The charged broadcasting market has been becoming very competitive to get the limited media consumers since IPTV was introduced to the market. This research analyzed the competition among interactive broadcasting media. We employed the niche theory for comparing IPTV with Cable TV and Satellite TV, which are two major existing broadcasting media. For employing the niche theory, we focused on the gratification-opportunity features of the media caused by the consumers' gratification sought: ease of use, interactivity, variety of content, and economic feasibility. The results showed the extent to which media are utilized, the extent to which each pair of media are perceived as similar, and the competitive superiority between each pair of media on each dimensions. Finally, we examined the competition structure of IPTV and other broadcasting media, and proposed the competitive strategy for IPTV to get an advantages.

This study represents an attempt to forecast the increasingly complex and dynamic interplay between the transformation of media and collection management function in the networked environment. As the importance of electronic media rather than printed media is emphasized, there is a need to shift from the traditional collection management to content management for collection development strategy. In order to satisfy the needs of library users who have thirst for more various information, the traditional function of collection management has limitations. Therefore, we suggest that the future collection management must shift from the traditional collection management to content management.

최근 급속한 정보량의 증가와 함께 정보 통신 기술의 발달 및 인터넷의 보급의 확산에 따라 정보의 배포와 이응 방법도 크게 변화하고 있다. 즉, 기하급수적으로 증가하는 정보에 비해 산술적 증가 혹은 고정적인 공간 때문에 모든 도서관은 공간적인 문제에 직면하게 되었다. 과거로부터 정보커뮤니케이션, 특히 학문 연구분야의 주류매체로서 입지를 유지하였던 인쇄형 학술지는 연구활동의 가장 중요한 정보원으로써 연구자들의 연구동향과 함께 최신의 연구내용을 전달하는 매체이다. 도서관 및 정보센터는 학술지를 최대한 수집해야 하는데 학술지의 가격급등과 한정된 도서관 공간문제는 난제로 대두되고 있다. 이 연구는 국내외에서 이루어지고 있는 인쇄매체, 디지털매체에 담긴 학술정보자원의 아카이빙에 대한 연구동향 중 인쇄매체 또는 디지털매체로 학계에서 가장 활발하게 이용되고 있는 학술지를 디지털화하여 도서관 상호이용방식으로 서비스할 수 있는 방안을 고찰한 것이다.

This study analyzed the research trends concerning the use of smart devices by young children, such as smart phones, tablet PCs, interactive whiteboards and teacher assistant robots, which has begun to be mentioned relatively recently, and attempted to analyze the characteristics of the research trends and provide guidelines for the direction of future research. A search of articles related to the use of electronic media by young children using an Online Search DB revealed a total of 192 research papers, which were analyzed according to the subject of research, teaching-learning method, area of development and area of activity. It was found that the teaching-learning method, teacher education and professionalism were highly prevalent in the subject of research; the education method integrating play activity with literature activity were highly prevalent in the teaching-learning method; language development and social development were highly prevalent in the area of development; and language activity and social activity were highly prevalent in the area of activity.

Developing a home network and a ubiquitous infrastructure requires various communication techniques and devices with more advanced hardware. With this development, increasing realtime access to multimedia data results in rapid degradation of qualify for multimedia playback. This paper presents a traffic allocation technique based on MPP(Media Preference for Presentation) that can steadily maintain multimedia playback quality by adaptively allocating streaming traffic requested from clients with different playback performances. Media preference is defined in accordance with content popularity and playback performance of client devices. Through experiments when requested stream data exceeds processing ability of a midea server, the proposed allocation technique shows 10% quality improvement comparing to the system without applying the proposed allocation technique.

