The subjects in this study were 104 PA nurses. Data were collected from September 1, 2010 to January 10, 2011, and analyzed by SPSS PASW statistics 18.0 program. The mean score of men on the job stress was 43.47(${\pm}13.77$), The mean score of women was 45.07(${\pm}9.78$). The mean score of job satisfaction was 2.72(${\pm}0.30$). There was no statistical difference between general characteristics and job satisfaction. There were statistical difference between unmarried subjects and organizing system(p<.05), inadequate compensation(p<.01). In the results of multivariate regression analysis, adjusted $R^2$ value was 0.567. The model fit was 56.7%. Job satisfaction was low in the insufficient job control and inadequate organizing system. It is hospital policies for the reduction of job stress(particularly, insufficient job control, and organizing system stress).
This study aims to identify the degree of job stress related to COVID-19, emotional labor, empowerment, and retention intention of nurses in hospitals dedicated to infectious diseases, and confirmed the effect of job stress related to COVID-19, emotional labor, and empowerment on retention intention. The data collection of this study was conducted from August 27, 2021 to September 17, 2021 through a structured questionnaire targeting 162 nurses at an infectious disease hospital in S city. The data were analyzed analyzed using frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, and multiple linear regression using SPSS/WIN 25.0. As a result of analyzing differences according to general characteristics, retention intention showed a significant difference according to work department and work satisfaction. And as a result of analyzing the correlation between retention intention and COVID-19 related job stress, emotional labor, and empowerment, it showed a significant negative correlation (r=-0.215, p=0.006) with job stress related to COVID-19 and a significant positive correlation (r=0.343, p<0.001) with empowerment. As a result of multiple linear regression analysis, job satisfaction, job stress related to COVID-19, and empowerment were identified as significant variables affecting retention intention (F=23.751, p<0.001), and the explanatory power was 30.0%. Through the above results, we intend to provide basic data for strategic development for efficient nursing manpower management.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the validity of an educational program developed for geriatric visiting nurses in Seoul by assessing their satisfaction level and level of learning goal achievement. Methods: This descriptive research study was conducted to develop, implement, and evaluate the educational program in accordance with the ADDIE Instructional System Model. Participants were 170 nurses hired for the 2016 Seoul Metropolitan Government visiting service for older people. Based on Kirkpatrick's Training Evaluation Model, reaction and learning evaluations were conducted during and after the educational program. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: The developed educational program consisted of basic and professional courses. The evaluations showed that participants were highly satisfied with the lectures and field placement. Over 90% of the participants achieved the learning achievement goals. Conclusion: The program developed for geriatric visiting nurses in Seoul is considered a valid educational program because of the participants' high levels of satisfaction and academic achievement.
Purpose: This study attempted to estimate the need for home visiting nurse at public health centers. Methods: A model was generated to estimate a community's home visiting health service needs in 16 regions and a workload analysis was adopted to estimate the number of required Nurses. Data were collected from 16 public health centers using the South Korean government's open-information systems. Subjects were divided into three groups: vulnerable social group, bottom 10% income group, and bottom 20% income group. Results: The analysis revealed that 2,158 and 6,667 nurses were needed to provide home visiting health service for the bottom 10% and 20% income groups, respectively. It was estimated that for the vulnerable social group, 10,336 nurses were needed to provide home visiting health service, implying that the need-based demand for nurses is well over 5 times the number currently employed. Conclusion: The results indicate that the number of currently employed nurses is insufficient for the health management of vulnerable social groups. The government should consider active employment policies to encourage nurses to apply for home visiting health service.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the effect of educational nurse practitioners at comprehensive nursing care service units by comparing the educational satisfaction of general nurses and the occupational stress of preceptor nurses before and after education by educational nurse practitioners. Methods: Participants were 71 general nurses and 71 preceptor nurses working at comprehensive nursing care service units of G University hospital in I City. The level of educational satisfaction of general nurses and occupational stress of preceptor nurses were measured and compared. The differences in educational satisfaction and occupational stress before and after the education program were verified by paired t-test and one-way ANOVA using SPSS/WIN 27.0 statistical program. Differences before and after the education program according to the general characteristics were analyzed with repeated measure analysis of variance after Sapiro-Wilks normality test, and post-hoc analysis was conducted using Scheffétest. Results: It was inferred that there was a significant difference (t=-9.32, p<.001) in the educational satisfaction of general nurses, with an average of 3.72±0.77 before the education and 4.47±0.60 after the education. However, there was no significant difference in occupational stress in the preceptor nurses. Conclusion: It could be concluded that introduction of educational nurse practitioners at comprehensive nursing care service units has a positive effect on the educational satisfaction of general nurses. This result will serve as basic data to implement educational nurse practitioners for general nurses in all medical institutions as well as comprehensive nursing care service units.

Satisfaction, academic achievement, job adaptation, personal turnover within one year, and patient safety incident rate were investigated as performance indicators. Results: After the pilot project, the overall satisfaction among new nurses, preceptors, and fellow nurses increased, but there were no significant changes in academic achievement and job adaptation in new nurses. The personal turnover rate decreased from 15.6% to 9.1%, and the patient safety incident rate also decreased from 26.3% to 15.7%. Also, the preceptor overtime also decreased from 3.67 to 0.66 hours. Conclusion: The performance of the pilot project for the education nurse system was related to improvements in satisfaction, turnover rate of new nurses, patient safety incident rate, and preceptor overtime. Above all long-term monitoring of each performance indicator is necessary through the continuation of the education nurse system of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
