  • The purpose of this study was to identify the reexamination effects of behavioral activation·inhibition scale(Choi & Huh, 2010) on self-determination in order to analysis situational structure for P·E class which is perceived by students. To obtain the purpose, 656 high-school students from Gyeonggi-do area answered questionnaire using convenient sampling method. Data which is obtained through self-administration was analyzed using by the frequency analysis, multiple reguression analysis, EFA, and CFA with SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 16. Results were as followed. First, the more students have friend relation, teacher behavior, emotion change, and positive class attitude that are sub-factors of behavioral activation·inhibition, the more they have self-determination. Second, the less students have typical class structure, negative teacher's attitude, punishment, and lack of self-efficacy, the more they have self-determination. Overall results were discussed for practical application in P·E class.

  • This study identifies possible determinants that may have influences on the switching behavior from the current payment system of credit or check cards to the easy payment service based on push-pulling-mooring model. And this research empirically tests how those determinants affect switching intention to the easy payment service. The moderating effect of policy expectation is also taken into account. The findings show switching intention to the easy payment service is influenced by the followings: dissatisfaction with the current payment system as a pushing factor, perceived easy of use and trust in easy payment service as pulling factors, and affective/cognitive inertia and unfavorable subjective norm as mooring factors. The results also show that moderating effect of policy expectation exists in the relationship between perceived ubiquitousness and switching intention.

  • At the current stage of a semi-autonomous vehicle, there are situations in which the vehicle has to request take-over control to the driver quickly. However, current self-driving cars use only simple messages and warning sounds to notify drivers when handing over control, so they do not adequately convey considerations of individual characteristics or explanations of various emergent situations. This study investigated how visual and auditory information and the efficacy of drivers in self-driving cars can improve efficient take-over requests between the car and the driver. We found that there were significant differences in driver's cognitive load, reliability, safety, usability, and usefulness according to the combination of three visual and auditory information provided in the experiment of the take-over request situation. The results of this study are expected to help design self-driving vehicles that can communicate more safely and efficiently with drivers in urgent control transition situations.

  • This study aims to prove the value of SNS tourism information by confirming the relation between SNS tourism information and perceived risk and by verifying its influence on the intention to switch tourism destination. The data was collected from 302 tourists. For data analysis, SPSS 18.0 program and AMOS 18.0 were conducted. First, functional characteristics of SNS tourism information have been verified to have no relationship with the tourist's perception of risk, and therefore the functional tourism information is thought to cause individual motive regardless of tourist's perception of risk. Second, aesthetic value and economic benefits of SNS tourism information have been analyzed to reduce perceived risk of tourists. Third, a symbol of SNS Tourism information has proved to be an element that increases the risk perceived by tourists, indicating that various kinds of tourism information provided by other channels including SNS can serve as a momentum to make tourists recognize new risks the other way round as new tourism information is accumulated, which acts as new motivating factor.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide a critical assessment of evidence-based Korean pediatric research that can inform clinical practicability of, and future research on distraction interventions for pediatric procedural pain management. Methods: A critical review of evidence-based Korean pediatric research was conducted. Databases were searched to identify research that included an evaluation of a distraction intervention as an intervention for pediatric procedural pain management. The search yielded 68 studies. Results: From these studies, 14 were included for this review and all were recently published (2003-2014). Quasi experimental designs were most frequently used (n=12) and for 71.4% the focus was preschoolers. Audiovisual techniques were the most common form of distraction. In most studies clinical utility of the distraction intervention was not examined. Fairly consistent reductions in behavioral measures of pain in association with the distraction intervention were found but less consistent results were found for physiological measures. Conclusion: Lack of methodological rigor limits the evidence for distraction interventions to reduce pain and fear experienced by children during painful procedures. Further research to analyze the cost and time-effectiveness and to identify consumer and provider satisfaction with distraction interventions is needed to determine whether distraction interventions are clinically relevant.

  • The rapid increase in the use of mobile devices is changing consumers' online shopping behavior. However, the difference in the effect on the conversion rate according to the time when consumers switch from a small screen to a large screen has not been sufficiently studied. In addition, the differences in the effect of device conversion on purchase performance according to the characteristics of each country's infrastructure have not been sufficiently studied. Against this background, this study aims to analyze whether the timing of switching from mobile devices to PC devices and the country's mobile Internet penetration rate are moderating the positive effect of device switching on purchase performance. For empirical analysis, Google Merchandise Store data was collected and 101,466 data from 130 countries were analyzed with a multilevel model. As a result of the analysis, consumers' device switching (i.e., mobile to PC) had a positive effect when it occurred in the middle of the consumer journey. However, it was analyzed that when device switching occurred at the later stage of the consumer journey, it had a negative effect on purchase performance. In addition, it was analyzed that the higher the mobile Internet penetration rate, the weaker the positive effect of consumer device conversion on purchase performance.

  • This study aimed to examine the effects of a reciprocal attention intervention on the joint attention behaviors of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) by comparing the music and nonmusic conditions. An alternating treatment design was applied as one of the single subject designs and the reciprocal attention intervention included music and nonmusic conditions implemented alternately within a session. The participants were four children between the ages 4 and 5 years and each participant who participated in 23 intervention sessions that followed the sequence of baseline (3 sessions), treatment (15 sessions), and follow-up (5 sessions). The music condition consisted of structured joint instrument playing, trials for attentional shift, and interactive instrument playing. The nonmusic condition consisted of joint toy play, trials for attentional shift, and turn taking-based play. The occurrence of target behaviors (i. e., joint attention behavior, eye gaze, and joint action) was analyzed across sessions. At pretest and posttest, the Early Social Communication Scale was administered. All participants showed increasing tendency in all target behaviors, but such occurrence was greater in the music condition than in the nonmusic condition. The findings support the use of a reciprocal attention intervention with musical stimuli to effectively improve joint attention in this population.
