This study was conducted to compare the perceptions of the park use status, importance, and satisfaction of users in the first implemented and completed Uijeongbu Jikdong Neighborhood Park among the private park special projects carried out as a countermeasure for long-term non-execution of urban parks. To this end, in the initiated project, apartment residents and non-residents were classified according to the promotion plan, and a questionnaire research on importance and satisfaction was conducted to analyze the park use status and IPA(importance-performance analysis). First, as a result of the analysis of the current situation in terms of locational characteristics that occur during the promotion of special projects for private parks, unlike the mountainous areas, the targeted site was close to flat land, indicating that users' satisfaction with the landscape was high. Second, the access of the apartment residents in the initiated project site was easy. Thus, the use rate of residents was relatively higher than that of the non-residents. Third, differences in perception by item were identified through the analysis of IPA and the establishment of strategies. In quadrant I, among the facilities and services, installing restrooms was the priority for residents, and parking facilities and rest facilities were the priority than installing restrooms for non-residents. In quadrant II, overall scores for residents and non-residents were similar, but the distance to the park was in quadrant III due to the low level of satisfaction among non-residents. In this study, the difference in perception between residents and non-residents may cause problems in access and facilities in managing the park in the future. Therefore, it would be necessary to find a way to improve it by establishing a management strategy that takes into account the difference in the perception of residents after construction. In addition, through the results of this study, it was judged that the purpose of park development, the selection of types of parks, and the selection of plans and management indicators for each kind would be significant in the promotion of initiated projects in the planning of park development.

With an increasing interest in the commercialization of research results in the present societal climate, especially in the construction industry, preliminary product analysis plays a critical role when introducing a new product to the market. It significantly influences the product's success or failure. In this context, this study aims to investigate the utility of Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) as a management strategy tool for preliminary analysis in the commercialization of new architectural technologies. The study specifically assesses a smart ball product engineered for pipeline inspection. The evaluation is carried out based on product quality, convenience, and usability categories. Seventeen factors are recognized as sub-items, and a survey is conducted among relevant experts and consumer groups. From the survey, four key items are chosen: "Keep up the good work," "Concentrate here," "Low priority," and "Possible overkill." Suitable strategic measures are derived for each item. By conducting a correlation analysis between product importance and performance, this study offers a method to establish priority directions for future development. This analysis assists in identifying areas that necessitate improvement or additional focus to increase the product's commercial potential. On the whole, this study contributes to understanding and applying Importance-Performance Analysis as a valuable tool in the preliminary analysis and commercialization of novel technologies in the field of architecture.

In recent years, Ubiquitous City (u-City), the integrated and convergence of ubiquitous services, infrastructure, technologies and city management of the new future development city, is being initiated by the Korean government and local authorities as their new national growth engine. However, a performance measurement system for evaluating and monitoring the impacts of U-City implementation is yet to be established. This paper aims to develop an integrated performance management system (PMS) and extensively used as a tool for managing performance activities to support the visions and goals of the u-City operations. Based on current reviews on the literature and interviews with experts drew Critical Success Factors (CSF) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) by four different measurement domains including U-City services, infrastructure, technologies, management and developed into an integrated performance measurement system based on the Balanced Scored Card (BSC) perspective. The system also provides number of examples of 'u-City Strategy Map' which illustrates a causal relationship between CSFs to execute u-City visions and goals.

Recently many companies began to feel the pressures of cost savings due to the global recession, so they have been interested in the Cloud Computing. Cloud Computing is one of using method of IT resources through the network. Users can borrow softwares or hardwares instead of buying them. Many people expect remarkable growth in Cloud Computing industry because of it's effectiveness. But Cloud Computing industry is still at an early stage. Especially, people who in the public sector hesitate to adopt Cloud Computing Services due to security issues and their conservative views. Also, they just have limited understanding, so we need to investigate what they really know and understand. Researches about the Cloud Computing generally focus on technical issues, so we can hardly find researches reference for decision making in considering the services. The study aims to investigate diverse factors for agencies' adoption decisions, such as benefits, costs, and risk in developing the most ideal type of cloud computing service for them, and performs priority analyses by applying ANP (Analytic Network Process). The results identify that features pertaining to the risk properties were considered the most significant factors. According to this research, the usage of private cloud computing services may prove to be appropriate for public environment in Korea. The study will hopefully provide the guideline to many governmental agencies and service providers, and assist the related authorities with cloud computing policy in coming up with the relevant regulations.

