An Empirical Study on the Obstacle Factor of Standardization and Overcoming the Obstacles of Enterprises Using the Structural Equation Model (구조방정식 모형을 활용한 표준화 장애요인과 기업의 장애극복방안에 관한 실증연구)

  • In order to ensure the interoperability of products and technologies, companies apply standard technology in R&D but encounter various obstacles in this process, which they try to overcome through active standardization activities. Various studies have investigated the obstacles and coping strategies of companies in the R&D process. However, studies on the obstacles and coping strategies in the standardization process are insufficient, and the types of obstacles related to standardization, so a variety of studies are also needed on the types of activities. In this study, we tried to determine the types of obstacles related to standardization and to examine how these obstacles affect the standardization activities of companies. The analysis used the data from the 'National Standards Survey' which was conducted by the Korean Standards Association in Korea for companies engaged in the electrical, electronic, and information-related fields in Korea. The relationship between standard-related difficulties, needs and standardization activities was verified through structural equation modeling. The analysis results revealed that the standards-related disability issues have some influence on the standardization activities and the mediating effect by the necessity of the standard was investigated. We also found that many companies are making various efforts to overcome the barriers caused by standard activities. This suggests that a company can build a virtuous cycle structure by performing strategic actions to overcome obstacles by standardization activity and reducing the obstacles caused by standard-related research and development.

  • Recently in the progress of electronic equipment, power transformer was considered an important part. To make power transformer with miniaturization, lightening, low Power, we need a high efficiency core material. In this paper, we added $V_2$$O_{5}$ and $CaCo_3$ to Mn-Zn Ferrite to make a high efficiency, low loss core material. The compositions are MnO : ZnO : $Fe_2$$O_3$=37 : 11 : 52 mol%. They were sintered at 1250 for Three hours. Initial permeability was measured at 0.1 MHz. At 200 mT, Power loss was measured by temperature changing at 25 KHz, 50 KHz, 100 KHz. When we added $V_2$$O_{5}$ and $CaCo_3$, 0.08 wt%, 0.05 wt% respectively, we get 415 ㎾/㎥ at 200 mT, 100 KHz, $60^{\circ}C$. We can reduce eddy current loss as a main loss of high frequency by addition of a little mount of $V_2$$O_{5}$ $CaCo_3$. So we can decrease the power transformer's power loss.

An Empirical Study on the Effects of Absorption Capacity and Knowledge Protectiveness on New Product Development Performance from a Supplier Perspective (공급자 관점에서 흡수역량과 지식보호성향이 신제품개발 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증적 연구)

  • Companies' efforts to secure and sustain a competitive advantage in the market may also appear in the form of new product development. This has increased the importance of leveraging knowledge from other companies in a global competition that is accelerating with an accelerating product life cycle and the development of transportation and communications. In order to create valuable knowledge through the exchange and combination of knowledge, the absorptive capacity of the recipient of the knowledge should be considered as important, but also the knowledge protection tendency, which is characteristic of the knowledge transferor, should be considered. However, studies that considered these factors at the same time were very limited. This study examines the effect of suppliers 'absorptive capacity and buyer' s knowledge protection on new product development performance during the joint development of new products. In addition, we investigated the interaction effect between supplier's absorption capacity and buyer's knowledge protection tendency. For this purpose, data were collected for automobile industry, electronics industry and defense industry, where joint development of new products occurred frequently, and statistical verification was performed by regression analysis. The results showed that the absorptive capacity of the supplier was positively correlated with the performance of the new product development, and the buyer 's knowledge protection tendency had a negative relationship with the new product development performance. In addition, the absorptive capacity of the supplier and the buyer 's knowledge protection tendency have an interaction effect on the new product development result. These results suggest that suppliers' absorption capacity is an important factor in the joint development of new products, but suppliers with superior absorption capacity may have a negative impact on new product development performance if buyers have a negative attitude toward knowledge transfer.

