  • 그동안 고출력 레이저에는 CO2 Laser, LPSSL, DPSSL 등이 주로 사용되어 왔다. 최근에는 Fiber Laser가 좋은 빔특성을 가지면서 10㎾이상의 고출력이 가능해 큰 주목을 받고 있다. 고출력 레이저는 매질의 냉각문제가 가장 큰 관건인데, Fiber Laser는 수백 $\mu\textrm{m}$의 지름을 가진 수십m 길이의 공진기 형태를 띠어 부피 대비 냉각면적이 가장 크다고 할 수 있다. EDFA 등 광통신을 위해 개발되었던 다이오드 레이저들이 Fiber Laser쪽으로 전용되고, Side Cladding pumping 방법의 실용화, 다이오드 페이저 펌핑 광과 광섬유사이의 커플링 방법이 개발되면서 고출력 Fiber Laser 개발이 급속히 이루어졌다. (중략)

  • 본 논문에서는 최신 정지영상 압축표준인 JPEG2000에 이용되는 알고리즘인 이산 웨이블렛 변환(이하이산 웨이브릿 변환)을 위한 전용 하드웨어의 파이프라인 설계를 제안한다. 본 연구에서는 3-level 이산 웨이브릿 변환기를 효과적으로 설계하기 위해서 파이프라라인 기법으로 데이터의 처리속도를 개선하였다. Xilinx FPGA를 대상으로 한 실험 결과 면적은 약 24%증가된 반면에 throughput은 약 50%정도 향상되었다.

A Study on the Change of Exclusive Space for Balcony Expansion in an Apartment - Focused on an Apartment House below 85m2 of Exclusive Area- (아파트 발코니 확장에 따른 전용공간의 변화에 관한 연구 - 전용면적 85m2형 공동주택을 대상으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the structure and use change of the private space according to the balcony expansion and use it as the data of plan design. According to Bay, front length/width ratio and the change of balcony space before and after expansion of space organization of house units were analyzed. Common characteristics of Flat type and Tower type are an increase of the frontage length of house units in an apartment, an increase of the number of front bay, and an increase of integrated LDK focusing on living room. A difference is that Flat type shows high frontage ratio, Bay figure, and spatial arrangement favorable to front openness and lighting. Flat type shows higher area distribution than Tower type in LDK area distribution located in at the plane center. Spatial expandability and visual openness of Flat type are more beneficial than those of Tower type in the planning, and a balcony extension of house units has developed to direction to open more. Tower type creates various block images through a combination of house units focusing on the core. Uses after balcony expansion are area expansion of a balcony-neighboring room, storage space, expansion and function improvement of the variable range, and specialized space different from a neighboring room. In addition, there is no escapable space except for a shelter, so unit plan should be prepared to prevent using it other space of a shelter and to solve moving line of two-way horizontal refuge and vertical refuge.

  • We fabricated the effective $Cu_2S$/CdS solar cells with large area by a spray pyrolysis method. In preparation process, we investigated the process parameters which directly influenced the efficiency of solar cell, such as the grid contact for electrodes, the temperature condition of CdS spray and the junction characteristics of $Cu_2S$ layer, by scanning electron microscope(SEM), x-ray diffraction(XRD) and temperature dependent optical absorption and photoconductivity. The $Cu_2S$/CdS solar cell with area of 1$\textrm{cm}^2$ showed the efficient of 3.15% under air mass 2(AM2) spectrum irradiation with 75mW/$\textrm{cm}^2$.

Biomass Carbon Emissions according to Conversion of Forest Land in Korea (산지전용에 따른 우리나라의 임목바이오매스 탄소배출량)

  • This study was achieved by purpose to measure carbon emissions by conversion of forest land in Korea to correspond to UNFCCC. The conversion of forest land data extracted in forest basis statistical data during the latest 5 years from 2000 to 2004, and biomass carbon emissions used biomass extension factor by forest types and carbon conversion factor. During the latest 5 years, the forest land of the annual means about 7,200ha was conversed as other expenditure and tree volume of the annual mean about $212,000m^3$ was felled. It was calculated that total biomass carbon emissions by conversion of the forest land emits annual mean 105,000tC during the latest 5 years. Biomass carbon emissions by forest types was calculated that coniferous forest emits 54,000tC and deciduous forest emits 51,000tC. It was calculated that carbon emissions per ha by conversion of the forest land emits annual mean 14.4tC/ha during the latest 5 years. Seeing by forest types, coniferous forest emits 13.3tC/ha and deciduous forest emits 18.5tC/ha. Therefore, it was shown that deciduous forest emits more carbon per unit area than coniferous forest.

