전남 고흥의 소록도는 그 섬의 아름다움보다, 한센병 환자들의 집단 거주지로서 더 유명하다. 1916년부터 이곳은 국내 한센병 환자들의 역사와 함께하였기 때문이다. 따라서, 그들에 대한 오해와 편견, 그리고 관심의 흔적들이 이 섬에는 그대로 남아있다. 2001년 11월 자원봉사자들의 숙식과 교육을 위한 센터가 완공되었으며, 무영건축은 설계와 감리를 담당하였다. 대규모 설계사무소에서는 좀처럼 진행하기 힘든 외딴 섬에 위치한 연면적 1,300㎡의 작은 건물이었지만, 자원봉사자들을 위한 건물을 만드는 일은 한센병 환자들에게 봉사하는 건축가의 사회적 역할이었다. 건축가의 작업은 마쳤으나 이제는 그들에 대한 이해와 관심을 모으는 일이 남아있으며, 이 글을 통하여 한센병과 소록도에 대한 이해를 도모하고 자원봉사센터의 건립과정을 소개하고자 한다.

한국전력공사에서는 전압원 인버터형 FACTS 기기인 UFPC를 전남 강진군 강진변전소에 설치하였다. 강진 UPFC는 한전과 (주)효성이 공동으로 투자하고, 지멘스와의 기술제휴를 통해 개발하였으며, 40MVA 병럴인버터, 40MVA 직렬인버터로 구성되어 총 80MVA 용량이다. 강진 UPFC는 GTO를 이용한 3레벨 인버터 모듈 20MVA 총 4대로 구성되어 있으며, STATCOM, SSSC, UPFC의 3가지 운전모드를 갖는다. 현재 병렬인버터는 강진 모선전압 제어, 직렬인버터는 강진-장흥간의 조류제어에 기여하며, 상용운전 중이다. 본 논문에서는 강진 UPFC의 운전결과 및 효과를 분석하였다.

위성영상을 이용한 해안선의 추출은 연안 지형의 변화감지의 조간대의 DEM 생성 등 지구과학적인 활용 외에도 지형도와 해도의 수정에도 활용될 수 있다. 바람이 세거나 파랑이 높을 때 돌아오는 레이다의 신호는 육지와 구별이 어렵고 또한 speckle 잡음으로 인하여 SAR를 이용한 해안선 추출은 광학자료에서 사용하는 thresholding 방법이나 간단한 edge detector 등의 방법을 적용하여 좋은 결과를 얻는데 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 SAR 자료를 이용하여 빠르고 정확하게 해안선을 추출할 수 있는 ratio에 기초한 해안선 추출 방법인 MSP-PoA(Maximum Stregth Edged Pruning Ratio of Average)을 경남 낙동강 하구지역의 인공해안선에 대해 적용하여 결과를 분석하였다. 그 결과는 매우 만족할 만 하나, 육지와 해수의 점이적인 특성을 나타내는 조간대가 분포하는 전남 곰소만 지역에서는 SAR intensity의 변화가 크지 않아서 만족할 만한 결과를 얻을 수 없었다. 이러한 지역에 대해서는 SAR의 위상정보를 이용하는 interferogram의 정확도를 정량적으로 평가하는데 사용되는 coherence map을 구하여 해안선을 추출하고자 한다.

객체 추적 및 모니터링 시스템에서 안개와 같은 환경적 불완전 요소는 비전 처리 성능에 많은 영향을 준다. 특히 안개는 빛의 산란과 흡수에 의한 감쇠로 탐지 영역내의 물체의 색상이 비슷해지고 채도가 매우 떨어지게 되어 객체의 형태를 구별하기 어려워진다. 따라서 실외에서 신뢰할 수 있는 비전 처리를 위해서는 안개와 같은 환경적 불완전 요소의 제거가 필수라 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze an effect for the resident satisfaction and quality of life against public administrative service to provide for community residents by the rural-urban consolidation community in the case of 3 cities (Sunchon, Gwangyang, Naju) that have consolidated since January 1995 and Yeosu city that has consolidated in March 1998. This study attempted to empirical survey and analyzed 270 number of 4 cities residents samples in Jeollanamdo through SPSSWIN. As a result of this factor analysis, equality of public administrative service, counterplan of residents, efficiency and access of administrative organ are showed as factors are associated with the satisfying degree of public administrative services for community residents.

