  • 본 고에서는 최근 주목 받고 있는 비디오 스트리밍 보안 기술과 관련한 ITU-T 표준화 내용에 대하여 살펴보고자 한다. 특히, SVC (Scalable Video Coding) 기술을 위해 제안된 안전한 트랜스코딩 메커니즘 (Secure Transcodable Mechanism)을 위한 보안 정책 모델에 대하여 논의한다.

  • Recently many display devices support the digital display interface as display market growth. DisplayPort is a next generation display interface at the PC, projector and high definition content applications in more widely used connection solution development. This paper implements multiple streams based on the behavior of the main link that is suitable for the display port v1.1a standard. The limit point of Displayport, interface between the Sink Device and Sink Device is also implemented. And two or more differential image data are enable to output the result through four Lanes stated in display port v1.1a, of two or more display devices without the addition of a separate Lane. The Multiple Video Streaming Controller is implemented with 6,222 ALUTs and 6,686 register, 999,424 of block memory bits synthesized using Quartus II at Altera Audio/Video Development board (Stratix II GX FPGA Chip).

  • As the performance of the next-generation broadband wireless networks is dramatically enhanced, various services (i.e., education, Live video streaming, Live video conferencing, online games, etc.) have been provided to users through a smart mobile platform. Those services are usually provided by using the centralized communication server. However, since all multimedia traffic is exchanged through a communication server, it often has the scalability problem with regard to traffic management. Our main purpose is for group smart users to provide scalable live multimedia streaming service based on P2P network. To do this, we have designed an architecture of P2P-based service management for mobile group communication management and service management protocol. In order to verify the performance of the proposed scheme, we have mathematically analyzed the performance in terms of the average transmission delay and bandwid th utilization.

Low Power Consumption Technology for Streaming Data Playback in the IPTV Set-top Box (IPTV 셋톱박스 환경에서 스트리밍 데이터 재생을 위한 전력 소모 감소 기법)

  • The hard disk is one of the most frequently used storage in IPTV sep-top box. It has large storage capacity and provides fast I/O speed compared to its price whereas it causes high power consumption due to mechanical characteristics of spindle motor. In order to play streaming data in the set-top box, spindle motor of hard disk keeps active mode and it causes high power consumption. In this paper, We propose an offset-buffering and multi-mode spin-down method to reduce power consumption for streaming data playback. The offset-buffering inspects the user's viewing pattern and performs buffering based on the analysis of viewing pattern. So, it can maintain the status of spindle motor as idle mode for long time. Besides, it can reduce power consumption by spinning down according to offset-buffer size. The experimental result shows that proposed offset-buffering and multi mode spin-down method is about 28.3% and 12.5% lower than the full-Buffering method in terms of the power consumption and spin-down frequency, respectively.

  • UHD content is characterized by higher bandwidth requirements to provide seamless playback. The existing HTTP adaptive streaming scheme periodically requests video segment of lower quality than the available bandwidth in the steady state. In the steady state, the On-Off pattern is repeated due to the difference of the available bandwidth and the encoding rate of the content. And the repeated Off interval is causing the problem that can not efficiently use the available bandwidth. In the wireless environment where the delay and loss rate are higher with large bandwidth fluctuations, this problem is exacerbated because the available bandwidth is estimated inaccurately. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a segment scheduling scheme for efficient bandwidth utilization of UHD contents streaming in wireless environment. Proposed scheme is a group segment that simultaneously reqeusts multiple segments in one request message in order to reduce frequency of OFF interval. Through simulation, Our scheme improves bandwidth utilization.

The Influence of Key Opinion Consumers on Purchase Intention in Live Streaming Commerce

  • Live streaming commerce has emerged as an innovative e-commerce model. This study, based on the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM), aims to explore the impact of Key Opinion Consumers' (KOCs) attributes in live streaming commerce on purchase intentions on short video platforms. A survey was conducted with 411 consumers, and data analysis and hypothesis testing were performed using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 23.0 software. Research has found that differences in consumers' information processing abilities lead to different pathway selections. Central route factors such as recommendation consistency, product involvement, and professionalism, as well as peripheral route factors such as recommendation timeliness, all have significant positive effects on consumers' purchase intention. However, visual cues in the peripheral route do not have a significant impact. This study aims to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the development of the live streaming commerce industry, and to help companies adjust their promotion strategies based on differences in consumer information processing, thereby improving purchase conversion rates.

  • This paper proposes and implements consistency algorithm that is serviced streaming data efficiently in VOD system. The media data is loaded into each node by Round Robin method. The barrier mechanism is changed into the minimum data factor(SH, GOP) of media data in this paper. In addition in order to fast media data service, the additional features are implemented in the consistency algorithm. Additional feature of the consistency algorithm is added. First, time synchronization algorithm is added the suggested consistency algorithm. Second, the prepaging mechanism supports efficient buffering service. I experimented the suggested consistency algorithm two DSM systems. The performance is good due to the last barrier algorithm.

  • In this paper, We proposed joint-modulation CDMA system for efficient streaming transmission. and, We analyzed joint-modulation CDMA system using nakagami fading model and impulsive interference model for transmission channel environment. Also, it can being compensate the performance degradation by using MRC diversity scheme and BCH coding scheme.

  • 인터넷 인프라의 발달로 인터넷 서비스의 분야는 점차 넓어지고 서비스 대상 데이터도 과거의 문자, 숫자형에서 멀티미디어 데이터로 확장되고 있다 특히 비디오와 같은 대용량의 컨텐츠를 QoS에 맞게 서비스하기 위해서 새로운 제품들이 등장하게 되었는데 한국전자통신연구원에서는 스트리밍 가속화가 가능한 NS (network-storage) 카드를 개발하였다. 이 논문은 NS 카드를 장착한 시스템에서 인기 많은 비디오 데이터를 QoS와 저장공간의 효율을 위해 부분 컨텐츠 복제 기법을 제안한다. 이 방범은 기존의 전체 컨텐츠를 복제하여 서비스하는 방법과는 달리 컨텐츠의 부분을 복제하고 서비스 시정에서 나머지 부분을 복제함으로써 사용자의 서비스 지연시간이 늘어나지 않으면서 저장공간의 효율성을 높일 수 있다.

  • 효율적인 파일 공유를 일차적인 목표로 하였던 P2P 프로토콜 기술은 서서히 멀티미디어 스트리밍으로 옮겨져 가고 있다. Swarming 을 이용한 P2P 스트리밍 시스템에서 비디오를 중심으로 한 채널변경 또는 재생지점 변경으로 인해 지연현상이 발생하게 되는데, P2P 시스템에서 해결해야 하는 당면 과제이다. 지연현상을 해결하기 위한 기존의 연구로는 프리페칭 전략이 있지만, 이들은 모든 사용자들의 시청패턴을 고려하지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 인터랙션과 같은 social meta-data 를 이용하여 프리페칭을 지원하는 시스템을 제안한다.
