Breakdown Characteristics of Epoxy-Organoclay_10A Nanocomposites for Power Ultrasonic Application (강력초음파 적용으로 분산된 에폭시-Organoclay_10A 나노콤포지트의 절연파괴 특성연구)

  • 에폭시-Organoclay 나노콤포지트를 두가지 분산기법으로 적용하여 제조하였다. 하나는 Centrifugal 기법과 또다른 하는 강력초음파를 이용하여 제조하였다. 초음파를 적용하지 않고 Centrifugal만으로 제조된 나노콤포지트를 충진함량별 교류/직류정극성 전압을 인가한 절연파괴 특성과 Organoclay 종류별 교류절연파괴 특성을 연구하였다. 충진함량 특성으로 원형에비하여 나노콤포지트의 절연파괴 특성을 향상되었고, 함량이 5wt%까지는 거의 같은 파괴강도를 나타내었고, 이후 함량이 증가될수록 오히려 감소되는 경향을 나타내었다. 종류별 Organoclay의 경우 10A특성이 가장 높은 교류절연파괴 강도를 나타내었다. 초음파를 적용한 경우 함량별 교류절연파괴 강도 역시 초음파를 적용하지 않은 경우와 유사한 함량별 절연파괴 경향을 나타내었다. 파괴강도는 초음파를 적용한 경우가 월등히 높은 47.3%가 향상된 결과를 나타내었다. 이는 향후 몰딩용 및 함침용 절연재료로서 응용될 고압절연물에 크게 이용될 것으로 본다.

  • 6.6KV 고전압 위험으로 접지계기용변압기(GPT)와 영상변류기(ZCT)의 2차측에 전압 전류 시험 유입방식으로는 해당 지락보호계전기의 정.부동작이 정확한지 검증이 되지 않아 안전사고 발생의 우려성이 존재하고 있었으며, 이의 해결을 위하여 6.6KV 고압측에 인공지락시험을 통하여 국내외 일부 계전기의 동작 전압 전류 극성이 사양과 상이한 것을 발견하여 실계통에 합당하도록 시정함과 동시에 감전시 인체 저항을 감안한 지락보호계전기(OVGR, SGR) 정정값을 도출하여 인명을 보호하게 하기 위한 지락보호계전 시스템에 대한 연구이다.

  • 이 논문은 금속성 돌기물에 의한 불평등전계중에서의 비진동성과 진동성 임펄스전압에 의한 SF$_{6}$ 가스의 절연파괴 특성에 대해 기술하였다. 절연파괴전압-시간특성을 가스압 0.1-0.5MPa의 범위에서 정.부 극성의 전압을 인가하여 측정하였으며, 그리고 50.ohm.분류기를 통해서 전구방전 전류를 관측하였다. 가스압력에 의한 리이더 진전시간의 의존성도 측정하였다. 스트리머 코로나에 의해 발생하는 공간전하에 의한 국부전계강화는 시험갭의 전기적 절연파괴에 영향을 미치는 것으로 판명되었다. 절연파괴는 초기 스트리머 코로나로부터 발단되어, 국부전계강화에 의한 리이더진전으로 이루어진다.

  • 본 논문은 레독스 흐름 전지(Redox Flow Battery : RFB)용 양극성을 갖는 DC-DC 컨버터의 기본 동작 원리 및 최적 스위칭 기법에 관한 것이다. 양극성을 갖는 DC-DC 컨버터는 매우 낮은 배터리 전압에서도 완전 방전을 위해 고승압이 필요하고, 완전 방전 후 극성 반전이 되어 매우 낮은 전압에서도 충전이 가능하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 동작이 요구되는 RFB용 DC-DC 컨버터의 스위칭 손실을 최소화하기 위한 스위칭 방법을 제안한다. 최종 발표 시 실험 결과를 제시하고자 한다.

Studies on the changes of main components during the fermentation of Anchvy sauce (멸치젓 발효숙성중 주요성분의 변화)

  • This research aimed at investigating the changes of volatile basic nitrogen, amino nitrogen and lipids during the fermentation of 6 month Anchovy cured under room temperature with various treatments(20, 30 and 40% salted) and examing the optimum condition of Anchovy sauce. The results are summerized as the V.B.N which increased with the curing period of anchovy from 14 mg% to 90~107mg% in 180 days curing at 20% salt level. Amino nitrogen in minced anchovy was higher than in whole anchovy during fermentation and the content of Extractive Nitrogen in the curing anchovy containing 20% of salt, kept the highest amount in 60 curing days. As a rule, minced anchovy showed more rapidly increased than whole anchovy. The lipid in curing anchovy containing 20% and 30% of salt has already been oxidized in 30 days while the lipid of anchovy cured with 40% salt prolonged the initial stage to 45 days. During fermentation, peroxide value and acid value showed constant increasing, while thiobarbituric acid began to decrease after 120 days curing. Among the non-polar lipids, linolenic acid, linoleic acid and erucic acid was decomposed by 24.5%, 22.2%, and 20.0%, respectively. It was noticed that the decomposition of polar lipid was retarded by higher salt content.

