Ability to find some information is the basic ability in information making activity. Even though students have been instructed how to search information, however, they don't reach a certain level. For improving ability to make information, it needs to be connected to Korean and Social education. Therefore, this paper analyzes the contents of related-subjects to internal and external curriculum of computer education, and develops the program to improve ability to make information, selecting learning point for improving ability to make information.

In the advanced information age, learning is an activity in which learners access information resources through computers and Internet to acquire and evaluate information on their own. The emergence of an online learning platform based on the fourth industrial revolution technology is developing into an environment in which elementary and secondary learners learn and study based on constructivism learning theory. In the online learning environment, the researches on the information retrieval ability of the elementary and secondary learners and the self-directed learning ability were found to be highly related. However, it is necessary to analyze the relation between information retrieval ability and self-directed learning ability through a cross-sectional study that is limited to specific curriculum and contents and expands the longitudinal research. In this study, the panel data of the Seoul Education Longitudinal Study collected over 8 years are used to find the difference in self-directed learning ability according to the longitudinal pattern of information retrieval ability and frequency.

This study investigated whether academic library user education contributes to promote users' information literacy. 39 students of Duksung Women's University participated voluntarily for this experiment. A test questions set about locating specific library materials was delivered to participating students, who were to find right answers for each test question. Their answers about test questions were measured in terms of success rate, time used to solve each problem. Self evaluation scores were also collected before and after giving them user education. Academic library user education significantly contributed participating students' ability to locate academic library materials through a library user interface. After receiving user education students were able to solve more successfully test questions, use less time for each question, and evaluate themselves more highly in terms of information utilizing ability. The effectiveness of the academic library user education was lasted for about 8 weeks after the education they received.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of learning methods on students' information retrieval and information synthesis capability in web. This is an experimental study comparing the two different learning methods as task-based learning and technic-based learning. The findings of this study were as follows: 1. The task-based learning was more effective than the technic-based learning in information achievements as information retrieval capability (t= 3.59, p〈.05). 2. In the 1st retrieval (recall ratio t=1.81 precision ratio t=.61) of Naver Korean Web Retrieval, there was no significant difference (p〉.05). In the 2nd retrieval (recall ratio t=2.93 precision ratio t=2.45) and 3rd retrieval (recall ratio t=3.48 precision ratio t= 2.50), the task-based group was more effective than the technic-based group (p〈.05). 3. There was no significant difference in students' information synthesis capability between the task-based learning and technic-based learning (t= 1.95, p〉.05). The findings of this study suggest that the task-based learning approach is more effective to improve students' information literacy, and that professionals should consider better instructional principles for the improvement of instructional quality.

정보화 시대에 방대한 양의 정보에서 필요한 정보를 효율적으로 찾아내는 것은 그 무엇보다도 중요하다. 이를 위해 많은 검색 엔진이 효율적인 검색 결과 제공을 위해 노력하고 있지만 그 인터페이스의 문제로 인하여 사용자가 검색결과를 효율적으로 받아들이기 어려우며 또한 원하는 정보를 검색하기 위해서는 일정 수준 이상의 검색 능력을 필요로 한다. 이 논문에서는 기존의 검색 엔진의 인터페이스 변경을 통하여 시각적인 연관성 정보를 제공하며 이를 통해 사용자가 검색 능력에 구애받지 않고 정확한 답을 얻을 수 있도록 유도한다. 또한 이 과정에서 기존의 키워드 추출 알고리즘의 문제점을 발견하여 이를 단어간의 수식 관계를 이용하여 해결하였다. 또한 단어간의 수식 관계를 이용하여 효율적으로 문서간의 연관성을 생성할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제시하였다.

정보의 중요성이 날로 부각되고 인터넷 사용인구가 급격히 증가함에 따라 국내에서도 정보검색에 대한 관심이 크게 높아지고 있다. 여기에 PC의 보급이 일반화되어 사무실이나 가정에서 쉽게 온라인에 접속하여 정보검색을 할 수 있게 됨에 따라 정보검색이 일부 전문가들의 영역을 벗어나 일반인들 사이로 확산되고 있다. 이제는 정보검색을 전문적인 기능으로 국가에서 관리하는 방안을 검토할 때이다. 전문 검색인의 발굴 및 평가 체제를 일본의 사례를 통해 알아보자.

The popularization of the Internet brought about easy access to a huge amount of information, yet it is hardly easy for one to find information in need. Therefore, information users must have information retrieval abilities to gather, analyze and utilize data in efficient ways. In general the information retrieval strategies of each user are all different, and consequently the retrieved result also significantly varies from one to another. This paper describes an experimental study on information retrieval behaviors in elementary students, and analyzes the variation in retrieval strategies and results by examining cognitive patterns based on their personal characteristics, specifically their cognitive patterns. As a research result we propose a set of education requirements which can improve students' information retrieval abilities and the efficiency of the information retrieval system.

검색 증강형 언어 모델은 입력과 연관된 문서들을 검색하고 텍스트 생성 과정에 통합하여 언어 모델의 생성 능력을 강화한다. 본 논문에서는 사전 학습된 대규모 언어 모델의 추가적인 학습 없이 In-Context 검색 증강으로 한국어 언어 모델의 생성 능력을 강화하고 기존 언어 모델 대비 성능이 증가함을 보인다. 특히 다양한 크기의 사전 학습된 언어 모델을 활용하여 검색 증강 결과를 보여 모든 규모의 사전 학습 모델에서 Perplexity가 크게 개선된 결과를 확인하였다. 또한 오픈 도메인 질의응답(Open-Domain Question Answering) 과업에서도 EM-19, F1-27.8 향상된 결과를 보여 In-Context 검색 증강형 언어 모델의 성능을 입증한다.

본 논문에서는 대규모 언어모델의 검색 기반 답변 생성능력을 평가하는 새로운 한국어 벤치마크, KFREB(Korean Fictional Retrieval Evaluation Benchmark)를 제안한다. KFREB는 모델이 사전학습 되지 않은 허구의 정보를 바탕으로 검색 기반 답변 생성 능력을 평가함으로써, 기존의 대규모 언어모델이 사전학습에서 보았던 사실을 반영하여 생성하는 답변이 실제 검색 기반 답변 시스템에서의 능력을 제대로 평가할 수 없다는 문제를 해결하고자 한다. 제안된 KFREB는 검색기반 대규모 언어모델의 실제 서비스 케이스를 고려하여 장문 문서, 두 개의 정답을 포함한 골드 문서, 한 개의 골드 문서와 유사 방해 문서 키워드 유무, 그리고 문서 간 상호 참조를 요구하는 상호참조 멀티홉 리즈닝 경우 등에 대한 평가 케이스를 제공하며, 이를 통해 대규모 언어모델의 적절한 선택과 실제 서비스 활용에 대한 인사이트를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