Evaluation of Permission Standards for Forest Land-use Conversion using Delphi Technique (델파이 기법을 활용한 산지전용허가기준의 적정성 평가)

  • Recently, it has been issued whether the current permission standards for forest land-use conversion is adequate or not. This study was aimed at evaluating the propriety of the current permission standards using the Delphi technique, which is one of survey techniques regarding experts's opinions. The results of the survey indicated that the standards related to the connection development restriction and the height of the first berm were underrated in most of the evaluation factors. The size limit and the altitude restriction of the land-use conversion also have a low propriety or applicability due to their vagueness. In case of average slope, its applicability was rated as significantly low because there is no standardized method for estimating or verifying the average slope. A statistical analysis based on coefficient of variation and one-way ANOVA were conducted to examine whether each group of experts agree with these survey results. It is appeared that the survey using Delphi technique could successfully achieved an agreement from each group of experts. Overall, evaluation factors considered in this study seems to be effective to verify the problems of each standards and to guide to improvement of the standards.

  • The purpose of this study was to contribute to planning and developing various new apartment unit plans of the future through examining the differences on the spatial behavioral patterns and the post-occupancy evaluation between DK-front type and DK-rear type. 245 households which were included 79 DK-front types and 166 DK-rear types, were collected and analyzed at Masan and Gimhae cities in Kyungnam area. The result is as follows: 1) The analysis of the spatial behavioral patterns revealed that Anbang was the room for the couple independent from guests and children. Living room was the family's room for every activity, used more frequently DK-front types than DK-rear types. The family lift cycles of households, the visual unification between Living room and DK, the closed figures of DK in DK-front types have been influenced for the activities of Living room. 2) In the post-occupancy evaluation, DK-front types were positive in the lighting of DK area and its connection with Living room, while negative in the proximity from entrance to DK, cooking convenience, and the proximity between rooms. It was explained clearly through the reasons of the rejection of DK-front types from now.

  • In Korea, most of the land area is composed of mountainous areas, making it difficult to develop airports because there is not enough open space to operate airports or airfields. However, the current development of the air transportation industry and the rapid increase of aviation demand, the construction of the training airfield infrastructure should be more actively reviewed for safe and smooth flight training. In this study, we analyze the actual condition of operation of domestic training airfield and the case study of overseas training site in order to establish appropriate level standard model of training infrastructures. In addition, this study suggests implications for the appropriate scale and operational efficiency of the training flight infrastructure.

Characteristics of Kitchen and Utility Space Plan in Recently Supplied Apartment Housing (최근 분양된 공동주택의 전용면적 규모에 따른 가사작업공간 계획특성)

  • This study was to identify the spatial and functional characteristics of kitchen and utility space plan in apartment housing. For this purpose, spatial arrangement and function of kitchen and utility space were analyzed according to the size of apartment unit. The results of this study were as follows; 1) The level of spatial separation among living room, dining room, and bedroom is higher in large-sized apartment. And diverse plans were applied for the kitchen of large-sized apartment. 2) To find out functional characteristics of kitchen space, furniture arrangement was analyzed. The I-type kitchen furniture is dominant for small-sized and medium-small apartment, and L-type furniture for medium-large and large sized apartment. 3) For most of the unit plans utility space is located on the balcony outside the kitchen. 4) Sub-kitchen and laundry are major function of utility space, but in case of balcony extention, the function of utility space is minimized. Recent plans for apartment housing shows various spatial arrangement and functions for kitchen and utility space.

An Analysis on the Characteristic of the Master-Zone Planning in the Apartment Building (공동주택의 부부 전용공간 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze space composition and size of the Master Zone in the apartment unit plan. For this, we analyzed 435 samples by searching web-sites of the 5 main construction companies. The major results of this study are as follows. 1) Master Zone is organized 4 spaces such as main room, bathroom and make-up & dress room. Six types of Master Zone are classified with the composition of 4 spaces. 2) The size of the Master Zone is increased in proportion to the square meter. But the range of the ratio is small range of fluctuation as 20%${\sim}$30%. 3)The size and ratio of the each spaces of the Master Zone are analyzed. The size of bedroom is increased but the ratio is decreased. The size of bathroom is increased but the ratio is regular as 4%${\sim}$5%. The size of make-up and dressing room is generally increased but the range of the size and ratio is the most extensive. Through this analysis and research, this study would be provied the basic data for actual housing planning and to contribute to future trends of apartment houses.