Growth of Metal Nano-Particles on Polarity Patterned Ferroelectrics by Photochemical Reaction (광화학적 반응을 이용한 편극 패턴된 강유전체 표면에 금속 나노입자의 증착에 관한 연구)

  • We report the surface distribution of metal (Ag, Au) nanoparticles grown on polarity-patterned ferroelectric substrates by photochemical reaction. Single crystal periodically polarity-patterned $LiNbO_3$(PPLN) was used as a ferroelectric substrate. The nanoparticles were grown by ultra-violet (UV) light exposure of the PPLN in the aqueous solutions including metas. The surface distribution of the grown nanoparticles were measured by atomic force microscopy and identification of the orientation of the polarity of the ferroelectric surface was performed by piezoelectric force microscopy. The Ag- and Au-nanoparticles grown on +z polarity regions are larger and denser than that on -z polarity regions. In particlur, the largest and denser Ag-nanoparticles were grwon on the polarity boundary regions of the PPLN while Au-nanoparticles were not specifically grown on the boundary regions. Thus, we found that the size and position of metal nanoparticles grown on ferroelectric surfaces can be controlled by UV-exposure time and polarity pattern structures. Also, we discuss the difference of the surface distribution of the metal nano-particles depending on the polarity of the ferroelectric surfaces in terms of surface band structures, reduced work fucntion, and inhomogeneous electric field distribution.

Supercooled melt growth and abnormal polar morphology of meta-Nitroaniline(mNA) (유기결정 meta-Nitroaniline(mNA)의 과냉법에 의한 단결정 성장과 극성 외형의 이상성)

  • meta-Nitroaniline(mNA) crystals were grown from the supercooled melt for the first time. A seed was introduced into the purified mNA melt of 100 ml 0.1 K above the melting temperature ($T_m$ : $112.0^{\circ}C$) and crystal was grown at constant supercooling of 0.1 K. The melt was stirred . mechanically and the crystal was also rotated while the growth proceeds. mNA crystals of size up to $20{\times}15{\times}15 \textrm {mm}^3 and of very high perfection could be grown for the period of one day. The bottom half of the crystal faces are well-faceted and covered by {111} and {021} faces, while the faces of the top half are not well defined. The overall crystal morphology was characterized by the unidirectional growth along one of the polar axes. The absolute direction of preferred growth was determined to be [001] by the pyroelectric measurements. The perfection of the crystal was characterized by synchrotron X-ray topography and optical characterization was made by measuring second harmonic conversion efficiency.

Changes in Cordycepin and Liquiritigenin Content and Inhibitory Effect on NO Production in Fermented Licorice and Dongchunghacho (동충하초균주로 발효한 감초의 주요성분 함량 변화 및 NO 생성 억제 효과)

  • Traditional Korean fermented herbal plants are potential sources of new food that promote health, but they are still produced by yeast, fungi or bacteria fermentation. In the present work, mushroom (Paecilomyces tenuipes and Cordyceps militaris) fungal dongchunghacho were used to fermented Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer (licorice) or mixed with pupa. The pupa were tested as solid substrates for the production of corcycepin, liquiritin, and liquiritigenin. The fermented substrates were analyzed the content of cordycepin, liquiritin, liquiritigenin, and glycirrhizin productivity and inhibitory activity of NO. The cordycepin content of 70% EtOH extract from the fermented mixture of licorice and 50% pupa with C. militaris increased maximum at 33 times. Pupa was very excellent for the production of cordycepin. The liquiritin content was decreased in all the assays inoculated with P. tenuipes and C. militaris dongchunghachos. The liquiritigenin content was higher when fermented with P. tenuipes than C. militaris. The addition of pupa significantly reduced the liquiritin content and glycyrrhizin production. As a result, the liquiritigenin content increased in fermented P. tenuipes and C. militaris, and liquiritin and glycyrrhizin decreased. The inhibition of NO production in the different ethanolic extracts fermented with licorice and pupa was also significantly increased and higher than that of a nonfermented extract in higher polar solvent extracts. The contents of cordycepin and biological active compounds were altered in accordance with the concentration of pupa and fungi. This study provides basic data for use in developing dongchunghacho fungi as a functional food resource.

  • Sulphur-hexafluoride has extensively been used as an insulating gas of electric power equipment in substation for its high dielectric strength, non-toixity and non-flammable properties. But it is very expensive and is liquidizable under the condition of low temperature and high pressure. And it is very sensible to the locally high electric field strength. To resolve these problems, we studied 50% FOV and V-t characteristics of $SF_6-N_2$ mixtures under positive and negative lightning impulses using a 25mm rod-plane gap. 50% FOV of $SF_6-N_2$ 50% mixture was about 85% of pure $SF_6$ and it was known that $SF_6-N_2$ mixtures can be used as an economic substitution insulating gas for $SF_6$.

  • This paper describes an AC voltage regulator using AC chopper and auxiliary transformer which is series connected with main input. It has many advantages such as fast voltage control, high efficiency and low THD. A detail study of step down AC voltage regulator is described and two kinds of novel step-up/down voltage regulator for AVR application are proposed. The operation principle and PWM method of the proposed regulator are described. Experimental results show that it can be used as AC voltage regulator for special purpose very efficiently.
