The purpose of this research is to find out how the characteristics of healthy lifestyle and wine selection influence each other, and how healthy life and wine selection themselves influence the overall satisfaction of wine. The data collected for this study was taken from a sample of 285 persons during the period of August 29, 2013 to September 29, 2013. Extrapolating from the data, three different characteristics of a healthy lifestyle were identified: health confidence, health sensibility and a desire for good health. Three different characteristics of wine selection were also identified: wine label, wine experience and wine recommendation. The relations of influence between healthy lifestyle and wine selecting attributes were analysed through canonical correlation and regression analysis. This report concludes that healthy lifestyle and wine selection strongly influence each other and their combination has a significant influence on the satisfaction of wine. Among the different healthy lifestyle characteristics identified, the desire for good health was the primary factor that significantly influenced wine satisfaction. With regard to wine selection, the label of wine and experience of wine were the primary factors that significantly influenced wine satisfaction.

This study developed an adaptive instruction system for individual learning. We applied Gregorc's learning style to support the adaption. This proposed Instruction system provides instruction content based on a more effective instruction method that takes into consideration the learner's individual learning style. We applied Gregorc's learning style to create a clear treatment of differing learning styles. Proposed adaptive instruction system was applied to college students studying computer learning. A t-test indicated that our proposed adaptive instruction system resulted in positive effects in an overall style comparison. In addition, our Abstract-Sequential learning style indicated the most effective results while the Abstract-Random learning style indicated no difference between the experimental and comparative groups in each style analysis for Gregorc's learning style.
Recently, dewatering process method of high water content materials that utilize geotextile has many applications in variety fields. It is method of dewatering to solid step through self-weight consolidation process after pour sludge using filtering efficiency and dewatering efficiency. Analyzed application of domestic manufactured geotextile tube that can examine physical characteristics of geotextile tube and filling soil and achieve filtering efficiency and dewatering efficiency. Based on the various laboratory and field test results mixing proportions of water and soil is about 6:4 at least. Polypropylene geotextile is more effective for drainage and dewatering function of geotextile tube application.
As the presence of background noise in acoustic signal degrades the performance of speech or acoustic event recognition, it is still challenging to extract noise-robust acoustic features from noisy signal. In this paper, we propose a combined structure of Wasserstein Generative Adversarial Network (WGAN) and MultiTask AutoEncoder (MTAE) as deep learning architecture that integrates the strength of MTAE and WGAN respectively such that it estimates not only noise but also speech features from noisy acoustic source. The proposed MTAE-WGAN structure is used to estimate speech signal and the residual noise by employing a gradient penalty and a weight initialization method for Leaky Rectified Linear Unit (LReLU) and Parametric ReLU (PReLU). The proposed MTAE-WGAN structure with the adopted gradient penalty loss function enhances the speech features and subsequently achieve substantial Phoneme Error Rate (PER) improvements over the stand-alone Deep Denoising Autoencoder (DDAE), MTAE, Redundant Convolutional Encoder-Decoder (R-CED) and Recurrent MTAE (RMTAE) models for robust speech recognition.

