  • A test range for a 75tf class gas generator cycle liquid propellant rocket engine is defined. The engine system test range is defined by the performance variation during flight, the dispersion after engine calibration, and additional margin. The component development test range includes the operation range corresponding to the engine system test range and the component performance margin.

  • Crash test data from different impact modes and threshold speeds were used to assess the effects of impact conditions on air bag electronic single point sensing (ESPS) activation requirements. The requirements are expressed in terms of the desired sensor activation time based on unbelted driver dummy kinematics. A crash discriminator pre-displacement is introduced to crash recognition algorithm to the ESPS. The new crash recognition algorithm named Velocity Energy Pre-displacement(VEPD) method is developed and the ESPS algorithm based on the VEPD technique is used to assess the ESPS system performance. It is shown that VEPD method correlates very well with desired sensor activation time and meets the activation requirement.

  • 진공노즐방식의 파종기로 파종작업할 경우 박과채소의 대목으로 사용되고 있는 대립종자들의 최대파종율을 얻기위하여 참박, 특토좌, 흑종호박 종자에 대한 파종시험을 실시하였다. 1) 적정한 노즐구경과 홉착부압은 참박종자가 1.5mm, 7.97kPa, 특토좌종자가 1.5mm, 10.63kPa, 흑종호박종자가 2.0mm, 5.31kPa과 1.5mm, 13.28kPa로 나타났다. 2) 최적작동조건에서 참박종자, 특토좌종자 및 흑종호박 종자의 최대 파종율은 97.6%, 98.8% 및 97.6%로 나타났다. 3) 종자가 커지고 무거워짐에 따라 노즐의 구경이 큰 것이 유리한 것으로 나타났는데, 대목으로 사용되는 종자에서는 1.5mm노즐을 범용으로 사용가능하다는 결론을 얻었다. 4) 노즐개수가 많아지면 부착압력이 낮을 경우에는 파종율에 차이가 있었지만 부착압력이 높아지게 되면 파종율의 차이는 약간 낮아졌다. 5) 참박, 특토좌, 흑종호박 종자의 최대파종율을 나타내는 흡착부압 P = η.4W/$\pi$d$^2$로 나타낼 수 있고 여유계수 η ≒ 10으로 나타났다.

A Study for the Fire Hazard Evaluation through the Fire Simulation of an Apartment Fire Accident (아파트 화재 사례 전산모사를 통한 화재위험성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, Fire Hazards were evaluated through computer simulation using FDS program for an apartment fire accident. The results of fire simulation showed that the maximum heat release rate in the case of no sprinklers activation was 7,700 kW which was about 16 times of that in the case of sprinklers activation, 497 kW and there was a very high fire hazard due to the backdraft phenomenon when the door of fire room was forced to open. Regarding the hazard time of fire room temperature and detection time of detectors, available evacuation time was 32.5 seconds of minimum to 53.5 seconds of maximum. In the case of sprinklers activation, fire hazard in the apartment was showed to be very low due to the fire control by the spray cooling of sprinklers. This study shows that what a important function for fire safety is the activations of fire sprinkler system and emergency alarm system and what a large loss can cause if these systems don’t activate in fire accidents.

  • Necessities of a traffic means work a car in the modern society human to an usability of a life is enjoying. On the other hand, the damage by traffic accident increment the human quotient worked as we were in proportion to the vehicle which increased. Passing an examination moves necessarily on an obstacle to suddenly appear at the fronts if a car travels and the vehicles which stopped suddenly. Dynamic passing an examination about an obstacle turn on Vehicle Emergency Lamp to by hand when is unhurried, and can turn off, but to appear urgently dynamic passing an examination in time human is instinctive, but cannot inform an emergency to a back vehicle, and a rear-end collision occurs. A car we synthesize a speed of a vehicle, and this unit analyzes as we use GPS, and to drive runs Vehicle Emergency Lamp to automatic in the situations that shall turn on emergencies etc. If a speed of a vehicle continuously slows down in too high-speed driving or low-speed driving, or we are stopped, Vehicle Emergency Lamp is always turned on. It was built if we rise again as clearing itself from risk, and a speed of a vehicle judges, and we turn off Vehicle Emergency Lamp to automatic. It runs till rear-end collision sensor operates, and by hand reset does Vehicle Emergency Lamp a driving vehicle collides from behind to a back vehicle or when a driving vehicle was overthrown. It is shortened very much to the chain rear-end collision traffic accident that is a traffic accident of large size if we use this unit. And we did authentication through the experiment which a driver was helpful to unnecessary operation and a relaxed safe driving during drivings.

