Resistivity Analysis of Model Block for Using of Structure Grounding Electrode (구조체접지극 활용을 위한 모형블록의 저항률 분석)

  • This study analyzed the resistivity characteristic of model block to make the good use of structure grounding and substitution grounding electrode base of building. After making the model block of mortar and concrete block, it measured resistivity in hydrous condition and dry condition and compared with the blocks that is mixed earth resistance lowering agent to decrease resistivity. The resistance value of block accepted much influence by block resistivity. When the block resistivity was same or similar value, the value of soil resistivity has occurred as different as the value of grounding resistance.

  • The electrical characteristics of concrete block including a reinforcing rod in the foundation of the housing was fundamentally reviewed. It was tried to apply the substitutional earthing electrode in the foundation of the building. In order to identify the difference in the earthing resistance between mortar block and concrete block model, those models including a reinforcing rod in their inside were prepared and investigated for the earthing resistance. In results, the earthing resistance was largely affected by the block's resistivity compared to the change of resistance in reinforcing rods and the ground resistivity.

  • 본 논문에서는 직류선로 접지의 보호알고리즘을 제안한다. 전형적인 보호알고리즘과 비교하면 제안된 알고리즘은 공급선로와 고장선로 사이의 차이를 구별하는 장점을 갖는다. 제안된 알고리즘의 내용은 블록킹 필터와 PLC(Power Line Carrier)의 사용에 의해서이다. 시뮬레이션의 결과는 제안된 알고리즘이 매우 유용함을 나타낸다.

  • The friction and wear of tire determined by frictional behavior of tire tread that translate driving force, cornering force and braking force between automobile and road as a result of frictional behavior of each tread block. The tire tread block is representative case of rubber block doing frictional behavior. In this paper, frictional behavior of rubber block under compressive force and shear force was analytically obtained by using slip starting position parameter instead of friction coefficient which is uncertain to express exact value between rubber and other surfaces yet. And local coefficients of friction were calculated as a function of compressive force, shear force, shear modulus of rubber, shape factor and slip starting position.

Analysis of Reinforcement Effect of Hollow Modular Concrete Block on Sand by Laboratory Model Tests (실내모형실험을 통한 모래지반에서의 중공블록 보강효과 분석)

  • The hollow modular concrete block reinforced foundation method is one of the ground reinforcement foundation methods that uses hexagonal honeycomb-shaped concrete blocks with mixed crushed rock to reinforce soft grounds. It then forms an artificial layered ground that increases bearing capacity and reduces settlement. The hollow modular honeycomb-shaped concrete block is a geometrically economical, stable structure that distributes forces in a balanced way. However, the behavioral characteristics of hollow modular concrete block reinforced foundations are not yet fully understood. In this study, a bearing capacity test is performed to analyze the reinforcement effectiveness of the hollow modular concrete block through the laboratory model tests. From the load-settlement curve, punching shear failure occurs under the unfilled sand condition (A-1-N). However, the filled sand condition (A-1-F) shows a linear curve without yielding, confirming the reinforcement effect is three times higher than that of unreinforced ground. The bearing capacity equation is proposed for the parts that have contact pressure under concrete, vertical stress of hollow blocks, and the inner skin friction force from horizontal stress by confining effect based on the schematic diagram of confining effect inside a hollow modular concrete block. As a result of calculating the bearing capacity, the percentage of load distribution for contact force on the area of concrete is about 65%, vertical force on the area of hollow is 16.5% and inner skin friction force of area of the inner wall is about 18.5%. When the surcharge load is applied to the concrete part, the vertical stress occurs on the area of the hollow part by confining effect first. Then, in the filled sand in the hollow where the horizontal direction is constrained, the inner skin friction force occurs by the horizontal stress on the inner wall of the hollow modular concrete block. The inner skin friction force suppresses the punching of the concrete part and reduces contact pressure.

  • The analysis of the frictional energy of the rubber block with contact to the surface is necessary to study the wear for rubber. It is important to define the relationship of the frictional energy and wear, as the most theory of the wear of rubber product is based on the frictional energy of rubber block. To predict the life of the rubber block, the most of research has been focused on the use of the finite element analysis or the actual experiments which need the many time and expensive costs.Therefore, this research is achieved the successful results of the analysis to the frictional energy by analytic method. This frictional energy is function of the material properties, the shape of block, the vertical and horizontal load and the block moving speed. The analytical results are compared with the test results of this paper which can be used for the analysis of the friction behavior for the wear estimation of the rubber products.

  • This paper presents some important research result comparisons for multi function RF modules which use amplifier or frequency multiplier. By using multiplier, multi function module can be realized amply in comparison to multi band module which has separate block for each frequency band. Some com paring analysis among the switching method between separate amplifier and multiplier, the structure using frequency selective reflector, and the module using the defected ground structure. The multi function module which operates as amplifier or multiplier with input frequency is developed and input frequency suppression and output harmonics suppression can be improve d by using defected ground structure.

  • This paper was analyzed the resistivity change characteristic of mortar model block and concrete that was made earth electrode that's used concrete or basic concrete of building for 1 year. The early resistivity measurement value of concrete model block is higher than mortar model block. But after 1 year the resistivity measurement value of mortar model block is significantly higher than concrete model block. Because depends on time elapsed complete dryness factor of mortar model block that has not gravel is higher than concrete model block. And absorptance and function of mortar mode block was by far outstanding than concrete model block in the data for verification of the amount of contained water and the amount of dryness of mortar model block and concrete model block.

  • This paper was analyzed fundamental about electrical characteristic of concrete to practical use base of building as Substitution Ground Electrode and Artificial Ground Electrode. 1) Gravel or Sand has a function that makes increase Resistivity of Concrete and Cement has a function that makes decrease Resistivity of Concrete. 2) Moisture Increase Work is so hard because of dry of Block but the Resistivity was decreased when the moisture of Concrete Block was gradually increased. 3) According to the measurement result of moltar and concrete block, ratio relation of Resistance and Resistivity of each block was thirty-fold difference.

  • The protection algorithm of DC line grounding for the subway is proposed in this paper. Compared to the conventional protection algorithm, the proposed algorithm has a advantage that can distinguish the difference between service line and faulted line. The contents of the proposed algorithm are by using blocking filter and PLC(Power Line Carrier). Results of the simulation show that the proposed algorithm is very useful.
