A Function Level Static Offloading Scheme for Saving Energy of Mobile Devices in Mobile Cloud Computing (모바일 클라우드 컴퓨팅에서 모바일 기기의 에너지 절약을 위한 함수 수준 정적 오프로딩 기법)

  • Mobile cloud computing is a technology that uses cloud services to overcome resource constrains of a mobile device, and it applies the computation offloading scheme to transfer a portion of a task which should be executed from a mobile device to the cloud. If the communication cost of the computation offloading is less than the computation cost of a mobile device, the mobile device commits a certain task to the cloud. The previous cost analysis models, which were used for separating functions running on a mobile device and functions transferring to the cloud, only considered the amount of data transfer and response time as the offloading cost. In this paper, we proposed a new task partitioning scheme that considers the frequency of function calls and data synchronization, during the cost estimation of the computation offloading. We also verified the energy efficiency of the proposed scheme by using experimental results.

국내 원자력발전소 인적오류사례의 추이 분석

  • 국내 원자력발전소의 발전정지사례에 대해 원전 종사원이 분석한 자료를 수록하여 발간하는 원자력발전소 발전정지사례집을 이용하여 인적오류가 개입된 것으로 판단된 총77건의 불시정지 사례를 추출하여, 인적오류 저감의 우선순위가 높은 원자력발전소 작업분야를 도출하기 위한 분 석을 수행하였다. 이를 이하여, 먼저 인적오류가 개입된 발전소 계통, 인적오유 발생시의 작업상 황 및 작업유형, 그리고인적오류의 유형에 대한 분류체계를 작성하였다. 발전소 근무 경험을 바 탕으로 사례별로 발전정지에 가장 직접적인 영향을 미친 작업행위를 구분하고, 이 행위에 대해 작성된 분류체계의 해당항목을 판정하였다. 이 사례별 분석결과를 이용하여 발전소 계통, 작업상 황, 작업유형, 오류유형 등, 4가지 항목에 대하여 오류발생의 추이를 분석하였으며, 또한 발전소 계통과 작업상황, 계통과 작업유형, 작업상황과 작업유형, 작업유형과 오류유형 등, 항목간 오류 발생 연관성을 조사하였다. 이 결과로 인적오류의 발생률이 높은 발전소 계통, 작업상황, 작업유형 및 오류유형이 구분되었다.

Sonar System Application for detection of underwater work space boundary using seabed type underwater equipments (착저형 수중장비를 이용한 수중작업 시 작업경계면 인식을 위한 소나시스템 활용법)

  • The detection of an underwater work space boundary is very important when an underwater construction is carried out using seabed type underwater equipment, such as underwater machines for rubble mound leveling, because it can induce industrial disasters. Therefore, divers are needed to mark the underwater work space boundary. A nylon rope is used to improve the convenience during an underwater diver's work. The results showed that the work space boundary can be detected using a sonar system. Using these results, an efficient method to detect the underwater work space boundary can be obtained when an underwater construction is carried out using seabed type underwater equipment.

The Analysis of Professional Education Needs for the Competencies of Occupational Therapists in Cognitive Rehabilitation: Focusing on the Professors in Occupational Therapy Departments of Universities/Colleges in Korea (작업치료사의 인지재활 직무역량에 대한 교육요구도 분석: 국내 대학 작업치료(학)과 교수자를 중심으로)

  • Objective : This study aims to identify the status of education in cognitive rehabilitation (CR) in occupational therapy departments of Korean universities/colleges and to analyze the educational needs for professional competencies. Methods : This study was conducted by distributing a questionnaire to professors. The questionnaire extracted items related to professional competencies from the results of a previous Delphi study. A total of 39 respondents from 32 (51.6%) of 62 universities/colleges were analyzed. The questionnaire analysis was conducted using Excel 2010 and SPSS 18.0 to analyze the Borich requirements and the priority of education through the Locus for focus model. Results : The priority of competency in CR was followed by "clinical reasoning ability to explain cognitive problems from the occupational performance perspective", "ability to manage insurance billing for CR", "ability to establish a CR plan based on outcome evaluation", "ability to perform occupation-oriented CR", and "ability to solve problems that occur during CR evaluation and intervention". In the Locus for focus model, items such as occupation-based cognitive assessment, intervention, and skills for documentation were high priorities for education. Conclusion : This study is expected to reflect educational competencies for CR and establish a plan for CR specialists through continuing education.

