This case study explored changes in resilience of North Korean defector adolescents who underwent supportive music psychotherapy that included song discussion and song writing. Participants were three adolescents who escaped from North Korea. Sixty-minute sessions were conducted twice a week over four weeks for a total of seven sessions. The sessions were constructed to enhance hardiness and goal-directedness and used the process of discussing song lyrics, writing original lyrics, and composing music to help the participants strengthen their inner resources and identify healthier and more adaptive strategies for living in South Korea. The resilience scale measured at pre- and post-intervention showed that all participants increased their total scores and subscores related to hardiness and goal-directedness. Also, observation and analysis of their behavior, verbal responses, and lyric writing during the sessions revealed that the participants engaged more in the song-based music therapy process as the sessions went on and also expressed more positive perceptions of their ability to manage challenges and stress. These results indicate that active engagement in decision-making related to creating lyrics and composing music helped the North Korean defector adolescents to perceive themselves as capable of coping with stressful situations and independently solving problems, which are important for enhancing resilience.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of sensory integrative intervention focused on proprioceptive-vestibular stimuli on adaptive response of children with sensory defensiveness. Methods : Subject of this study was a 6 years and 5 month old boy. The subject underwent a sensory integration (SI) treatment which was part of the SI treatment course administered by the Korean Sensory Integration Society, in 2011. The treatment goal and treatment plan had established based on the evaluation results. Treatment was done with 4 sessions and the adaptive responses of the subject were measured as outcome of the SI treatment. Results : During the SI treatment, the subject could participate in activities involving tactile stimulation without over-arousal. He also showed improved social interaction skills and his play was qualitatively extended. Conclusion : According to the results of this study, it was verified that sensory integrative intervention focused on proprioceptive-vestibular stimuli has positive effective on adaptive response for children with sensory defensiveness. For the future study, it is suggested to use standardized assessments in evaluation and provide information in changes of daily occupation as outcome data.

This study tries to examine the effect of parents' neglect on career identity, and prove the meditating effect of experience satisfaction and school adjustment between the two variables in the times of convergence. For the study, the data from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey was analyzed by utilizing the path analysis, and the number of subjects was 391 adolescents. The results are as follows: First, parents' neglect influenced negatively career identity. Second, experience satisfaction and school adjustment had a positive effect on experience satisfaction. Third, parents' neglect directly influenced career identity and its' effect was indirectly mediated by the subjects's experience satisfaction and school adjustment. Therefore, the result of the study can be utilized for theoretical implication and foundation for developing programs to increase career identity.

In this paper, we propose a new GPU-based framework for quickly calculating adaptive and continuous SDF(Signed distance fields), and examine cases related to rendering/collision processing using them. The quadtree constructed from the triangle mesh is transferred to the GPU memory, and the Euclidean distance to the triangle is processed in parallel for each thread by using it to find the shortest continuous distance without discontinuity in the adaptive grid space. In this process, it is shown through experiments that the cut-off view of the adaptive distance field, the distance value inquiry at a specific location, real-time raytracing, and collision handling can be performed quickly and efficiently. Using the proposed method, the adaptive sign distance field can be calculated quickly in about 1 second even on a high polygon mesh, so it is a method that can be fully utilized not only for rigid bodies but also for deformable bodies. It shows the stability of the algorithm through various experimental results whether it can accurately sample and represent distance values in various models.

This study aims to examine the effects of teachers' critical consciousness on their attribution of cause and responsibility about multicultural students' school violence victimization and their prediction on students' school adjustment. To this end, we presented four scenarios depicting multicultural students' school violence victimization and measured teachers' critical consciousness, cause and responsibility attribution, and school adjustment prediction. Results showed that teachers endorsing higher levels of Egalitarianism tended to attribute causes and responsibility to situational factors, rather than to a multicultural adolescent being victimized by school violence. The levels of Perceived Inequality of critical consciousness did not have significant effects on these variables. Also, teachers with a higher level of Egalitarianism tended to predict multicultural adolescents' school adjustment more negatively. Based on the current findings, we discussed implications on teacher education for promoting teachers' multicultural competence, along with limitations and directions for future research.

