An Analysis of the Pseudo-analytical Thought and Analytical Thought that Students Do in the Process of Algebra Problem Solving (대수 문장제 해결 과정에서 나타나는 擬似(의사) 분석적 사고와 분석적 사고에 대한 분석 - 중학생 대상의 사례 연구 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand students' thinking process in the algebra problem solving, on the base of the works of Vinner(1997a, 1997b). Thus, two middle school students were evaluated in this case study to examine how they think to solve algebra word problems. The following question was considered to analyze the thinking process from the similarity-based perspective by focusing on the process of solving algebra word problems; What is the relationship between similarity and the characteristics of thinking process at the time of successful and unsuccessful problem solving? The following results were obtained by analyzing the success or failure in problem solving based on the characteristics of thinking process and similarity composition. Successful problem solving can be based on pseudo-analytical thought and analytical thought. The former is the rule applied in the process of applying closed formulas that is constructed structural similarity not related with the situations described in the text. The latter means that control and correction occurred in all stages of problem solution. The knowledge needed for solutions was applied with the formulation of open-end formulas that is constructed structural similarity in which memory and modification with the related principles or concepts. In conclusion, the student's perception on the principles involved in a solution is very important in solving algebraic word problems.

Effects of REBT Program Application for the Changes in Maladaptive Thoughts among Female Junior Tennis Players (청소년 여자테니스 선수의 부적응적 사고 변화를 위한 합리적 인지재구성 프로그램 적용효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate the program for convericient reconfiguration in an attempt to change maladjustmental way of thinking among female junior tennis players. For verification of the program, a qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis were carried out. Through the REBT program for convericient reconfiguration, maladjustmental way of thinking among junior tennis players was drawed and interviews with them were subsequently performed. As a result, REBT counseling technique was applied to understand personal psychological problems and to transform maladjustmental and unreasonable way of thinking into rational belief, confirming positivity toward their situation. After all, their athletic performance as well as holistic development was found to be improved. In quantitative analysis, maladaptive thinking scale sports psychology questionnaire and survey for Korean sports performance strategy were both increased post treatment, suggesting that their psychological status became positive as a result of application of psychological prevention. The results of this study showed that athletic performance would be enhanced and growth and development in personality and self-realization would be expected if various psychological problems in adolescent players were progressed in detailed.

  • 새로운 기술 활용에 직접적인 영향을 받는 사람들은 기존 사고와 행동을 변화해야 할 필요성을 인식하지만 대개의 경우 현재 상황에 집착하게 된다. 따라서 조직원에게 변화의 방향을 제시하고 이것이 필수적인 것이며 동시에 성취 할 수 있다는 확신을 주어 그들의 사고를 다시 재구성 할 수 있도록 한다면 조직내의 성공적인 변화 관리를 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 조직 변화 관리를 성공적으로 실행하기 위하여 변화의 본질을 이해하고, 변화를 방해하는 위험 요소를 최소화 하는 방법론, 구체적인 변화 관리 실행계획 수립 절차, 각 단계별 생성되는 산출물, 진단도구(Tool)를 제시하며, 특히 평가단계에서는 변화의 초기 목표와의 차이 분석을 통하여 조직 전체에 효과를 확장할 수 있도록 필요한 기술, 지식, 태도 등을 추출하여, 변화가 ongoing 프로세스이며 지속적인 개선 활동과 연계되어야 한다는 점에 대해 논한다.

  • 기업의 IT 환경이 시스템 중심에서 비즈니스 중심으로 바뀌어감에 따라 IT 서비스 관리 프로세스 구축에 대한 가이드를 제공하는 Information Technology Infrastructure Library(ITIL) 모델이 나왔다. ITIL 적용이 가장 큰 목적은 IT 업무 프로세스 개선을 통한 서비스 품질 개선과 서비스 비용 절감이다. 변경관리 IT 환경의 모든 사고 및 변경에 관해 효율적이고 신속한 처리를 위한 표준화된 방법과 절차를 사용하는 ITIL 의 Service Support 의 한 영역이다. 그러나 기존 모델에는 우선순위, 업무범위등 처리절차에 대해 선진사례가 나와있는 반면 일정에 대한 신뢰성이 없다는 문제점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서 프로젝트 관리에서의 일정관리 개념을 도입하고 Goal Question Metrics(GQM) 기법을 사용하여 일정관리의 신뢰성을 부여할 수 있는 개발기간 지표를 제안한다. 또한 이러한 지표의 타당성 검증을 위해 S 사의 데이터를 비교 분석한다. 결과적으로 제안하는 지표를 통하여 조직운영의 효율성과 비즈니스에 초점을 맞춘 IT 서비스를 제공할 수 있다.