  • PPC stands for the percentage of weekly assignments completed. It makes it possible to improve the performance of production planning and control systems. Recently, the cases of PPC application have been increasing because PPC is easy to apply to construction site. However, to evaluate the average of PPC or analyze PPC as time passes has some problem ; if PPC is the same, the average it is evaluated equally although there are variabilities in production system. Therefore, In order to evaluate the character of PPC in process of production this paper suggests the method of the evaluating PPC by using coefficient of variability besides PPC measurement.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate factors affecting work performance among systems librarians in Korean academic libraries. The factors were divided in three categories: Job characteristics, organizational characteristics, and individual characteristics. Data from questionnaire were analyzed using the SPSS for windows. Multiple regression analyses were performed on three sets of variables related to the hypotheses of the study. The result of the analysis Identified the folowing factors : Job characteristics which affect work performance among systems librarians in academic library are autonomy, task significance, skill variety, and feedback from supervision. Organizational characteristics which affect work performance are job security, capability of automation systems, coworkers. Individual characteristics which affect work performance are growth need strength, knowledge, and systems librarian experience.

  • 기계요약의 사실 불일치는 생성된 요약이 원문과 다른 사실 정보를 전달하는 현상이며, 특히 개체명이 잘못 사용되었을 때 기계요약의 신뢰성을 크게 훼손한다. 개체명의 수정을 위해서는 두 가지 작업을 수행해야한다. 먼저 요약 내 각 개체명이 올바르게 쓰였는지 판별을 해야하며, 이후 잘못된 개체명을 맞게 고치는 작업이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 두 가지 작업 모두 각 개체명을 문맥적으로 이해함으로써 해결할 수 있다고 가정하고, 이에 따라 두 작업에 대한 다중 작업 학습 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법을 통해 학습한 모델은 생성된 기계요약에 대한 후처리 교정을 수행할 수 있다. 제안 모델을 평가하기 위해 강제적으로 개체명을 훼손시킨 요약데이터와 기계 요약 데이터에 대해서 성능을 평가 하였으며, 다른 개체명 수정 모델과 비교하였다. 제안모델은 개체명 수준에서 92.9%의 교정 정확도를 달성했으며, KoBART 요약모델이 만든 기계요약의 사실 정확도 4.88% 포인트 향상시켰다.

  • This study aimed to develop and verify the smart human resource management (HRM) program in a large scale greenhouse. HRM program delivers detailed work orders to workers and gathers work results by mobile phone application. Greenhouse managers can monitor the workload, work speed, quality of employee by HRM program and can analyse performance easily. Greenhouse Managers can set the work speed including 'twisting', 'trimming' and 'harvesting' in a greenhouse. It makes planning work schedule and assigns resources to each specific job easier. Therefore, the manager can arrange the number of employees to promote work performance and also easy to estimate the labor shortage. Greenhouse managers can evaluate the adequacy of the number of employees through job performance analysis by period and adjusts the supply/demand ratio of regular and non-regular employees. The HRM program can improve work efficiency by announcing the real-time work performance of all employees on a monitor screen to induce competition among workers and re-educate unripe employees who accomplish behind average to improving work skills.

  • 배치작업(Batch Job)이란 ERP 시스템에서 제공해야 하는 기능중의 하나로 스케쥴링하여 정해진 시간에 사용자의 interaction이 없이 오프라인(off-line)으로 서버에서 자동으로 실행시키는 작업을 말한다. ERP 시스템의 성능을 향상시키기 위해서는 기존의 사용자와 interactive한 오프라인작업을 효율적으로 운영하고 이를 모니터링/통제하는 기능에 더하여, 기업 업무를 오프라인으로 처리하는 시스템이 개발되어야 한다. 작업 부하가 많이 소요되는 작업이나 주기적으로 처리되는 작업은 작업부하가 상대적으로 낮은 시간을 택하여 수행하도록 하여 시스템의 부하를 경감시키고 작업 효율을 향상시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 개발된 ERP 시스템에 오프라인처리를 위한 배치 작업 시스템 개발에 대해 연구하였다. 기존에 온라인 작업과는 독립적으로 작업을 오프라인으로 실행시킬 수 있도록 개발되어 시스템의 작업 부하를 경감시키고 시스템의 유휴시간을 활용하여 효율을 증가시킬 수 있어, 전체적인 시스템의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다.