Flood inundation map has been used as a fundamental information in flood risk management. However, there are various sources of uncertainty in flood inundation mapping, which can be another risk in preventing damage from flood. Therefore, it is necessary to remove or reduce uncertainty sources to improve the accuracy of flood inundation maps. However, the entire removal of uncertainty source may be impossible and inefficient due to limitations of knowledge and finance. Sensitivity analysis of uncertainty sources allows an efficient flood risk management by considering various conditions in flood inundation mapping because an uncertainty source under different conditions may propagate in different ways. The objectives of this study are (1) to perform sensitivity analysis of uncertainty sources by different conditions on flood inundation map using the FOA method and (2) to find a major contributor to a propagated uncertainty in the flood inundation map in Flatrock at Columbus, U.S.A. Result of this study illustrates that an uncertainty in a variable is differently propagated to flood inundation map by combination with other uncertainty sources. Moreover, elevation error was found to be the most sensitive to uncertainty in the flood inundation map of the study reach.

R&D projects for land, infrastructure, and transportation is to identify challenges through academic-industrial demand survey, and to promote R&D projects through detailed planning projects. These R&D projects have been promoted to be applied to most domestic project-oriented. Despite continuous R&D investment, the investment has been promoted to the world top technology rather than to international construction projects. This study analyzed the international construction market trends and international construction contracts in order to promote technology development for enhancing international construction competitiveness. This study suggests three R&D technology development directions and ten research projects for expanding international construction projects.

The container ports have been increasingly changed according to the industry structure and differentiated customer's needs. So it seems to need the differentiated service strategies to have their competitiveness. To assess the customer requirements objectively, this paper associated the service process of container ports with the service quality scale by using the Quality Function Development(QFD). This paper analysed the service process of Busan port and then compared it with those of Shanghai port and Tokyo port which are the typical port of the northeast asia. Also, after drawing the importance of the service process as well as its priorities by representing the relation between service quality scale and processes of the container ports, this paper proposed the House of Quality(HOQ) for service quality improvements.

The purpose of this article is to propose the functions of the School Library Support Center of the Ulsan Metropolitan City. The findings are based on the 2009 and 2010 statistics of the school libraries in the Ulsan Metropolitan City, and a questionnaire survey that was conducted for teacher librarians and the class teachers who manage their school libraries without a Library Science degree. The proposed tasks of the School Library Support Center fall into two categories: administrative and practical. Administrative tasks include assigning teacher librarians to schools, expanding library resources, and establishing an integrated supervision system for both school libraries and student reading programs. Practical tasks include developing educational programs, informing library program providers to school, and public relations programs about the Center's services.

We examine several citation information services to analyze their functional items and resources as interests and concerns on citation information services have been increasing. Based on our analysis, we suggest a blueprint and model for national citation information services. As a result, We find that there are different service items and resources among the type of the citation information services. We also suggest three principles and personal services scenarios for developing national scholarly information service using citation information. And expert survey shows the priority of the services. This study would be a fundamental material for drawing big pictures on national citation information services.

This study is focused on analyzing the tourism social media channel importance of Trytoursumer. On the basis of previous studies, the factors were divided into tourism communication, tourism cooperation, tourism contents sharing, tourism entertainment. As a result of the empirical analysis using AHP, Analytic Hierarchy Process, tourism communication relatively appeared as the most important factor. And order showed that the high importance of such tourism content sharing, tourism entertainment, tourism cooperation. Also, there was the highest priority of social networking in the area of tourism communication among 14 types of total evaluation factors regarding priority, followed by social news in the area of tourism cooperation, and micro-blog in the area of tourism communication. Analysis result, may contribute to the increase of social media channels effectiveness and strategy of application in social media channel of Trytoursumer.
