The Role of Accrual Information in Valuation (기업가치평가에 있어서 발생액 정보의 역할)

  • This study examines the association between valuation and accrual information. According to accounting based valuation model, firm's value consists of net book value and abnormal earnings. Net book value and abnormal earnings are determined as the manager's accounting policy. Discretionary accruals may signal the manager's value expectation or be noisy factor of accounting variables. The results of this study are as follows; First discretionary accruals are associated to stock prices negatively but non-discretionary accruals are not to stock prices. This result suggests that discretionary accruals and non-discretionary accruals are the differential factors of the firm value. Second, the product term of discretionary accrual and net book value are associated to the stock price negatively but the product term of non-discretionary accrual and net book value are not associated to the stock price. the results indicate that discretionary accruals are noisy factors of net book value information. Third, the product term of discretionary accrual and net income are associated to the stock price negatively and the product tenn of non-discretionary accrual and net income are also associated to the stock price negatively, the results suggest that discretionary accruals are noisy factors of earnings.

  • 가스하이드레이트의 국내 부존 가능성이 확인됨에 따라 가스하이드레이트 개발기술 및 부존 정보의 확보를 위한 가스하이드레이트 연구개발사업이 추진 중에 있다. 가스하이드레이트 개발사업과 같은 국가주도 연구개발사업의 경우 사업의 타당성 확보와 효율적인 추진을 위해서 사업 및 개발기술의 가치를 객관적으로 평가해야 할 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 가스하이드레이트 개발사업의 가치평가를 위한 주요 속성들을 결정하고 속성별 쌍대비교를 통해 중요도를 도출 할 수 있는 Fuzzy AHP 방법론을 사용하여 상대적 가중치를 도출하였다 연구 결과 가스하이드레이트 개발사업 및 기술의 가치는 상위계층으로 직접가치와 유발가치로 나눌 수 있고, 하위계층으로 총 8개의 속성으로 분류 할 수 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 중요도 분석결과 가스하이드레이트를 직접 개발함으로써 얻을 수 있는 개발가치가 사업시행으로 인한 탐사개발 기술의 확보로 유발되는 가치보다 높은 중요도를 가지는 것으로 평가 되었다. 또한 개발가치의 세부항목 중에는 에너지 안보 증진 효과가, 유발가치의 세부항목 중에는 인력양성효과가 가장 중요한 가치평가 요소로 나타났다

  • The objective of this study is to develop the prototype of valuation systems for digital contents. The valuation system developed in this study can be used to evaluate the qualitative and economic value of digital contents for planning stage, development stage, and commercialization stage of contents. Based on this valuation system, decision makers related to the commercialization of digital contents can evaluate the value of digital contents more systematically and concisely.

  • Nowadays, cutting-edge information communication technology is the genuine core technology of the fourth Industrial Revolution and is still making great progress rapidly among various technology fields. The biggest issue in ICT fields is the machine learning based Artificial Intelligence applications using big data in cloud computing environment on the basis of wireless network, and also the technology fields of autonomous control applications such as Autonomous Car or Mobile Robot. Since value of the high-tech ICT technology depends on the surrounded environmental factors and is very flexible, the precise technology valuation method is urgently needed in order to get successful technology transfer, transaction and commercialization. In this research, we analyze the characteristics of the high-tech ICT technology and the main factors in technology transfer or commercialization process, and propose the precise technology valuation method that reflects the characteristics of the ICT technology through phased analysis of the existing technology valuationmodel.

  • It is essential suity management and standardized asset analysis for telecommunication networks, however existing risk analysis methods and tools are not enough to give shape of the method to evaluate value and asset. they only support asset classification schemes. Moreover, since the existing asset classification schemes are to evaluate comprehensive general risk, they are not appropriate for being applied telecommunication networks and they can´t offer any solutions to an evaluator´s subjectivity problem. In this paper, to solve these problems, we introduce the standardized definition of asset evaluation model new asset classification scheme, two-dimensional asset process classification scheme to consider business process and asset, various evaluation standards for quantitative value and qualitative evaluation. To settle an valuator´s subjectivity problem, we proposed $\beta$-distribution Delphi method.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the valuation models and valuation factors for the valuation of real estates. In Korea, the weak market conditions prevented investors from the sound investing the real estates. To develop the real estate investment market, we need the information of sale prices, volume, vacancy rates, and regulatory policies to the various types, and areas of the real estates. In addition, we have to develop the indirect investing methods such as REITs.