Network services, such as teleconferencing, remote diagnostics and education, and CSCW require multicasting. Multicast routing methods can be divided into two categories. One is the shortest path tree method and the other is the minimal Steiner tree method. The latter has an advantage over the former in that only one Steiner tree is needed for a group. However, finding a minimal Steiner tree is an NP-complete problem and it is necessary to find an efficient heuristic algorithm. In this paper, we present an evolutionary optimization method for finding minimal Steiner trees without sacrificing too much computational efforts. In particular, we describe a tree-based genetic encoding scheme which is in sharp constast with binary string representations usually adopted in convetional genetic algorithms. Experiments have been performed to show that the presented method can find optimal Steiner trees for given vetwork configurations. Comparitivie studies have shown that the evolutionary method finds on average a better solution than other conventional heustric algorithms.
With the growth of the Korean Wave and the importance of the fandom economy, it is necessary to consider the competitiveness of the Korean Wave with its fandom viewpoint. Particularly, the fandom phenomenon shows the characteristics of identifying the favorite star and actively acquiring and sharing related information in the fan community. Therefore, in this study, we examined the influence of Korean national image on consumers' intention to use Korean contents, and examined the mediating effects of fandom identification among Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese consumers. As a result of the empirical analysis, cultural image, corporate image, and product image were found to have statistically significant influence on the intention to use Korean Wave contents. In addition, star identification and pan community identification showed partial mediation in the effect of cultural images on the intention to use Korean contents. The results of this study suggest that the Korean Wave is a leading factor for the continuous development of Korean Wave, not the halo effect point for improving the national image, and the mediating effect of the fandom phenomenon is tested empirically.
This study aims to propose the directions of design strategies and product development by analyzing the style types and design features of sneakers using the knitted upper which has been rapidly increasing due to merits in a variety of aspects including goods, production and marketing aspects. To this end, this study analyzed total 924 style types which had been gaining popularity in online markets and brand products drawing attention in the sneaker market with the knitted upper and their design features. In accordance with the analysis results, uniqueness was identified as the first merit. The unique hybrid style and design of sneakers with the knitted upper have been established without complying with the conventional materials and production techniques. The next merit was multimodality. The sneakers with the knitted upper create multiple images highlighting each feature of colors and materials by mixing those elements in various ways. The third merit was experimentality. The sneakers with the knitted upper have been attempted decisive change of designs by combining more engineering approach and new materials and techniques than existing sneakers. In these days when the sneaker market has been gradually expanded, the analysis results of this study reflecting the industrial trends will provide the fundamental data for a variety of research activities related to shoes and for the direction of brand planning in the relevant industries.

Osteoporosis is characterized by a reduction in bone mass and typically manifests as an increase in fractures. Because this disease is common in elderly populations and lifespans are rapidly increasing, the incidence of osteoporosis has also grown. Most drugs currently used for osteoporosis treatment target osteoclasts in the bone tissue to prevent absorption. However, these medications also cause certain side effects and, furthermore, cannot increase bone mass. Thus, in order to control osteoporosis, regenerative medicine that utilizes adult stem cells and osteoblasts has been extensively studied. Statins, also known as 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase inhibitors, are cholesterol-lowering drugs that have been widely prescribed for cardiovascular diseases. Interestingly, recent studies have reported the beneficial effects of various statins on bone formation via the activation of osteoblasts. Thus, the current study investigated the effects of seven statin-family drugs on osteoblast activity during osteogenic differentiation using adult stem cells from human periosteal tissue. Specifically, statin effects on alkaline phosphatase activity, an early marker of bone cell differentiation, and on calcium deposit, a late marker of bone cell differentiation, were assessed. The results demonstrate that some statins (for example, pitavastatin and pravastatin) have a weak but positive effect on bone formation, and the findings therefore suggest that statin treatments can be a novel modulator for osteogenic differentiation and regenerative medicine using periosteal stem cells.

This study was designed to analyze the social and institutional problems that may arise in the early 2000s of the United States and in the scholarship program for university student-athletes by analyzing Dialogues in the Film [The Blind Side] and to derive the meaning of this to Korean society and education field. In summary, the first is that there is a need for fundamental change in the thinking about gender discrimination and racist expressions expressed in everyday life including a Sport field not only in the United states but also in Korean society. Second, the Korea University Sports Federation(KUSF), like NCAA, is working on the right to study and human rights of university athletes, but in the commercialism of modern sports related to the capitalism, these systems and regulations could be a bigger obstacle to the process of growing young players. And finally, like the case of "Flower-loving Ferdinand" who having a lot in common with the main character, Michael in the Film, I hope that there will be a "Sports Ferdinand" that likes the sport itself, which is fully satisfied with its life and lives happily even if it is not a sports star.
