  • Frequency is a very important factor in discussing the effect on facilities such as precision instruments and therefore, in evaluating the effect of blasting vibration, it is necessary to identity information on frequency in addition to maximum amplitude of vibration. This study collected rock samples in gneiss area to perform an indoor rock test and to identify frequency of blasting vibration according to priming location, performed of single hole test blasting. Then the study decided dominant frequency through FFT and analysed changes according to priming locations. Consequently frequency range according to priming location is indicated top priming is distributed high range, bottom priming is distributed high range, middle priming is distributed evenly range. Frequency trend according to priming location is indicated distance increase with frequency discrease in top priming, distance increase with frequency increase in bottom priming.

  • This paper presents a mathematical formulation for container slot chartering model through strategic alliance between liner shipping companies. This paper develops a solution procedure to apply the model to real world problems and its applicability is demonstrated by a numerical example. The model presented in this paper has some important features which have never been considered in the previous researches. The model is linear model and pursuits profit maximization. And also it considers slot chartering capacity selection. This paper attempts to perform sensitivity analysis and compares slot chartering model with basic non-collaborating model in which there is no alliance and collaboration. As a result of sensitivity analysis, some interesting findings are obtained; Even though freight rate is more and more decreasing, the profit by slot chartering model is always higher than the basic model but the profit gaps become smaller. But The ratio of the profit gap to the profit of basic model is more increasing.

  • Excavations by blasting in urban area have caused lots of complaints. Hence, special attentions need to be paid to controlling the ground vibrations in designing blasting for those areas. In this study, among the various parameters that can affect the propagation characteristics of ground vibrations, the effect of the priming location of explosive on the ground vibration level was studied for two types of emulsion explosives that had different detonation velocities. Three priming locations of top, middle, and bottom were considered in a charged hole. In the experiment on the effect of detonation velocity, the ground vibration caused by the explosive with a lower detonation velocity showed larger attenuation in the amplitude. The priming locations also affected the ground vibrations levels. The ground vibration level produced from middle priming was found to be larger than the other priming methods under the same blast conditions, but the attenuation of amplitude was also larger in this case. In contrast, the ground vibration level from bottom priming was not larger than the middle priming, but the attenuation was smaller so that the ground vibration was detected at a longer distance.

  • MOS transistors are fabricated and evaluated for RF IC applications such as mobile communication systems using 0.35m CMOS process. Characteristics of MOSFETs are analyzed at various channel length, width and bias conditions. From the analysis, cut-off frequency ($f_T$) is independent on channel width but maximum oscillation frequency ($f_{max}$) tends to derease as the channel width increases. As channel length increases, $f_T$ and fmax decrease. $f_T$ is 22GHz and fmax is 28GHz at its maximum value. High frequency noise performance is improved with larger channel width and smaller channel length at same bias conditions. NFmin at 2GHz is 0.45dB as a minimum value. From the evaluation, MOSFETs designed using 0.35m CMOS process demonstrated a full potential for the commercial RF ICs for mobile communication systems near 2GHz. And optimization methods of the CMOS transistors for RF applications are presented in this paper.

  • In order to identify the characteristics of the propagation depending on delay time (20, 25 ms) and priming location (top priming, middle priming, bottom priming), test blasts were carried out a total of 4 times using different spacing, burden, drilling length, charge per delay and was derived the formula to predict blast vibration. This study investigated the characteristics of vibration by analysis of the nomogram and prediction of Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) from delay time and priming location by the formula to predict ground vibration. And it analyzed the trends of vibration increase by standards charge 0.5, 1.6, 5, 15 kg. Standards charge is "Blasting design and construction guidelines to road construction" by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Depending on the charge in favor of vibration control method is proposed. Thus, when the design was to be used as a variable.

  • In this study, a charging density has been differently applied to all holes to improve an excavated length per round on excavating a tunnel in quartzite mine and to prevent a dead pressure phenomena and sintering phenomena. A composition initiating system using simultaneously a direct initiating system and a indirect initiating system with 2 detonators in one hole has been introduced to cut holes. As a bottom part which is difficult to make a free face are charged with a higher charging density and a column part are charged with a lower charging density, the composition charging and initiating system which the power of explosives works effectively in the rock mass is developed. As the results, a dead pressure phenomena and a sintering phenomena being often produced in a hard rock or in a long hole could be prevented. Besides, the workability was improved by about 15% and the specific charge was reduced to about 20%, as an excavated length vs. a drilled length per round could be increased over 95%.

  • 재고 관리 정책은 크게 정기 점검 재고 정책과 연속 점검 재고 정책의 두 가지로 구분할 수 있다. 정기 점검 재고 정책에는 (R, Q), (R, S), (R, s, S) 등의 재고 정책이 있으며, 연속 재고 점검정책에는 (s, Q), (s, S) 등의 재고 정책이 연구되어 왔다. 공급망 관리는 하나의 기업이 아닌 관련된 모든 기업을 대상으로 하는 기법이며, 급변하는 기업 환경에 적극적으로 대응하고자 많은 기업들이 관심을 기울이고 있는 분야이다. 그리고 공급망 관리의 최종 목적은 고객의 만족도를 최대화시키는 것이다. 일반적으로 재고량과 고객의 만족도는 서로 상반되는 양상을 보인다. 따라서 각 기업에게 있어서 적절한 재고 정책의 수립은 매우 중요한 일이다. 그러나 고객 수요 패턴의 불확실성으로 인하여 공급망의 상위 단계로 갈수록 재고 변동폭이 커지는 양상을 보이는 등 적절한 재고 정책을 수립하는 것은 쉬운 일이 아니다. 더구나 취급 제품이 여러 개일 때는 공급망 전체의 재고 비용을 최소화할 수 있는 각 기업의 최적 재고 정책을 수립하기란 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본 연구는 복수 제품에 대하여 수요 패턴이 불확실한 공급망 모델을 가정하여 전체 공급망의 재고 비용을 최소화할 수 있는 각 기업의 재고 정책을 수립하고자 한다. 추계적인 양상을 보이는 수요 패턴에서 동적 계획법을 이용하여 (s, S) 재고 정책의 적합한 재주문점과 목표 재고점을 찾고, 시뮬레이션을 통해 그 결과를 검증하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 멀티 코드 CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access)시스템에서 고속의 멀티미디어 서비스를 지원하기 위해 정보 데이터열을 QAM(Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) 부호화하는 방법을 제안한다. 송신 구조는 입력 비트를 정진폭 다중부호 이진직교 변조(Constant amplitude code biorthogonal modulation: 이하 CACB라 칭함)로 부호화하여 전송 심볼의 크기를 일정하게 하고 이렇게 이진화된 신호를 QAM 부호화하여 전송속도를 높인다. 복조기의 구조는 수신된 신호로부터 QAM 연판정기 블록을 거쳐 생성된 신호를 CACB 복호화기를 거쳐 데이터를 복조해 낸다. 제안된 시스템은 기존의 멀티 코드 방식에 비해 대역폭 효율을 크게 개선시킬 수 있어 전송 속도를 많이 향상시킬 수 있고, 멀티 코드 방식을 기반으로 하기 때문에 디지털 가전기기나 3세대 이동통신과, WPAN과 관련된 무선 네트워크 응용과 같은 미래의 고속의 무선 멀티미디어 서비스를 지원하기에 적합하다.
