University lifelong education for the fashion company employees (패션기업 재직자를 위한 평생교육으로서의 패션교육)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the key decision-making variables that lead fashion company employees to participate in the fashion education programs offered by university lifelong education centers. This study also examined the education satisfaction level and preferred education method and evaluated a university lifelong education program by surveying a fashion company employees who completed a fashion education program. As decision making variables, this study included participation purposes, obstacles, and evaluation criteria. While questionnaires were used to identify the decision making variables, education satisfaction level, and preferred education method, focus group interviews were used to evaluate the university lifelong education program. The findings showed that the respondents enrolled in the program mostly because of personal motivations and considered the workload and time limitation as participating obstacles. They considered educational content as the most important evaluation criteria for participating in the program and were highly satisfied with the program they completed. This study suggests how university lifelong education centers may structure their fashion education programs to better appeal to the employees of fashion companies.

The Relationship between Organizational Justice and Service Quality, and Moderating Effects of Sex and Tenure (조직공정성과 서비스품질의 관계 및 성, 재직기간의 조절효과)

  • Greenberg(1990) suggested that organizational justice research may potentially explain many organizational behavior outcome variables. One example of nontraditional job behavior is service quality, for it is part of the spontaneous and innovative behaviors noted by Katz(1964). The first purpose of this research is to test the effects of organizational justice on service quality, and the second purpose is to test the moderating effects of sex and tenure on the relationships between organizational justice and service quality According to statistical analysis, only interactional justice had an impact on service quality. Also the results of moderating regression analysis showed that short term employees were more sensitive to distributive justice than long term employees. This result means short term employees are more interested In incentive system than long term employees.

  • 이 대담 시리즈는 학교도서관에 대한 도서관계 안팎의 관심을 높이고 현단계 학교도서관 운동이 나아갈 길을 모색해보려는 취지에서 시도된 것이다. 과거 학교도서관 운동을 주도하였거나 오랫동안 학교도서관 현장을 지켜온 인물들을 찾아 그들의 경험과 의식 속에 쌓여 있는 역사를 끌어내어 오늘을 비추어 보고 내일을 전망하는 계기로 삼을 것이다. 이번 대담에서 만난 사람은 우리 나라 학교도서관 운동의 초창기에 많은 활동을 한 조재후 선생이다. 선생은 부산중, 경남여고, 부산고 등에서 10년간 (1953-1963) 사서교사로 활동하면서 학교도서관 운동의 지평을 넓히는데 크게 기여하였으며 부산시 교육위원회 연구사 및 장학사(1963-1972), 문교부 중앙 시청 각교육원 연구관(1972-1973), 문교부 장학관 (1973-1975), 서울시 동부 교육구청장(1980-1982) 등으로 활동하셨다. 또한 영등포중, 혜화여고, 용산공고, 경기상고 등에서 교장으로 재직하시고 정년퇴임후 현재 서울 정화여자상업고등학교 교장으로 재직하고 계신다. 대담 일시 : 1998년 5월 2일 오전9시 30분 - 오전 11시 30분 대담 장소 : 서울 정화여상 교장실

Relationships among Grit, Job Satisfaction, and the Intention to Stay of Clinical Nurses in Korea (임상간호사의 그릿, 직무만족도와 재직의도와의 관계)

  • Purpose: This descriptive study aimed to identify the relationships among grit, job satisfaction, and the intention to stay of clinical nurses in Korea. Method: Data collected from a total of 239 experienced nurses in four general hospitals of the Jeolla province. The t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's Correlation Coefficient were performed using the IBM SPSS/WIN 21. Results: There were positive correlations between the grit and job satisfaction of the nurses (r=.31, p<.001), between their grit and intention to stay (r=.25, p<.001), and between their job satisfaction and intention to stay (r=.49, p<.001). Conclusion: Developing and adapting educational programs to enhance the grit enthusiasm, and patience can contribute to increasing the intention to stay of nurses in hospitals.

Structural Equation Modeling of Retention Intention in Nurses (간호사의 재직의도 구조모형)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the structural equation modeling of retention intention in nurses. Methods: A total of 210 nurses from three hospitals in B city, South Korea participated in this study. A structural equation model was constructed to verify the fitness of this model. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 21.0 programs. Results: The hypothetical model appeared to fit the data. Three of the selected six hypotheses for the hypothetical model were statistically significant. The retention intention model showed significant direct effects for job crafting and job demands and indirect effects for relation oriented culture, which explained 28% of the variation in nurses' retention intention. Conclusion: We found that nurses' job crafting behavior and job demands had significant influences on retention intention and relation oriented culture which affected by the factors job crafting.

직역연금 간 합산 제도의 연계 제도로의 전환에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구는 직역연금 간 이동자의 연금수급권 확보를 위해 도입된 합산 제도의 문제점을 파악하고 이를 해소하기 위한 대안을 제시한다. 합산은 2015년의 연금법 개정으로 연금수급조건이 10년으로 하향 조정되어 그 실효성이 크게 약화되었다. 무엇보다 합산 기간에 대해 최종적으로 연금을 지급하는 직역연금에 재정적으로 불리하여 직역연금 간 재정부담의 형평성의 문제를 야기시킨다. 합산 시 납부하는 합산반납금 또는 수급자였던 자가 합산하는 경우 이체 받는 연금액은 연금지급을 위한 충분한 재원이 되지 못하기 때문이다. 또한 합산은 연금액 이체 시의 정산과 같은 비효율적 업무 혹은 관련 법령의 불완비성에 의해 제기되는 민원과 소송의 원인이 되기도 하는 상황이다. 이에 본 연구는 직역연금 간 합산은 연계로 전환하도록 제도 개선이 필요함을 주장한다. 연계를 통해 연금수급권 확보라는 합산의 도입 취지를 훼손하지 않으면서 합산의 문제점을 해소할 수 있기 때문이다. 그 구체적 방법으로 현재의 국민연금과 직역연금 간의 연계 제도를 확대하여 공적연금 간의 연계 제도로 확대할 것을 제시한다. 이 경우 기존의 법 제도와 정보연계시스템을 활용함으로써 직역연금 간의 연계 제도를 위한 많은 수고와 노력을 줄일 수 있다.

Analysis of Factors Influencing the Intent to Stay among Military Hospital Nurses (군 병원 간호사의 재직의도에 미치는 영향요인 분석)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to determine the effects of grit, nursing work environment, and job esteem on the intent to stay among military hospital nurses. Methods: This study employed a descriptive cross-sectional design. Data were collected from February 7 to 18, 2022 from 232 nurses working at four military hospitals under the Armed Forces Medical Command. The analysis was conducted using the SPSS/WIN 26.0 program, and descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson coefficient correlations, and multiple regression analysis were performed. Results: Factors affecting the intent to stay included job esteem (β=.44, p<.001), total clinical experience of more than 10 years (β=.24, p=.001), and nursing work environment (β=.17, p=.009). Conclusion: The results can be used to ensure personnel quality at military medical institutions and can contribute to improving patient safety and medical services. Further, nursing managers need to formulate and implement strategies to foster a positive nursing work environment.
