도시계획과 환경정책의 경우 장기적인 고려가 필요하므로 도시기본계획과 환경보존계획을 주기적으로 수립해야만 한다. 특히 환경보존계획의 경우 환경속성정보의 분석은 물론 환경공간분석을 통해 대상영역에 대한 환경관력 공간분석이 필요하다. 그러나 환경관련자료가 분산되어 있어 데이터베이스구축이 불편하다. 본 연구에서는 환경공간분석자료구축을 위한 데이터 소스를 정리하고 효율적은 구축방법과 함께 개선방향을 제시하고자 한다.

The archives preservation chamber is an equipment that is able to store important archives with air-cleaning and isothermal-isohumidity control functions to permanently store archives in a highly safe environment. The chamber can only store small amounts of archives but it is crucial for organizations preserving archives to economically store a variety of archives, be it a medium or a small amount of documents. An arm of this study researches the current preservation status of the local record center to determine the need for such a chamber. In addition, in order to improve the air-cleaning and isothermal-isohumidity functions, the researchers of this study have conducted analyses to design the core parts. The preservation chamber that had been designed includes an archives preservation area, air-cleaning equipment, and environment measurement equipment. A preservation chamber is used to preserve small amounts of important archives safely. Thus, when a local record center is preserving various types of archives in small or medium quantities in a stack room, the preservation chamber can be used to aid their long-term preservation.

In this study, we analyzed the current situation of court libraries and aimed to propose a future-oriented strategy for preserving and managing their collections. Based on literature and status analysis, the study presents the future preservation strategy of court library collections in three main categories: First, securing space for the long-term preservation of court library collections; second, establishing a system for collecting and preserving court library collections; and third, performing digital archiving for the permanent preservation and utilization of court records, valuable legal volumes, administrative materials, and other judiciary-specific resources. Through this, court libraries, including those in various courts, should resolve the issue of insufficient collection storage space, preserve holdings systematically and efficiently, and activate library use.

The underground space which has been highlighted anew in view of urban scenery and environmental conservation through the control of ground development and solution of urban problems through making the utility of urban space efficient can promote the urban service, amenity, stability and others by arranging the urban function of ground area to the underground which is anticipated to be demanding the more in the future an also can be effective measures of confrontation in the solution of traffic, the complex in the heart of the city and lack of land through effective construction of the structure of urban space. But it has been understood to be extremely negative space at this time as limited to negative and fragmentary development and it has faced the necessity of constructing pleasant environment by overcoming every problem. After all, through the general research of underground space, this dissertation is reconsidering the development value of environmental design on the basis of the case study in international city development of underground space, and trying to extract design factors which should be treated in developing the underground space by establishing the evaluation model on the functional, techinical and behavioral elements factors.

This study has been peformed to investigate storage space types of old-fashioned traditional dwelling units where older couples maintain their traditional farming lives. In this study it is observed that residents of the traditional farm-houses are exposed to higher level of environmental and emotional pressures. However it is also observed that the older residents are generally manifesting a consistent subculture of the old-timers without noticeable complaints. The usage and morphology of storage spaces are as follows: (1) Storage space in the ceiling are under control of old couple and used for seasonally varied farm products and household equipment. (3) All the households use longterm storage space under wooden floor; the hidden ground is used for keeping miscellaneous tools and fermented foods for years. Overall in this stud it is observed that traditional farm houses are well modified for physically and emotionally frail elderly residents.

Academic research libraries are seeking a long-term preservation plan for journals for cost-effective stewardship. The emergence of shared print archives has given the library community the opportunity to resolve the problem of the lack of library storage and build a collaborative long-term archiving plan for the print journals. The purpose of this study is to examine Western Regional Storage Trust(WEST), the largest print journal archiving program in North America, and identify their strategies for building a distributed, retrospective print repository service for journals. Based on the analysis, this article will discuss the development of new trends of collaborative library management in a digital age.

Liquid nitrogen storage is the most effective way to preserve many fungi including what cannot be lyophilized. The use of polypropylene straws instead of cryotubes has many advantages in economy, safety, convenience, and space-saving. We, Korean Agricultural Culture Collection (KACC), established the fungal preservation methods in liquid nitrogen using polypropylene drinking straws and introduced the methods in detail.

Recent efforts to systematically transfer older materials from local library collections to preserve in a cooperative preservation facility, such as regional main library, are being made in each region. The study, in this regard, sheds light the regional preservation program, as it identifies status of preservation in local libraries and analyze the opinions of librarians in order to illustrate the planning process of regional preservation program. Based on the data about preservation status of public library in Busan metro area, the study focused on the strategies to operate a cooperative preservation program for public libraries. Specifically, 1) it investigates the preservation status of public library in Busan area and the librarians' opinion on a cooperative preservation facility in Busan library. 2) It adds a proposal composed with a materials transfer strategy and a space management program.

The purpose of this study is to explore the establishment and administrative strategies for shared repositories for academic libraries in Korea, using the US ReCAP (Research Collections and Preservation Consortium) Project as a case study. The US ReCAP Project was a collaboration between the New York Public Library and the university libraries of Columbia University, Harvard University, and Princeton University. In-depth interviews were conducted with librarians and administrators in charge of the ReCAP Project to understand the original vision of the project, as well as how the strategy and approach evolved over the years. The analysis results revealed that shared repositories for libraries have evolved into shared collections enabling shared use. But shared repositories require a central management system to be successful in the long-term. Additionally, findings showed that the shared repository filled more quickly than anticipated. This in turn required collaborative planning on shared collection development and selection policies to determine which materials to send to the shared repository.

Trying to estimate variations of the riverbed is basic and important for river management. When new dam constructed in upstream and a structure were planned, impact of the riverbed changes in downstream should be considered for stably maintained and sustained rivers in the future. In this study, long-term riverbed changes analyzed using aerial photographs in Naeseongcheon. Also applying one-dimensional numerical model, GSTARS analyzed the effects of bed deformation in critical points. Based on Changing Patterns of long-term riverbed, it is possible that after the dam was built, to explore how to manage Naeseongcheon.