  • 본 연구는 공과대학교 학생들을 대상으로 하여 1학기 동안 창의적사고와문제해결이라는 교과목에 참여한 학생들을 대상으로 하였다. 팀 중심 수업설계를 통하여 창의적문제해결 5단계를 도입하여 절차별로 총 15주 수업 중 13주 수업을 설계하여 실시하고 15주차 수업에서 창의성 검사와 학업적 자기효능감 검사를 실시하였다.

  • 최근 수학 창의성 개발과 관련되어 문제설정에 대한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있으나 문제설정의 기법과 지도방법에 대한 연구는 실제적인 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 이 연구에서는 문제설정의 유형과 수준을 논의함으로서 문제설정 지도에 대한 시사점을 주고자 한다. 문제설정의 유형으로는 다음과 같이 분류될 수 있다. 첫째, 문제를 구성하는 요인들을 다른 것으로 대체하여 만들 수 있는 대치적 수준의 문제설정, 둘째 유추적 사고에 의해 만들 수 있는 유추적 수준의 문제설정, 셋째는 개념이나 또는 해를 구하는 방법이나 절차를 다른 형태로 바꾸는, 즉 문제를 재구성, 재정의 및 재조직하여 문제를 만드는 재구성 수준의 문제설정, 넷째는 출판되는 논문의 주제 선정과 같은 전문가 수준의 문제설정으로 분류하였다.

  • In the marine accidents judgment, investigation of truth of matters is one of important process to find out the reason of ship collision accidents. In this paper, reproduce system of ship collision accidents using ship manoeuvirng simulator technique will be introduced with which marine accidents can be easily reproduced in visual display at the case of marine accidents trial. In this system if the users select the type of ship and location of accidents, the process of ship collision will be provided in 2D and 3D display. The system also provides environmental visualizationdisplay such as fog whether and day-night view including various view angle that can be helpful to find out the reason of accidents.

  • Risk elements of highway safety facilities are affected by complex environments. Thus, risk-based approach for traffic safety facilities is needed. For this, in this study, qualitative and quantitative risk assessment methodology and procedure for highway safety facilities is proposed, which can be used as risk-based approach incorporating VE process. Also, for the quantitative risk assessment, event tree using EPDO(Equivalent Property Damage Only) with respect to frequency and magnitude of risk events is introduced. As a result, risk index of alternative 1(140cm) and 2(127(cm) which can be used as performance factor in VE approach are estimated.

  • We explored whether unconscious thought affects the processing of scientific technology information concerning nuclear power. Instead of conscious deliberation of cost-benefit analysis of nuclear energy, we would like to show the effects of unconscious thought on decision making. Participants were presented with all information about nuclear power and then judged the most positive as well as the most negative items. Participants in the unconscious thought condition performed a 2-back digit memory task as distractor before they made any decision regarding the nuclear power. Those in conscious thought condition were asked to carefully evaluate all presented information while participants in the immediate decision condition made a quick decision. Based on the analysis of previous studies on this topic, we attempted to obtain the potential effects of unconscious thought by modifying materials and experimental procedures including the use of noise. Even with these new manipulations, the effect of unconscious thought on decision making was not observed in Experiment 1. In contrast, we observed a significant effect of unconscious thought on decision making when task purpose was clearly presented after participants have finished reading all information regarding nuclear power. The results of the present study indicate that if the task purpose were clearly presented, the effects of unconscious thoughts on decision making could be observed.

  • To evaluate the sequence of event and the Thermohydraulic behavior during total loss of feedwater accident and recovery procedure, a RELAP5/MOD3 calculation is performed and compared with the LOFT L9-l/L3-3 experiment. Also, the predictability of the code for the major Thermohydraulic phenomena following the accident is assessed. As a result, it is found that a pressure control using the spray until the time the water level reaches the top of the pressurizer, an overpressure protection by pressurizer PORV, a recovery of the secondary heat removal capability by refilling steam generator, and an effective cooldown by the continued natural circulation can be performed without core uncovery. It is also found that the plant-specific evaluation is necessary to confirm the effectiveness of the current symptom-oriented emergency operating procedure, especially in an overpressure protection performance and steam generator recovery performance.