  • The Instrument Channel setpoints of the Reactor Protection System(RPS) and the Engineered Safety Feature Actuation System(ESFAS) ensures the safety of Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs), and the actuation of the protection system should be guaranteed on power change condition. The goal of this study is to verify the appropriateness of the sensor drift and rack drift which are important factors for setpoints evaluation and to improve the setpoints margin using the operation data, design specifications and operation manuals of the NPPS.

  • 본 논문은 시스템 운동학적 자유보다도 많은 수의 input을 사용하여 비선형 구속조건을 갖는 메 카니즘의 정역학적 평형을 유지시키는 경우와 같이 일반 로봇 시스템의 협력 작업시 일어나는 antagonistic stiffness를 연구하였다. 이러한 antagonistic 상황은 coordinations of multiple manipulators, multi-fingered end-efector, walking machine, 그리고 인간의 움직임등을 포함하는 많은 로봇 시스템의 작동시에 일어난다. Antagonism으로 야기되는 stiffness는 이러한 시스템의 특성을 파악하는 좋은 척도 가 될 수 있다. Antagonistic stiffness의 개념은 시스템을 구성하는 강체들의 상대 변위의 함수로 얻어 지기 때문에 바강체들이 변형하는 특성을 나타내는 structural stiffness와는 구별된다. 따라서 이 개념은 여유입력들에 의해 얻어지는 시스템의 effective stiffness로 해석될 수 있고, 일반 로봇 mechanism의 개 경로 안정도의 척도로 이용될 수 있으며 목적에 따라서 stiffness의 제어가 가능한 비선형 spring을 만 드는 데에도 응용이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 antagonism이 일어나는 몇가지 상황에서의 stiffness 특성 과 개경로 안정성 조건등을 해석적, 기하학적 관점에서 다루었다.

  • Thermal conductivities of a Ni-Cr coating applied for the protection of a thrust chamber operating under the condition of high pressure and high temperature were measured. Results showed that the data used in heat transfer calculation has a 20~25% margin compared with data measured.

  • 이상에서 논술한 바와 같이 금속절삭에 있어서는 절삭공구는 열의 와중의 격열한 상태하에서 작동이 이루어져야 하기 때문에 절삭유제를 분사함으로써 냉각작용으로 경도저하를 방지하고, 균체작용을 시킴으로써 열의 발생을 적게 하며 동력 소비를 감소함과 동시에 절삭면의 정밀도를 향상시킨다. 또한 절삭유제에 극압첨가제를 첨가함으로써 고체윤활을 생성케하여 용찰을 방지 하는 효과를 얻고 있다. 이 외에도 절살유제는 칩의 세척작용, 공작물과 기계의 방작용등의 효 과를 얻고 있다. 요는 절삭가공에서 절삭유제의 사용은 절삭공구의 수명을 연장하고 생산능률을 올리는 효과를 기대하는 것이라고 요약할 수 있다. 여기서 부차적으로 고려해야할 것은 절삭유 제의 토방법도 중요하다. 동일한 조건하에서는 토방법에 따라 효과가 다르다. 가장 효과적인 토 법은 공구의 앞여유면쪽으로 분사하는 것이 가장 좋으며, 칩 위에 분사하는 것이 가장 비효과 적이다. 이와 같은 절삭유제 작용과 효능을 알고 실제가공에 있어서 다소라도 도움이 되었으면 다행으로 생각하는 마음 간절하면서 끝맺는 바이다.
