This study intends to compare the structure of contents and the way of developing concepts in mathematics textbooks of south and those of north Korea. After thorough investigations of the textbooks from south and north Korea, the following three characteristics were identified. First, the mathematics textbooks of south Korea tends to spread out contents across several grades, while those of north Korea have a tendency of centralization in terms of locating contents Second, in the textbooks of South Korea, mathematics concepts are permeated through real world situations, and students gradually acquire those concepts mostly through activities. This is different from the approach of the north Korean textbooks in which various problems play a key role in explaining concepts. Third, the main strategy of introducing contents in the textbooks of south and that of north Korea corresponds to 'guidance' and 'explanation' respectively. Exploratory questions leading to the concepts are more emphasized in the textbooks of south Korea, on the other hand, meaningful explanations play an important role in the textbooks of north Korea.

The aim of this paper is to examine the development of regional geography (including regional studies) in Germany since 1945 in the context of its traditions and changes. From 1945 to the end of 1960s, in spite of many hies of renovation regional geography has faced critics and fall into a serious crisis. After the 1970s many geographers intensively have searched for the new conception and broadly accepting methodological way of regional geography, and in the advent of 1980s regional geography is regarded as a special form of collecting and presenting spatial informations in terms of the addressee. But in the after-era of german unification and through the new establishment of the Institut for the Regional Geography in Leipzig, a discussion on the research aim and future of regional geography was resumed, and its future direction is open.

This article intends to discuss about the strategies and methods that the Korean library community should follow to make the ongoing experiment of 'bibliotherapy program' be successful, and eventually, settle up as a regular library service program. The main focus of discussion was on figuring out both theoretical foundations and historical roots that can justify such an experiment in Korean libraries. To the end, a comparative analysis to Readers' Advisory Services was conducted, and also done for comparing the special features in Korean libraries with those of American libraries, especially as related to library services to readers. The final suggestion includes the tasks that Korean LIS scholars should undertake to make the ongoing bibliotherapy experiment become an indigenous Korean model for library services.

'The Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007' 연방 법안이 2007년 12월 미국 의회 통과에 힘입어, 법안의 Title XIII에 포함된 '스마트그리드(Smart Grid)'는 다양한 연구 결과를 목표로 추진되고 있다. 스마트그리드는 IT를 기존 전력기술에 적용해 송전, 배전망을 지능형으로 만들자는 개념으로, 2003년 DOE가 발표한 2030년까지의 전력인프라 발전 계획인 '그리드2030(Grid2030)'의 실천 전략으로 볼 수도 있으며, 2008년부터 2020년까지 스마트그리드에 대한 연구개발, 시범사업 등을 국가 정책사업으로 추진한다는 내용을 담고 있다.[1] 이러한 장기간의 국책 사업들은 단기적으로 다양한 시범사업을 통하여 가상의 시뮬레이션이나 데모시스템 구현을 실시하여 교훈을 얻는 방식으로 진행된다. 시범 사업의 결과만으로는 유틸리티 전체의 전력망에 적용하는 것은 비용적인 측면에서나 안정적 전력 운영에 있어서 무리이기 때문에 연구 결과를 현재의 전력망과 조화롭게 점진적으로 배치시키는 과정과 상호 운용성 통합 과정이 필수적으로 따르게 된다. 본 논문에서는 스마트그리드 관련 국외 시범사업 및 관련 활동들을 살펴보고 IntelliGrid 프로그램에서 제시하는 자동화 아키텍쳐의 지능화시스템을 적용하기위한 현장 전개 방법을 고찰하고자 한다.

The concept of Regional Innovation System(RIS) has been developed with the accumulation of empirical research and the reflection on the political and economic environments. It is widely used as a nonnative concept to tackle the problem of regional disparities by enhancing regional innovative development. However, it seems that there is a gap between the theoretical framework of RIS and its actual application in reality. This paper attempts to extend our knowledge about RIS with critical viewpoint. It tries to unravel some values that RIS implies and its theoretical limitations, which were found through the evolution of RIS such as its theoretical roots, the development of its research and policy; and an example of its building in practice.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the concept of correlation in statistics, secondary mathematics textbooks, foreign mathematics textbooks in point of didactic transposition theory. It is investigated that the relevance and alternative ways of introducing correlation concept without correlation coefficient. In addition, we compare five Korean secondary textbooks and find out characteristics on didactic transposition of correlation. We end pedagogical implications of the analyses presented and general conclusions concerning the didactic transposition of correlation.