  • 오늘날 열대림 면적의 급격한 감소, 지구온난화등 지구환경 보전의 관점에서 이들 목재이외의 자원의 활용 및 양마와 같은 새로운 비목재자원 개발의 중요성이 재인식되기에 이르렀으며, 이 가운데서 양마는 생장이 라르고 수확량이 크며, 목질부의 단섬유는 물론 긴 섬유장을 가진 인피부섬유로 구성되어 있고, 실리카함량도 매우 적어, 특히 산림자원이 부족한 개발도상국에서 펄프.제지용 자원으로서 주목되고 있다. 양마가펄프.제지용자원으로서 오늘날과 같은 세계적 주목을 받게 된 것은 미국 농무성 북부지역연구센타 에서 이루어진 “새로운 섬유작물”에 관한 기초연구에서 양마가 제지용 섬유작물로서 높이 평가되고 있다. 양마의 경우 인피부는 비교적 리그닌함량이 적고, 목질부는 활엽수재에 가까운 리그닌을 함유하고 있는데다, 섬유형태에 있어서도 인피부와 목질부간에 큰 차이가 발견된다. 본 연구에서는 양마를 중성아황산법으로 전처리하여 제조한 반화학펄프로 부터 제조한 종이의 광학적 성질을 검토하였다 펄프의 광학적 성질은 원료의 화학적 조성,섬유의 형태, 부위.화학적 처리정도, 원료의 저장기간 및 충전제의 첨가에 따라 크게 영향을 받았다. 장섬유와 낮은 리그닌함량을 가진 전간부 펄프시트는 불투명도가 낮았으며, 목질부 펄프로부터 상대적으로 밀도가 다소 높고, 불투명도도 높은 종이를 만들 수 있었다. 펄프원료의 저장기간이 백색도를 낮추었으며, 불투명도에는 그다지 영향하지 않았다. 약품전처리 및 표백이 백색도 및 불투명도에 크게 영향하였고, 특히 충전제 첨가로 광산란을 증가시켜 불투명도가 높은 종이를 제조할 수 있었다.6.   • Conflict minerals refer to minerals mined in conditions of armed conflict, especially as in the eastern provinces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The common conflict minerals are cassiterite, wolframite, coltan(columbite-tantalite ore), and gold, which are mined and extracted from the Eastern Congo. These minerals are essentially used in the manufacture of a variety of devices, including consumer electronics. To end the violent conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and in surrounding countries, it is necessary to block the supply route of conflict minerals which has been partially financed by the exploitation and trade of conflict minerals. The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, passed into law in July 2010 and it contains requirements that U.S. companies report to the Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) on the origin of conflict minerals and show due diligence of OECD. The goal of the act is to cut direct and indirect funding of armed groups engaged in conflict.

Development of a Frequency Dependent Type Apex Locator with Automatic Compensation (자동 보정 주파수 의존형 근관장 측정기의 개발)

  • Among the apex locators, the frequency dependent type is more accurate and convenient to use than others, But the accuracy of the apex locator is still influenced by the presence of various electrolytes used in root canal treatments. In this study, we have developed a frequency dependent electronic apex locator minimizing the influence of the electrolytes on the measurement of root canal lengths. It was also confirmed that two frequencies of 500Hz and 100kHz are optimal for the measuring impedance compare with commercial product used(400Hz and 8kHz)a and there were no differences in accuracy among the three different types of the waveforms; sinusoidal, triangular, and rectangular waves(p>0.05). Impedance ratio of the two different frequencies represents the position of the file in root canal, and the voltage difference of two signals represents the status of the fluid in the root canal. As a result of compensation using the voltage differences, the errors were decreased on the average from +0.54mm to +0.18mm in $H_2O_2$ solution (p<0.01), and from -0.33mm to -0.01mm in NaOCl solution(p<0.01). The accuracies based on ${\pm}$0.5mm, in $H_2O_2$ and NaOCl solutions were improved with the automatic compensation from 71.1% and 91.1% to 82.2% and 100% respectively.