  • Recently, although the interest in transfer and transactions of intangible assets increases, there is no valuation model to objectively assess market value of knowledge and information contents such as electronic databases and the necessity of researches associated is brought up. Therefore, the present study proposes valuation models so as to utilize as objective reference information in the contents market of intangible assets, by assessing the market value of science and technology information contents including patents, academic papers and reports. First, we look into application methods of calculating cash flows by content types out of key variables which has been applied to the present technology valuation, and in case of patents we propose valuation methods based on concepts which are applied in the present technology valuation. Next, in case of both papers and reports, in order to reflect the characteristics of these contents we newly propose qualitative valuation methods which are adjustable based on both technology innovation and market demands indices while estimating the economic life cycle of the technology, and also present the input cost-based calculation method as the calculation method of cash flows. Throughout the study, we could establish frameworks by technology fields and business models applicable such as copyright licensing, transactions of individual science and technology information contents, and expect that more objective and reasonable assessment of content values is accessible.

  • Proptech, which has applied information technology to the real estate market, is leading real estate transaction innovation by presenting various value creation models. This study categorizes and understands values that are created and shared in proptech-based businesses, and develops evaluation data that reflects the relative importance of individual value areas. To this end, the dimension of value creation of proptech was hierarchically constructed, and the degree of relative value creation of the sub-industries of the proptech industry was evaluated. In order to grasp the relative importance of the proposed indicators, AHP analysis was conducted for industry and academic experts. In the first stage, intangible values, relational values, and advanced values were presented. It was derived as weights between indicators through two-way comparison. This study aims to improve and develop the value-creation capability of the entire Korean proptech ecosystem in the future by evaluating the value-created competence of each sector of the proptech industry.

  • 본 논문에서는 환경의 변화에 민감한 시계열 데이터인 주가의 변동과정을 보다 효과적으로 설명하기 위한 방안의 하나로 강화 학습 모형의 도입을 제안하며, 특정 시점의 주가 추세를 평가하는 기준으로 가치도 함수를 채택한다. 가치도 함수의 계산에는 강화 학습 알고리즘의 일종인 Monte Carlo 알고리즘을 적용하고, 신경망 구현에 의해 구한 근사 가치도의 적절성을 평가하였다. 실험 결과로 볼 때, 여타 강화 학습 알고리즘을 추가적으로 적용할 경우, 주가 변동의 시계열적 특성을 더욱 잘 반영할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • 공공시설 중 도로계획의 경우 건설과정 및 건설 후의 소음 및 오염 등의 환경 사회적 비용 및 주행성 안전성 등 요소의 평가 등을 수량화가 어려운 대표적 비용으로 들 수 있는데 본 연구에서는 이러한 수량화가 어려운 비용 효과들을 포함하여 고려한 도로노선계획결과를 정보계측기법과 지리정보시스템을 이용하여 '정보량'이라는 통일된 단위로 표현하고, 기존 시설물과의 관계로부터의 '정보편익' 개념으로 평가하였다. 정보계측기법은 인간은 언어를 통하여 모든 사물을 정보로 표현하므로 '정보'라는 통일 된 단위를 사용하여 모호한 가치를 평가해 보고자 하는 방법이며, 따라서 공공시설의 계획과정에서 최적해를 찾기 위한 비용, 편익 및 환경 사회적 요소 등의 정량화되기 어려운 가치를 평가하는데도 사용될 수 있을 것이다. 정보계측기법과 지리정보시스템을 이용하여 도로건설시 발생하는 비용과 직접효과를 고려하기 위하여 시설정보계측모형을 개발하였으며, 도로 주변 시설간의 편익을 고려하기 위하여 시설정보편익모형을 구성하였다. 개발된 모형을 실제 도로계획 사례에 적용한 결과 비용과 직접효과만을 고려한 시설정보계측모형에서는 기존의 도로설계와 유사한 결과가 도출되었으며, 시설정보편익모형에서는 기존의 도로계획 평가에서 고려할 수 없었던 요소들에 대한 고려가 가능하였다.