첨단교통관리시스템, 첨단교통정보시스템, 첨단대중교통시스템, 첨단화물운송시스템, 첨단차량 및 도로시스템으로 구성된 한국형 ITS는 적절히 설계, 전개, 운용된다면, 교통체증, 연료, 비용, 공해, 사고 등의 감소와 함께 운전자의 수행도 및 효율성의 향상을 꾀할 수 있다. 그러나, 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해서는 운전자 및 조작자의 새로운 기술과 시스템들에 대한 중요성 및 시스템의 통합이 중요한 요건으로 작용되며, 인간공학은 이러한 과정에 있어 운전자 및 시스템조작자의 물리적, 인지적 한계를 규명하고 이를 시스템 설계에 반영하는 설계 가이드라인 작성에서 실제 평가까지의 과정에 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 즉, TMC, AVHS 등의 시스템과 함께 주요한 차내 정보시스템인 항법장치, HUD, RDS-TMC등에 걸쳐 널리 적용되고 있으며, 인간공학은 각각의 시스템뿐만 아닌 전체 ITS의 성공적인 시장성 확보와 전개에도 중요한 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인으로 간주되고 있다. 또한, ISO TC 204 등에 의해 수용되고 있는 인간공학 표준화작업은 장차 ITS의 국제시장 진출 및 산업화를 위한 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 국내외 TS에서의 이간공학 적용 및 표준화 동향을 제시함으로써, 한국형 ITS의 인간공학 적용 및 표준화 연구를 위한 기반적인 내용의 제공과 함께, 국내의 연구 및 표준화 작업을 위한 방안을 제시한다.

본고의 목적은 선형 전자장 문제의 해를 구하기 위한 일반적이 절차에 대해 간단히 소개하고, 이것을 전자장 문제에 적용시켜 보는 것이다. 이것은 원시 함수 방정식이 행렬 방정식으로 유도되기 때문에, 이러한 과 정을 행렬 방법이라고도 한다. 수학적인 과정으로 행렬 방정식을 얻는 것을 모멘트 법이라고 한다. 종종 이런 과정을 근사 기법이라고도 한다. 그러나 이것은 해가 극한에서 수렴할때에는 틀린 명칭이다. 주어진 정확도를 위해서는 다른 해들과는 달리 계산시간이 많이 요구되는데, 예로 무한 멱급수 전개를 들 수 있다. 물론, 이 방법 은 정확하게 근사해를 구하는데 사용된다. 즉, 이 근사해는 극한에서 수렴하지 않는다. 모멘트 법은 전자장 문제를 다루기 위한 일반적인 절차이지만, 해를 구하는 과정은 특별한 문제에도 폭넓게 적용할 수 있다. 본고에서는 이 방법의 과정을 설명할 뿐만 아니라, 전자장 문제를 다루는 예를 들었다. 이런 예들을 가지고 유사한 문제의 해를 구할 수 있으며, 다른 유형의 문제들에 대해서는 적절하게 확장, 또 는 일부 수정을 하여 해를 구할 수 있다. 전자장 부분에서 예를 들었지만, 이 과정은 모든 종류의 전자장 문제에 적용할 수 있다.

The main stream of consumption about the products is tend to transfer from low price value with mass production, to the second value of products, such as pleasure, familiarity, humor, and metaphor. This second value is closely connected to a redundancy which are also related to modern science as well as product design. These terms such as matrials, identity, and gravitation, disappeared gradually, and these are substituted with an uncertainty principle, a fortuity, a contradictory concept, entropy etc. In sum this study focuses on the tendency of intelligency issue the recent design trends. This result shows that The 4th Column Thinking and Formation System which is related to an expansion and diversity of design intellectual ideas.

This paper describes a technique for detecting the boundary of the optic disk in digital image of the retina using inward and outward curve evolution. This paper offers medical information about glaucoma progresses. For accurate boundary detection, image inpainting based on texture synthesis removes blood vessels crossing the optic disk. For removing noises and preserving boundary of optic disk in image inpainting process, the anisotropic diffusion filtering is necessary. After pre-processing, the optic disk boundary is determined using inward and outward curve evolution. The experimental results show that the algorithm is effective for detection of optic disk boundary.
