  • To reduce labor market discrimination, there are lively discussions about the role of extant labor regime based on labor unions. It includes both the critical perspective on extant labor movement and the necessity of new actors for resolving discriminations within labor market. Among new actors, the present study focuses on contingent labor centers. Specifically, we have investigated on the development and identity of contingent labor centers as coalition of local government-labor organization. The core content of this study is to reconstruct the activities and strategies of contingent labor centers throughout the longitudinal approach. From many evidences, we can confirm that contingent labor centers have evolved via three phases such as differentiation, de- politicizing, and networks. This finding also provides insights about inside relationships between contingent labor centers and outside tensions between contingent labor center and extant labor organizations. We finally discuss on the theoretical implications of contingent labor center as new actor for contingent worker movement.

  • The purpose of this study is to design an organizational model to improve the operation of the Gimhae Municipal Library through diagnosis and analysis of its organization. For this purpose, a new organizational model for the Library was designed while reconstruction of the human resource of each unit library was proposed according to the reorganization through research methods such as literature research, case study, FGI survey, etc. The organizational model was eventually designed with three alternatives: an organization for integration of related tasks, one for enhancement of policy function and finally one for improvement of administrative efficiency. We have found that it is the most empirical to measure required number of personnel by 'comparison of benchmarked local governments' method as a result of calculating the required number of staffs of the Library based on macro and micro approach; thus the appropriate number of staff of each unit library was worked out.

  • The goal of this paper is to analyze the vocabularies and cases related to Kimchi as a cultural history. For this purpose, we extract the vocabularies of Kimchi from the records of Korean Literary Collection in Classical Chinese, Annals of the Choson Dynasty, Records of Daily Reflection, and Diary of the Royal Secretariat. The existing literatures related to Kimchi are confined to some cookbooks, but in this study, we attempt to overcome the existing limitations and adopt a comprehensive and systematic approach. The classic literatures of the Choson Dynasty are mainly recorded in traditional Chinese characters; therefore, the readability is poor, and it is presupposed that a lot of time and effort will be needed for the translation work after securing the data. Therefore, we performed this research with a focus on this part. Next, we tried to reconstruct the archetype of Kimchi culture in the Choson Dynasty by classifying the above materials according to the subject and literature sources.

  • If the operating system's core file contains an Intel PT, the debugger can not only check the program state at the time of the crash, but can also reconfigure the control flow that caused the crash. We can also extend the execution trace scope to the entire system to debug kernel panics and other system hangs. The second-generation PT, the WinIPT library, includes an Intel PT driver with additional code to run process and core-specific traces through the IOCTL and registry mechanisms provided by Windows 10 (RS5). In other words, the PT trace information, which was limited access only by the first generation PT, can be executed by process and core by the IOCTL and registry mechanism provided by the operating system in the second generation PT. In this paper, we compare and describe methods for collecting, storing, decoding and detecting malicious codes of data packets in a window environment using 1/2 generation PT.

  • Railway Station in Korea built for purpose to plunder resource and invade China 19 and 20 century early, It functioned as main transportation and important role in local history. However, Since the late 1990s, Railway Station in Korea is facing major changes due to Railroad Improvement and Restructuring plan. Photography is useful way to represent memory and local history about railway station, but Photography Documentation on railroad station were not discussed until now due to indifference of the KORAIL and peculiarities of national security facilities for a long time. This study suggest what is document activities and facilities of railway station, use value analysis about railway station's value firstly. next, this study set each documentation area with value analysis for a basis and present concrete example. finally, this study adapt documentation area and detail to classification scheme and apply activities and facilities of supplement or revision to classification scheme.

  • The purpose of this study is to present measures to enhance non-face-to-face communication platform services by measuring the user experience elements of major videoconferencing platforms in the non-face-to-face era. As a method of research, the platform of Zoom and MS Teams was selected, and the factors affecting the user experience were evaluated in combination with task and Think Aloud, and seven Honeycomb models of Peter Mobil were reconstructed to be analyzed through surveys and in-depth interviews for each paragraph. Studies have shown that Zoom has high usability, usability, accessibility and searchability, and MS Teams have excellent attractiveness. Therefore, based on the results of this study, the guidelines for video conferencing platform services and the improvement of the interface were presented. Based on this study, we hope that the usability of videoconferencing will be improved, and that various related studies will proceed as follow-up studies.

  • Phylogenetic reconstruction based on one locus or a few loci can be misleading due to gene-tree/species-tree discordance. Species delimitation and intraspecific studies also often suffered from low resolution because of insufficient statistic power when few loci were used. Exon capture method is one of the most efficient way to collect genome-scale data, which can significantly augment studies that aimed to investigate patterns and histories of organisms at both intraspecific and high level. Here, I showed the advancement of shifting from single-gene method to genomic approach and the benefit of applying exon capture method comparing to alternative genomic techniques. Then, I explained the principle of exon capture method as well as providing detailed recommendations for applying this method. Finally, I demonstrated exon capture method using two applications and discussed future perspectives of this technology.

  • The purpose of this research is to present about a series of processes for 3D model generation from scan data of two types of Korean styled architectures, namely, a pavilion and a house, which were acquired with the terrestrial LiDAR and evaluate a 3D surveying method to document digitally the traditional buildings, cultural properties, archeological sites, etc. Since most ancient buildings and cultural assets which require digital documentation by the terrestrial laser scanner usually need to acquire data from multi-directions. Therefore this paper suggested a process of acquiring and integrating data from mult-stations around the object. Also we presented a way for reconstructing automatically at once both the interior and exterior surfaces of buildings from laser scan data.

  • This paper proposes a microcode-based neural network accelerator controller for artificial intelligence accelerators that can be reconstructed using a programmable architecture and provide the advantages of low-power and ultra-small chip size. In order for the target accelerator to support various neural network models, the neural network model can be converted into microcode through microcode compiler and mounted on accelerator to control the operators of the accelerator such as datapath and memory access. While the proposed controller and accelerator can run various CNN models, in this paper, we tested them using the YOLOv2-Tiny CNN model. Using a system clock of 200 MHz, the Controller and accelerator achieved an inference time of 137.9 ms/image for VOC 2012 dataset to detect object, 99.5ms/image for mask detection dataset to detect wearing mask. When implementing an accelerator equipped with the proposed controller as a silicon chip, the gate count is 618,388, which corresponds to 65.5% reduction in chip area compared with an accelerator employing a CPU-based controller (RISC-V).

  • Teacher interventions in science classrooms are important because they can have a major impact on students' practices. This study qualitatively analyzed what kinds of utterances teachers used to intervene in students' practices of constructing scientific explanations. Two elementary school teachers, L and K, participated in the study, and their lessons in the sixth-grade science unit, 'Structure and Function of Plants' were reorganized for students to engage in the scientific practice of constructing explanations. In each lesson, the two teachers were asked to support students' practices as part of responsive teaching. The results of the study showed that the two teachers mainly utilized empathetic and disciplinary utterances, respectively, which were used to support emotional, processual, and conceptual aspects of students' scientific practices. The empathetic utterances were employed to support students' practices in the order of noticing, actively accepting, and offering alternatives. By contrast, the disciplinary utterances were used in the order of finding deficiencies, evaluating, and urging to improve students' practices. The reasons the teachers made use of empathetic and disciplinary utterances, respectively, were discussed, and implications for science education were suggested.