Slopes of Seoseokdea~ Jangbuljae, at Mt. Moodeung, appears repeatedly the cliffs are mostly greater than $70^{\circ}$, and the planations maintain around $5^{\circ}$ in general. They studied the creation of development environments, cryoplanation are mainly facing the southwest. It is assumed that rock falling had been wostly occurred under a periglacial environment through jointing due to repeated freezing and thawing. Planation at the bottom of Columnar joint are described structural benches. Movement precesses of planation matrix are solifluction or jelifluction. The result of age determination of the slopes in Jangbuljae tells that the upper part of Ibseokdae has been remaining exposed to the land surface from 110,000 year ago. The blocks in the bottom part has been exposed to the surface around 10,000 year ago while Jangbuljae has been exposed to the surface about 50,000 year ago. It was assumed that they moved to the current location since being separated from columnar joint after exposure to the surface.

Along with hair beauty, skin beauty, and nail beauty, according to the rapidly changing social flow of industrialization and appearanceism, makeup is acting as an important means for successful social life and smooth human relationships. Accordingly, the realistic need to increase sales of the beauty industry by investigating individual preferred makeup colors from various angles is emerging. Therefore, the makeup interest and color preference according to the pursuit of appearance management were analyzed for women in their teens to 40s living in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do. As a result of the study, it was found that service workers, students, and teenagers and younger usually wear a lot of makeup. ) was found to be the most used. Through this study, I believe that it will be used as basic data for future makeup product development as well as application data for color selection by makeup artists as well as to increase sales of beauty shops.

This paper examined the settlement and evolution of the Namdo Food Festival holding in Nakan folk village since 1994. The Namdo Food Festival is a representative event tourism in Chonnam which beautifully displays Nakan eup-sung's folk landscape and Namdo's traditional food, a prime tourist resource. Since 1994, the Namdo Food Festival has steadily evoloved in the scale aspects of the program budget, and the number of visitors participating in festiva. In addition, the period of the food festival was fixed for a week, early in October. The majority of visitors to the festival was from Kwangju. Moreover, visitors from other provinces have steadily increased, in particular visitors from Yeongnam province such as Pusas and Kyeongnam provinces have increased since 1996. In order to settle down and develop the Namdo Food Festival, the followings should be done change of the ownership from public to private sector, training of professional entertainers, development of programs which can reinforce historical aspects and placeness of Nakan folk village, adoption of management technoques for the local economic activities, and extension of linkage with tourists places around Nakan folk village, reflection of tourists interests and needs through a continuoua tourist's behaviour analysis.

This study aims to localize the national policies of SMART education for regional educational development in Jeollanamdo province. To achieve the goal, this study analyzed the current status of ICT use in education in the province through a survey, interviews, and the existing relevant policies in national and international levels. The suggested policies were validated by experts from the field of education. As a result, 20 tasks in educational policies of 4 domains were suggested for the Jeollanamdo SMART education. Among them, the development of SMART educational models, building a professional development of teachers for successful implementation, and the development of online performance support system were prioritized for successful educational innovation for Jeollanamdo.

After holding the ICEXPO 2013, the Suncheon Bay Wetland Reserve and Suncheon Bay National Garden in Suncheon city are becoming a famous ecological tourist place in national wide. This study investigates the tourists behavior visited to the Suncheon Bay Wetland Reserve and Suncheon Bay National Garden. Data are collected from 540 tourists from April to October 2015. Results of the study showed that tourists living at Gwangju & Chonnam provinces are 38.4% of total; one-day tourists, 20~40 aging tourist group, and internet using for destination informations, accounts for about 75.2%, 72.6%, and 44.8% respectively, of total tourists; tourists' motivation and purpose are related to natural landscape watching and family travel; tourists satisfaction for destination are very high, and particularly in the spring; 30% of total in tourism expenditure amount per capita ranges from 50,000 to 100,000 won; mount of tourists expenditure are not so much.