Recently, there has been growing interest in entrepreneurial universities. Accordingly, this study discussed the paradigm shift from traditional university roles to entrepreneurial universities and conducted case analysis of Oxford University, Stanford University and Berlin Institute of Technology from the perspective of ambidextrous strategies of universities. Universities are emphasizing the importance of academic capitalism through market activities as well as the educational and research-oriented role to adapt and survive the rapidly changing uncertain environment. Therefore, many studies related to this have been conducted. This paper discusses the background and necessity of the transformation from traditional universities to entrepreneurial universities, and applies the case of a university that has been successful in transforming into an entrepreneurial universities and creating excellent outcome in terms of ambidextrous strategy. Specifically, this study examined the structural, contextual, and leadership perspectives as a antecedents for ambidextrous strategy. This paper expects not only to introduce cases but also to be used as reference for adapting to future paradigm shifts to entrepreneurial universities and setting the direction of universities.

적응형 소프트웨어는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 핵심 분야로 홈 네트워크, 지능 로봇 등 다양한 분야에 응용이 가능하다. 하지만, 대부분의 연구가 적응형 소프트웨어의 요구사항이나 시나리오의 구체화를 위한 비전을 제시하거나, 응용 구현의 사례를 보임으로써 실현 가능성을 확인하는데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 본 연구에서는 동적인 재구성이 가능한 규칙 기반으로 동작할 수 있기 때문에 진화가 가능하며, 상태에 기반하여 행위를 판단하는 RASC 프레임워크를 제안한다. 기존 서비스 조합의 개념을 실현하기 위해 중개자를 이용하였으며, 변이와 교차와 같은 유전 알고리즘 연산을 쉽게 적용할 수 있도록 RASC 도메인을 정의하였다. RASC 프레임워크는 블랙보드 아키텍처를 기반으로 규칙을 공유하며, 서비스와 서비스 조합체 모두 자극-반응 모델을 따르고 자기유사성을 가지는 일종의 복잡계를 구성한다.

As the substantial increment in program complexity and appearance of mega program, the programs need to be divided to small tasks with multiple partitions and performed with a priority based scheduling. And also, a program development has to be progressed according to diversify of development environment. For instance, there are some restrictions upon O/S environment such as embedded O/S or windows. Therefore, the adaptive scheduling technique which performs multiple task partitioning process, regardless environment or O/S, is suggested. In this study, In this study, the adaptive scheduling technique algorithm and its applied examples are described.

We analyze respondents' reaction to Obama's advertisement, titled 'Fix the Economy'. These respondents are divided into three groups of democratic party, republican party and independent group. By manipulating the skin complexion of the Obama photo, participants were either exposed to the dark or light version of the Obama photograph. In order to obtain decorrelated stationary data, we have applied the discrete Fourier transform to each curve and then we have applied Fan (1998)'s adaptive Neyman test to the discrete Fourier transformed data. As a result, a significant difference is found out only in the independent group.

R&D 기획은 연구 개발 전주기에 있어 수행, 평가에 앞서 필수적으로 선행되어야 하는 행위이다. 그렇지만, 아직까지 R&D 기획에서 무엇을 다루어야 하는지에 대한 원칙, 사례만 존재하고 이를 통합 시스템화하지 못하고 있어, 대부분의 연구자들은 논문, 특허, 웹을 포함한 다양한 자원들로부터 정보를 수집, 취합, 분석하는 데 많은 시간을 뺏기고 있는 형편이다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해서 본 연구 이전에 시맨틱 기술과 텍스트 마이닝 기술을 이용하여 R&D 전략 수립을 지원하고자 InSciTe, InSciTe Advanced 등이 개발되었지만, R&D 기획이라는 궁극적 목적 내에서도 사용자마다 다양한 시나리오들을 분별하여 지원하기에는 어려움이 많았다. 이에 본 연구는 사용자 적응적 가이드 방식을 통합적으로 적용하여 실시간으로 변화하는 사용자 관심을 파악하고, 대표적 시나리오들에 맞추어 사용자가 목적을 효과적으로 달성할 수 있도록 지원하는 데 초점을 맞추고자 한다. 먼저 사용자 적응적 가이드 방식의 R&D 기획 시스템 구축을 위해 필요한 요구 사항들과 이들을 효과적으로 시스템에 반영하기 위한 온톨로지, 웹 서비스 중심의 설계 원칙들을 제시함으로써 R&D 기획뿐만 아니라 타 분야에서도 유연하게 적용할 수 있는 기반을 제공한다.
