Mediation and Moderation Effects of Organizational Citizenship Behavior between Nursing Performance and Turnover Intention (간호업무수행과 이직의도 간의 관계에서 조직시민행동의 조절 및 매개효과 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating and moderating effects of organizational citizenship behavior on the relationship between nursing performance and turnover intention. Data were collected from 439 nurses in 3 tertiary hospitals and 2 secondary hospitals and analyzed by PASW 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The findings were as follows. The correlation coefficients of the study variables were all statistically significant. The organizational citizenship behavior showed mediating effects between the nursing performance and turnover intention. On the other hand, organizational citizenship behavior did not have moderating effects. Various strategies that are purposed to enhancing organizational citizenship behavior among nurses should be developed to reduce turnover intention of nurse who have high nursing performance.

  • The atomization of barley tea concentrate with paint spray gun of two fluid nozzle was investigated. The physical properties of barley tea concentrate were correlated to the operating parameters; soluble solid concentration, viscosity, specific gravity and surface tension. The air to liquid feed ratios at various barley tea concentration were correlated to the air pressures applied. The diameters of sprays at various air pressures (from 164 mmHg to 564 mmHg) and soluble solid concentrations (from 3.1% to 25.2%) were also investigated.

A Study on Reinforcement Method of Concrete Block for Direct Fixation Tracks on Serviced Light Rail Transit (공용중인 경전철 직결 궤도 콘크리트 도상블록의 보강 방안 연구)

  • In this study, numerical analysis was performed based on field investigation to derive an appropriate reinforcement method by analyzing the displacement behavior characteristics of concrete blocks generated in the direct fixation track on the bridges of the serviced light rail transit. The track of this study was a direct fixation track on a sharp curved track, and the problem of movement of the concrete blocks installed on the bridge deck in the longitudinal and lateral directions occurred. In this study, based on the finite element model using 3D solid elements, the behavior of the direct fixation track that could be occurred under operating load conditions was analyzed. In addition, the reinforcement effect of various reinforcement methods was analyzed. As a result of analyzing the lateral displacement before and after reinforcement, it was analyzed that the maximum lateral displacement after reinforcement under the extreme lateral wheel loads significantly decreased to about 3% (about 0.1mm) compared to before reinforcement. In addition, as a result of examining the generated stress of the filling mortar, bridge decks, and reinforcing bar, it was analyzed that all of them secured a sufficient safety factor of 2.6 or higher, and the optimal conditions for the reinforcement method were derived. Therefore, it is judged that the number of anchoring reinforcements and symmetrical anchor placement reviewed in this study will be effective in controlling the occurrence of lateral displacement of concrete blocks and securing the structural integrity of bridges and concrete blocks.

Effect of Cassia tora L. Powder Added-Diets on the Accumulation of Cadmium in Rat (결명자 첨가식이가 흰쥐의 체내 카드뮴 축적에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of raw Cassia tora L. powder added-diets on reducing cadmium accumulation in rats. The experimental animals were Sprague-Dawley family(♂, 4 weeks) which was classified into normal group CN, compared group CS, Cd-added group Cl and groups C2, C3, C4 in which 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5% of the Cassia tora L. powder are added, respectively. The growth rate and food efficiency ratio, and the amounts of accumulated cadmium in rats for S weeks were measured and analyzed. The results are as follows; 1. The rates of weight gain decreased in the order of C3>C2>C4>Cn>Cs>Cl groups, and Cl group to which only cadmium water had been fed was the lowest among them. The correlation between groups Cl and C3 was significantly different at the 1% level. 2. Food efficiency ratio(FER) decreased in the order of C3>C2>Cs>Cn>C4>Cl, and the FERs of C3, C2, CS, CN and C4 are greater than that of Cl by 22.87, 19.59, 18.54, 14.20 and 13.17%, respectively. 3. As for the Cassia tora L. powder-added groups, the amounts of cadmium accumulated in organs and tissues, that is, the brain, heart, spleen, liver, lungs, testicles. kidney, femoral muscle and leg bones were 0.45 $\pm$ 0.04 to 0.83$\pm$0.04, 1.68$\pm$0.02 to 2.16$\pm$0.02, 3.26$\pm$0.05 to 4.62$\pm$0.27, 37.52$\pm$0.09 to 47.71$\pm$0.73, 1.07$\pm$0.10 to 1.66$\pm$0.04, 1.04$\pm$0.06 to 1.24$\pm$0.08, 36.79$\pm$0.20 to 39.61 $\pm$0.53, 0.87$\pm$0.02 to 1.00$\pm$0.02 and 0.65$\pm$0.17 to 1.27 $\pm$ 0.06 $\mu\textrm{g}$/g, respectively. 4. The accumulated Cd content for C4 was the lowest among Cassia tora L. powder-added groups. When the results for C4 are compared with those for Cl, it is observed that each cadmium content accumulated in the brain, heart spleen, liver, lungs, testicles, kidney. femoral muscle and leg bones is dropped by 49.03, 22.56, 36.02, 35.75, 41.75, 36.20, 37.00, 22.77 and 56.67 %, respectively. Investigation for the deformation behavior of the precast arch structure in the open-cut tunnel (개착식 터널 프리캐스트 아치 구조물의 변형 거동 연구)

