Methods : This study was conducted in two stages. The first stage was the collection of preliminary questions, and the second stage was the Delphi survey. In the first stage, a literature review and analysis of the 2019 National Leisure Activity Survey were conducted. The modified Delphi technique of the Delphi investigation was implemented in two rounds. Results : In the preliminary item collection phase, 39 items were selected for leisure value assessment and 45 were listed for the participating leisure activities. Subsequently, a Delphi survey of 25 professional groups resulted in 38 leisure value assessment items and 45 participating leisure activities. Conclusion : The questions drawn from this study are meaningful because they can identify specific leisure activities that the elderly participate in, as well as the various values that the elderly consider important when participating in such activities

  • Objective : We investigated how sensory processing patterns contribute to temperament and character traits in undergraduate students. Methods : A total of 107 undergraduate students were recruited in September 2022 via convenient sampling method. They completed the Adolescent/Adult Sensory Profile and the Temperament and Character Inventory. Multiple regression models were applied to analyze the effect of sensory processing quadrants (low registration, sensation seeking, sensory sensitivity, sensation avoiding) on each temperament (novelty seeking, harm avoidance, reward dependence, persistence) and character (self-directedness, cooperativeness, self-transcendence) traits. Results : Sensation seeking significantly predicted high levels of novelty seeking, reward dependence, persistence, self-directedness, and self-transcendence but low harm avoidance. Low registration predicted high harm avoidance but low levels of reward dependence, persistence, and self-directedness. Reward dependence was predicted by high sensory sensitivity and low sensation avoiding. Conclusion : This study demonstrated that sensory processing patterns affected novelty seeking, harm avoidance, reward dependence, persistence, self-directedness, and self-transcendence in young adults.

This study consisted of five activity sessions, which each session lasted for 120 minutes. Effectiveness of the program was measured by using the STROOP Color and Word Test, Children's Color Trails Test and Assessment of Motor and Process Skills. Results : The differences between pre and posttest scores on STROOP Color and Word Test and the process skill score of Assessment of Motor and Process Skills were statistically significant. There was no difference significantly between pre and posttest scores in Children's Color Trails Test-2. Conclusion : This study demonstrated that the group cooking program intervention has effects on cognitive inhibition executive function and performance executive function of children in the community children's center. This study suggests that occupation-based intervention can be applied to various clients in the community setting.

Frequencies, descriptive statistics, chi-square test, ANOVA was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics 22. The major satisfaction and career identity have statistically significant difference according to the time of department selection. As the time of department selection was earlier(in high school), major satisfaction and career identity turned out to be higher than other times(before application period or application period). Thus, in order to effective life guidance and career guidance for the students in the department of occupational therapy after admission, the carrer programs that convergent the characteristics of the department of occupational therapy are needed.

Based on this information, a group of experts developed a occupational therapy model within the community care system. Results : Assessment tools such as occupation-based health promotional table, interest checklist, occupational goals for improving living functions, sheet for evaluation of living functions, survey of daily life time (weekday and weekend), and sheet for transition of living functions were developed to conduct evaluation for occupational therapy. The improving living functions program, analysis of activities based on ICF model, lifestyle redesign program, cognitive exercise therapy, the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT), hospice, and home modification were also organized interventions already in place by occupational therapists. Conclusion : This study showed specific measures and models for the implementation of occupational therapy within community care systems. Occupational therapy is positioned as a specialized area that is essential to the client, and we look forward to the use of this model.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of dysphagia intervention function and life quality of stroke patients. each 5 patients were randomly assigned in two groups, control group performing indirect feeding and experimental group performing direct feeding. Evaluation of the swallowing function was performed before intervention, after 4weeks and 8 weeks using CDS, PAS with VFSS and quality of life was performed twice, before and after intervention. Two groups showed the improved swallowing function, control group showed the significant difference only in CDS(p<.05). but experimental group showed the significant differenc in CDS and PAS(p<.01). both groups showed the significant improvement in quality of life(p<.05). but in comparison between group, no significant statistical difference were found(p>.05). Therefore, this study showed that both the swallowing function and quality of life were improved as time passed, but swallowing function was much more improved in experimental group.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of academic achievement and the achievement goal of students of Department of occupational therapy in Gyeongnam Province. 106 students in the department of occupational therapy filled out a questionnaire. For this study, Elliot & Church's Achievement Goal and GPA were used. The achievement goal was subdivided into the mastery goal, the performance approach goal, and the performance avoidance goal. The GPA from the previous semester was used. The results of this study were as follows. Female students received higher grades on all of the Achievement Goals than male. The results of the performance approach goal decreased as the students' class seniority increased. The performance approach goal showed academic achievement correlated positively with performance approach, but correlated negatively with the performance avoidance goal. The negative achievement goal got lower as the seniority of students increased. On the basis of these results, an educational approach is necessary for the positive achievement goal where an understanding of the students' individual characteristics are account for in the achievement goal.

  • Objective : This study aimed to investigate the level of human rights sensitivity of occupational therapists and compare the differences in the level of human rights sensitivity between variables to provide a basis for awareness, human rights behavior, and the development of human rights education programs. Methods : A questionnaire consisting of general characteristics and 10 human rights susceptibility episodes was distributed, and 131 copies were analyzed. Results : The average score for human rights sensitivity was 58.75 for male and 55.44 for female therapists. As for the difference in human rights sensitivity by episode by sex, statistically significant differences were found in the right to avoid illegal arrest and restriction and the right to freedom from imprisonment. In addition, as a result of differences in changes in human rights sensitivity by subcategory, there was a statistically significant difference between males and females in the perception of responsibility. In the case of males, the average score for perception of responsibility was the highest, and in the case of females, the average score for perception of the situation was the highest.
