative and qualitative for using wireless internet technology efficiently. For these matters, it is efficient to reuse good qualify contents that is serviced on wire environments. Then, in this paper, design and implement the technique of creating con-tents that is made by the method of compounding parts based on the contents automatic reuse technology over the concept of creating new wireless contents.

  • IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force)는 신속하고 안전한 이동성 서비스를 위하여 네트워크 자원의 사용을 안전하게 하고 법적으로 보장하는 핵심기술 같은 많은 의미있는 작업들을 해오고 있으며 기존의 MIPv6(Mobile IPv6)에서 핸드오버 지연과 시그널링 오버헤드 같은 문제를 보완하기 위하여 HMIPv6(Hierarchical Mobile IPv6)를 제안하였다. 현재 HMIPv6에 관한 연구의 대부분은 HMIPv6와 AAA(Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) 프로토콜 사이의 상호작용 절차를 최적화하기 위한 방법에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 해당 논문에서는 AAA 절차에서 인증대기를 최소화하는데 중점을 둔 비용효율적인 계층 인증 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법에서는 MAP(Mobility Anchor Point)에 배포되어진 AAA 서버들, 그리고 홈 도메인 안에 있는 AAA 서버를 대신하는 브로커들의 계층적 AAA 아키텍처를 제안한다. 이 시뮬레이션 결과는 제안된 기법이 이전의 전통적인 인증 조합 모델링과 비교하여 핸드오프 지연과 인증대기 시간이 상당히 줄어들었음을 보여준다.

  • Advances in web technology have enabled technical convergence in various system environments to be carried out through the web interface. The Web can be categorized from the Web 1.0 to the 4.0, depending on its role, it has the characteristics of connects information, connects people, connects knowledge, and connects intelligence. In addition, various technological needs occurred through the mobile app during the 4th Industrial Revolution, and functions such as 3D, virtual reality, augmented reality, video/audio processing were enabled on the web, which was a simple means of providing information. Technical standards have been studied to support these period needs. In this paper, I would like to mention one of the Web assembly. We will explore ways to link and fuse Web assembly with existing web systems (or platforms) and analyze their technical implications through a variety of examples. In addition, we will conduct a study on the architecture that can fuse the existing javascript with the web assembly, and discuss the future direction of the study.

  • The damage caused by information spill, forgery, falsification, and deletion by cyber infringement in educational institutions and universities is very large. In this study, we analyzed the types, causes, and problems of cyber infringement in educational administrative institutions and universities. As a result, administrative, physical and technical information protection activities were weak. In this paper, we propose a security enhancement method for each domain by dividing them into Internet zone, network-neutral zone (DMZ: Demilitarized Zone), general server zone, internal server zone (Server Farm), and user zone so that these vulnerabilities can be easily identified, supplemented or security enhanced. In addition, we have proposed a method to apply security information system architecture and information protection technology correctly for educational administration institutions and universities. This study is meaningful not to provide conceptual guidance but to suggest specific action and procedure oriented security management plan.

  • A rapid growth of IT convergence into different application areas draws a lot of interest in high performance platform and embedded system. Industry needs well educated computer professionals with the practical understanding on the emerging technologies and core issues of contemporary popular services. In this paper, we present an education framework for computer system architecture based on rigorous analyses of the characteristics of IT convergence services and information technology trends. The proposed framework puts emphasis on real-world and hands-on subjects related to multicore architecture, embedded system and parallel processing. We believe effective use in the development and management of computer system architecture courses encouraging both industries and students.

  • Supercomputers have played an important role in various fields such as science, industry, national security and solutions for social issues, and their demand is increasing significantly as their use is strengthened in areas using big data and AI. Recently, competition for global exascale system development is accelerating based on various architectures, and the era of exascale computing is expected to come in the near future. However, the foundation of the domestic supercomputing ecosystem was lost due to the decline of the server industry in the past, and although the related law was enacted to supplement and foster it, it has not been able to perform its function smoothly. Therefore, this article examines the problems in the current legal system through the analysis of the relevant legal system and the status of the supercomputing ecosystem, and suggests improvements so that the relevant legal system, which can accommodate the reinforcement of the role of the government·national center·professional center, support for industries, promotion of commercialization of research results, and flexibility of government promotion policies, can prepare the basis for the promotion of the supercomputing R&D project.

  • This paper presents a core meta-tag of OpenURL written in Key/Encoded-Value format in the field of observation research, to distribute the scientific data, produced in many experimentations and observations, on the OpenURL service architecture. So far, the OpenURL hasn't supplied a meta-tag represented scientific data because it has focused on circulation of scholarly and technological information extracted from thesis, proceedings, journals, literatures, etc. The DataCite consortium metadata were analyzed and compared with the Dublin Core metadata, OECD metadata, and Directory Interchange Format metadata to develop a core meta-tag in observation research.

  • This paper describes main characteristics of Grid Services based on OGSA and a service component for aggregating service data element. In order to build a Grid Service for SOA, it needs to consider a systematic approach from the high-level software architecture of a system that describes the main system components and their interactions. The purpose of this paper is to design and implement an extended service data aggregator service. To provide reliable aggregating service for service data elements, which is running under wide area environment like Internet, the aggregator service is operated asynchronously by notification mechanism.