  • The behavior of the 3 hinged precast arch structure was investigated by comparing field measurements with numerical analyses performed for precast lining arch structures, which are widely used for the open-cut tunnel. According to the field measurements, the maximum vertical displacement occurred at the crown with upward displacements during the backfilling up to the crown of the arch and downward displacements at the backfill height above the crown. The final crown displacement was 19 mm upward from the original position. The horizontal displacement at the sidewall, which had a maximum horizontal displacement, occurred inward of the arch when compacting the backfill up to the crown and returned to the original position after completing the backfill construction. According to the analysis of displacement measurements, economical design is expected to be possible for precast arch structures compared to rigid concrete structures due to ground-structure interactions. Duncan model gave good results for the estimation of displacements and deformed shape of the tunnel according to the numerical analyses comparing with field measurements. The earth pressure coefficients calculated from the numerical analyses were 0.4 and 0.7 for the left and the right side of the tunnel respectively, which are agreed well with the eccentric load acting on the tunnel due to topographical condition and actual field measurements.

  • Non-contacting capacitive sensors, based on principle of the cross capacitor, for measuring small displacement less than $1.95{\pm}0.5\;mm$ have been fabricated and characterized. To overcome disadvantages of the existed capacitive sensors with 2-electrodes and 3-electrodes, the new sensor is consisted of 4-electrodes which are formed two electrode(high, low) and 2 guard electrodes on a sapphire plate with diameter 17 mm and thickness 0.7 mm, and are symmetrically situated with a constant gap of 0.2 mm between the electrodes. This sensor can be used for measuring both metallic and non-metallic target without ground connection, and is evaluated to the correlation coefficient of 0.9987 for the range of $1.95{\pm}0.5\;mm$ and that of 0.9995 for $1.95{\pm}0.25\;mm$ range.

Monitoring of Extraction Yields and Functional Properties of Ginger (Zingiber officinale) Extracts Using Response Surface Methodology (반응표면분석을 이용한 생강의 추출효율 및 기능성에 대한 모니터링)

  • Extraction characteristics of ginger (Zingiber officinale) and the functional properties of the corresponding extracts were monitored by the response surface methodology (RSM). The maximum extraction yield of 38.83% was obtained under the specific extraction conditions, such as microwave power of 126.68 W, ethanol concentration of 53.39% and extraction time of 8.15 min. The maximum electron donating ability (EDA) was found as 77.92% at the conditions of 58.25 W microwave power, 91.87% ethanol concentration and 5.54 min extraction time. The maximum inhibitory effect on tyrosinase was 79.39% at 106.08 W, 2.06% and 5.61 min. The maximum polyphenol content was 105.59% under the extraction conditions of 81.82 W, 99.52% and 4.06 min. Based on superimposition of four dimensional RSM with respect to extraction yield and electron donating ability and polyphenol content obtained under the various extraction conditions, the optimum ranges of extraction conditions were found to be microwave power of $0{\sim}80\;W$, ethanol concentration of $0{\sim}40%$ and extraction time of $3{\sim}7$ min.

  • Metabasites and metapelites in the Mungyong area were intruded by Cretaceous granites with radius of 4-8 km. As the distance from granite body increases, the mineral assemblage of metabasite changes from amphibole + plagioclase through amphibole + plagioclase + epidote to amphibole + plagioclase + epidote + chlorite. The compositional variations of amphibole and plagioclase according to the change of metamorphic grade and bulk rock compositions are very complex. Towards the Mungyong Cretaceous granite body, the mineral assemblage of metapelite changes from chlorite+ muscovite(ch1orite zone) through biotite + chlorite + muscovite(biotite zone) to andalusite+biotite + muscovite${\pm}$chlorite or cordierite+ biotite+ muscovite${\pm}$chlorite(cordierite zone). The estimated metamorphic conditions of cordierite zone are 480~$580^{\circ}C$ 1.5-3.3 kb. The theoretical study on the thermal metamorphism caused by the Cretaceous granite with radius longer than 4 km in the Mungyong area suggests the followings: The degree of metamorphism is mainly determined not by the size of granite body but by the temperature of granite intrusion; The country rocks within 2 km from Cretaceous granite have undergone metamorphism with temperature higher than $500^{\circ}C$, which is consistent with the petrological study in the Mungyong area. Mungyong Cretaceous granite caused a low P/T thermal metamorphism to the country rocks; the amphibolite facies metamorphism to the country rocks within 1-2 km from the granite body and the epidote-amphibolite and greenschist facies metamorphism to the country rocks within 2-5 km.

  • The hop yield prediction model developed based on meteorological elements in Hoeongseong was Y=6,042.846-17.665 $X_1$-0.919 $X_2$-96.538 $X_3$-138.105 $X_4$+86.910 $X_{5}$$X_{6}$ with MS $E_{p}$ of 25.258, $R_{p}$$^{2}$ of 0.9991, R $a_{p}$$^{2}$ of 0.9962 and $C_{p}$ of 7.00.   • In this paper, a clock-data recovery using a 1/8-rate phase detector is proposed. The use of a conventional full or half-rate phase detector requires relatively higher frequency of a recovered clock, which is a burden on the design of a sampling circuit and a VCO. In this paper, a 1/8-rate phase detector is used to lower the frequency of the recovered clock and a linear equalizer is used as a input circuit of a phase detector to reduce the jitter of the recovered clock. A test chip fabricated in a 0.13-${\mu}m$ CMOS process is measured at 1.5-GHz for a 3-Gb/s PRBS input and 1.2-V power supply.