  • Ubiquitous Web Services is able to be specified future Web Services technology for connecting with various application services in any device and network environments. The devices, in ubiquitous environment, have dynamic characteristic such as location and statuse. So, we must support methods of dynamic service discovery in ad-hoc network. There are many related works at transaction, security, QoS, semantic and Web Services composition with various fields. Recently, the studies are interested in the Ubiquitous by development of computing and network technology. However, they are an early stage. For this reason, in this paper, we propose a WSUN(Web Services on Universal Networks) for Ubiquitous Web Services. It is a SOA based framework. And this paper extracts necessity of WSUN environment from scenario. The framework is composed of US Broker(Universal Service Broker). It is designed for satisfying the conditions and supports dynamic service discovery using a US Registry (Universal Service Registry). Consequently. clients are able to discover and use Universal Service by protocol stack of the US Broker for Web Services. And it is a strong point which supports interoperability between heterogeneous networks.

Effect of Contact Position and Structure of Test Probe on Its Signal Transmission Characteristics (테스트 프로브 접점 위치와 구조의 신호 전달 특성 영향)

  • This study examined the effects of the contact position and structure of the test probe on its signal transmission characteristics. The contact position in the operating of the test probe was considered and then divided into the plunger inner contact and barrel inlet contact. The high frequency performance of the test probes was investigated for both contact positions. The signal transmission characteristics of the test probes with the structures of double, single, and out-spring was also analyzed. The insertion and return losses were calculated using the HFSS and the characteristic impedance of the test probes was analyzed using a Q3D simulation. The insertion loss of the barrel inlet contact was smaller than that of the plunger inner contact. The contact position of the test probe may result in a change in the high frequency performance. The out-spring probe has better frequency characteristics at -1 dB insertion loss and -10 dB return loss. The double probe and single probe have the same characteristic impedance with $30.8{\Omega}$. On the other hand, the out-spring probe has an impedance of $47.1{\Omega}$. The out-spring probe is closer to $50{\Omega}$ than the other probes and then shows higher signal transmission characteristics. The out-spring probe has superior high-frequency characteristics and is expected to be suitable for high-speed applications.

Moire Interferometry Measurement and Numerical Analysis for Hygroscopic Swelling of Al-Polymer Joint (Al-Polymer 접합체의 흡습팽창에 대한 모아레 간섭 측정 및 수치해석)

  • A simple method to evaluate the hygroscopic characteristics of polymer of microelectronic plastic package is suggested. To evaluate the characteristics, specimens were prepared, and the internally absorbed moisture masses were measured as a function of the absorbing time and calculated numerically. The hygroscopic pressure ratio was calculated by heat transfer analysis supported by commercial FEM code because the hygroscopic diffusion equation has the same form as the heat transfer equation. The moisture masses were then summed by the self developed code. The nonconductive polymers had quite different characteristics for the different lots, even though they were the same products. The absorbed moisture mass variations were calculated for several different characteristics, and the optimal curve of the mass variation close to experimental data was selected, whose solubility and diffusivity were affected by the hygroscopic characteristics of the material. The method can be useful in the industrial fields to quickly characterize the polymer material of the semiconductor package because the fast correspondence is normally required in industry. The weight changes in the aluminum-nonconductive-polymer joint due to moisture absorption were measured. The deformed system was also measured using the Moire Interferometry system and compared with the results of finite element analysis.

Benzo(a)pyrene Reduction in Sesame Oil Using Microwaving Method (Microwaving을 이용한 참기름의 Benzo(a)pyrene 저감화)

  • Sesame oil has superior oxidation stability and unique roasting flavor. Accordingly, this has been used for edible oil as well as a seasoning material for a long time in Korea. But sesame oil is a simple pressed oil, unrefined. During manufacturing process of roasting-expression, benzo(a)pyrene[B(a)P] formed as a strong carcinogenic substance causes a social problem. Detection of B(a)P in sesame oil was due to residual content in raw-sesame seeds and formation in roasting-expressing process. Especially, maximal forming process was roasting. Accordingly, in this study applied the traditional roasting method by roaster and microwaving method as a new type. Best roasting time by microwaving was for 5~10 min, B(a)P content in sesame oil was 0.53~0.79 ${\mu}g/kg$. These B(a)P contents showed 1/2 level than direct roasting method by roaster. As a result, B(a)P contents in sesame oil appeared the difference of more than 2 times according to roasting condition of sesame seed. For minimizing of B(a)P content in sesame oil is demanded roasting of sesame by microwaving than direct roasting by roaster.
