저전압 VDMOS의 ON-저항 모델 (An Advanced Model of on-Resistance for Low Voltage VDMOS Devices)

  • An advanced on-resistance model of VDMOS devices in the low voltage regimes is proposed and verified by 2-D device simulations. The model considers the lateral gaussian doping profiles in the channel region and exact current spreading angles in the epitaxial layer for both linear and cellular geometries by employing the conformal mapping, It is found out that the on-resistance of low voltage VDMOS may be overestimated considerably if it is analyzed by the conventional method. The 2-D device simulation results show that the proposed model is valid for the VDMOS devices in the low voltage regimes.

  • Low voltage circuit breakers which interrupt rapidly and raise the reliability of power supply are widly used in power distribution systems. In the paper, it was investigated how much Interrupting capability was improved by correcting the shape of the contact system in molded case circuit breaker(below MCCB), Prior to the interrupting testing, it was necessary for the optimum design to analyze magnetic forces on the contact system, generated by current and flux density. This paper presents both our compuational analysis and test results contact system in MCCB.

  • In this paper, we have developed the sandwich type digital actuator in order to improve the thrust of automatic moving device. Also it was analyzed by Finite Element Analysis(FEA) and Virtual Work Method. As a result of this paper, it was confirmed that the thrust characteristics of sandwich type digital actuator was improved considerably.

  • A simple design method of a single balanced MMIC mixer is described. It uses small signal S11 and capacitive load for the input matching circuit and the output loading circuit, respectively. It is found that the conversion gain of the FET mixer is independent of FET gate width. The fabricated mixer has 2.5 dB conversion gain at 9 GHz with 50 ohm IF load and 2 dBm local oscillator power.

  • SPM is MDC Processor for string pattern expressed in directional chain code. In this paper we consider the string pattern matching algorithm (Leve-nstein Algorithm) whitch is portion of Dynamic Programing, and propose architecture of SPM and simulate it on the R-T level to evaluate its architecture. We used the C language as the hardware description language, and developed it on the IBM PC/AT Zenix system V OS environment.

  • The paper proposes a class of discrete-time adaptive controller which may be applicable without sufficient a priori information. Against choices of the Information, GPC algorithm may seem to be more robust than any other methods reported, but it is the method based on Indirect approach. It is, therefore, reasonable to propose an algorithm via the zero-gain prediction, in which the control parameters are directly estimated and calculated.

  • The characteristics of dielectric absorption and dispersion in polymerized materials produced in Korea was investigated in MHz band and at several sets of temperature. For this study the theoretical basis stood on the Cole-Cole's empirical formula and it has been extended to the form convenient to investigate the observation. As the result, it has been confirmed that in most cases, two or much more sorts of dipole participate in dielectric propertics of these polymers and the materials containing aromatic molecular structure have, in general, greater loss angle than those constructed chain type molecular structure.

  • In this paper, with a view to study the impurity effect, Ge-Si-Te memory devices are investigated experimentally about the dependence of temperature and frequency. Conductivity depends upon temperature and frequency and it is some-what influenced by heat treatment. With increasing frequency, conductivity has a tendency to be independent of temperature. We found that switching time and threshold voltage are reduced by it.

송전선의 정전용량과 인덕턴스의 통일적 해석법 (A unified analysis method for capacitance and inductance of power transmission lines)

  • It is revealed that duality and similarity between both capacitance and inductance systems coexist, and also that the former is more efficient than the latter in application viewpoints in time-invariant linear cases as far as both systems are concerned. This paper, using the similarity relation, proposes a new magnetics capacity concept similar to electrostatic capacity so that inductance systems may be interpreted as the corresponding capacitance systems. The new concept makes it convenient to analyze the both systems by unified approach. Finally an example demonstrates the applicability and convenience of the proposed method, through the analysis of capacitances and inductances on the transposed transmission line.

  • An effect of the salt solution on the Water Tree Propagation was shown systematically from the actions of the salt concentration in deionized water. It may be able to suggest that the tree propagation is possibly to be connected with an intervention of the electrochemical or chemical actions of the salt solution on water tree propagation, which may likely depend on the growth level of the trees. We have pointed out that it is necessary to study the structure of water tree under the electrical stress.