편리한 금융거래 수단으로써 인터넷뱅킹을 포함한 전자금융 서비스가 생활화 되었으며 그 중요성 또한 갈수록 증가하고 있다. 이에 대한 부작용으로서 사용자의 실수나 금융기관, 쇼핑몰, 포털 등의 해킹을 통한 전자금융 접근매체의 유출, 비정상적인 지불결제나 인터넷뱅킹 이체 사고 등 침해사고 또한 함께 증가하고 있다. 금융권은 금융감독원을 중심으로 전자금융 종합보안 대책 수립(2005년) 및 전자금융거래법 시행(2007년) 등을 통해 고객 PC의 해킹방지를 위한 다양한 보안프로그램 제공 의무화, 보안등급에 따른 이체한도 차등화, 금융권 통합 OTP 인증체계 구축 등 전자금융 침해사고 예방을 위한 적극적인 노력을 기울여오고 있으나, 최근 들어 피싱/파밍 등 신종 사이버사기 기법이나 해외의 전문 해커에 의해 개발된 고도의 지능화된 해킹툴이 사용되어 보안프로그램을 무력화시킨 후 고객정보를 유출해가거나 일반 포털사이트, 웹하드, 웹메일 등의 해킹을 통해 인터넷 사이트에 등록된 고객의 인터넷뱅킹 접근 매체를 유출하여 인터넷뱅킹 침해 사고를 일으키는 등의 신종 침해사고를 완벽히 차단하지는 못하고 있어, 더욱 강력한 전자금융 침해사고 예방 통제 방안의 수립과 함께 침해사고 발생 시 원인 파악 및 범인 검거를 위한 역추적 시스템의 구축 등 기존 보안체계를 대폭 강화할 필요성이 발생하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 시중 은행의 인터넷뱅킹 침해사고 발생 현황 조사를 중심으로 최근 발생한 전자금융 침해사고의 추이분석, 침해사고 주요 원인과 기존 대응 체계의 현황, 한계점 등을 파악하였다. 그리고 전자금융 침해사고의 효과적인 예방 및 대응 강화 방안으로서 사용자 관점에서 공인인증서를 중심으로 한 전자금융 접근매체의 관리 강화 방안을 제안하였으며, 전자금융 서비스를 제공하는 금융 기관 관점에서 효과적인 전자금융거래 로깅 및 역추적 시스템의 구축 및 전체 금융기관과 감독기관 간의 유기적인 공조를 기반으로 한 침해사고 공동 대응체계의 구축 및 운영을 위한 시스템의 구성 방법, 운영 프로세스, 관련 법률의 검토 및 대응 방법 등을 제안하였다.

일대다 형상을 갖는 통신시스템에서 많이 고려되는 예약 알로하 방식 매체접속제어 프로토콜의 성능은 예약 채널과 데이터 채널의 분배 양식에 의해 달라진다. 본 논문에서는 이 프로토콜을 직렬 2단 대기열 모델로 근사화하고, 데이터의 지연을 성능 척도로 하여 이를 줄이는 세가지 채널 할당 방식을 제시하였다. 그리고 이들에 대한 모의실험을 통해 그 동작 특성을 규명하고 성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과 이들의 성능은 트래픽의 특성, 특히 데이터 길이의 분산에 크게 의존하며, 일반적으로는 데이터에 우선권을 주는 방식이 우수하나, 데이터 길이의 분산이 큰 경우에는 비례배분 할당 방식이 우수한 것으로 평가되었다.

TPEG는 디지털방송 매체를 통해 교통 및 여행정보를 전송하는 표준 프로토콜로 이동환경에서 운전자들에게 실시간으로 교통정보를 제공할 수 있는 킬러 애플리케이션으로 기대를 모으고 있다. 교통정보를 데이터화해 지상파 DMB, DAB 등의 매체를 통해 이용자의 위치와 주변 정보를 실시간으로 전달하는 기술로 데이터의 부호화, 복호화 및 필터링 등 다양한 규격을 포함한다. TPEG는 DMB 등 휴대이동방송이 시작되면서 디지털 방송신호를 통해 개인 단말기에 멀티미디어 교통정보를 제공할 수 있어 최근 각광을 받고 있다. 본 고에서는 TPEG 서비스의 개요 및 개발현황, 사업자들의 TPEG 서비스 추진현황을 살펴보고, TPEG 서비스의 문제점 및 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.
