  • 세계시장은 급변하고 있으며 이에 따라 기업에게 고품질의 서비스를 고객에게 신속하게 제공할 것을 요구하고 있다. 기업은 이를 위해서 급변하는 경영환경을 정확하게 예측하고 신속하게 대응하기 위한 경영정보시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문은 대표적인 ERP 시스템인 SAP R/3 시스템과 자재관리 모듈의 특징과 구성을 소개하였고, "W"사의 구축사례를 바탕으로 자재관리 모듈의 효율적 사용을 위한 웹기반 시스템을 연구하였다.

  • Due to the rapid development of Internet technology, qualities of Web services are steadily improving and the Web database systems are actively employed to efficiently manage proper informations in various fields. In this paper, we propose a Web database system for the efficient material management for reusing construction materials. The proposed Web-based management system is operated using the spring framework, after constructing a database based on the collected data including tag ID, Location, Material, State, and Cycle, using the RFID(: Radion Frequency IDentification) system equipped with a location estimation module. Recently, the processing problem for a large amount of the residues generated at the demolition stage of various buildings is magnified in the construction site. The proposed Web-based construction material management system is expected for improving the processing problem as increasing the reusability and for reducing the construction cost as efficiently managing the construction materials for the reuse.

  • There have been certain extent of material inventory in construction site because of difficulties in ordering by small quantity, strategy of securing future requirements and prevention of delay. However, carrying these inventory entails a financial cost called inventory holding cost and decrease construction productivity, so proper inventory management in construction industry is important for construction efficiency and cost reduction. This study tries to find analytical method of inventory management. It includes ordering decision which decide how much to order and when to order. Setting these strategies including deciding safety inventory, input and ouput variability are able to controled.

Developing Response Plan for the Direct Buying System for SME's Construction Materials based on the Analysis of Material Procurement Management Load: Focused on the Owner Providing Public Apartment Housing (지급자재 조달관리부담 평가에 기초한 중소기업 공사용자재 직접구매제도 대응방안: 공공아파트를 공급하는 발주자를 중심으로)

  • The Small and Medium Business Administration specified 123 construction materials mandatory to purchase directly and forced the public owners to provide the contractors with materials as required by related law. This study extensively reviewed various characteristics and management factors of the owner-providing materials consumed in the public apartment housing under Direct Buying System(DBS) from the public owner's perspective. Subsequently, the major managed materials were identified, and the proper response plan was developed along the material procurement process. The Procurement Management Load Indices (PMLI) of 43 materials were evaluated according to rating criteria with procurement path, project-specified level, user requirement level, supplier's responsibility, on-site work requirement, additional parts, and inspection standards. The tile and aluminum windows were classified in the group needing high-level procurement efforts to reduce the errors and ensure the efficiency. The accurate quantity estimation method, definite purchase details, management activity definition before and after production, additional quantity for rework, interference coordination were defined as the essential activities for effectively responding to DBS.

  • As the scale of construction work is enlarged, complicated and diversified, much construction information from the large number of construction sites is generated and reported to the head office. To control much information generated in construction sites simultaneously, the necessity of supporting system which could extract necessary information is increased. However, comparing with those of large companies, medium-sized companies's organization of head office and management system are weak. So it's difficult to manage multi-projects. Among these site managements, resource management is an important management area. But, resource planning is based on experience and judgement and has not associated with schedule information. So when schedule is changed, the plan must be amended manually. This study investigates material-planning model for multi-project management which is connected with daily report system and scheduling software.

  • The efficient materials management in construction field is a very important work required for designing and demolishing building. As the waste amount caused by the building demolition is increased, the concern related to the treatment method, recyclability, and effect on the environment have been gradually increased. In general, the conventional databases for the construction materials management does not consider the reuse of the construction materials on steps for the building demolition and reconstruction, but they only consider managing the type and input amount of them. In this paper, we propose the database system for efficiently managing the various construction materials informations including the location and condition of each construction materials for the efficient reuse of them on the building demolition and reconstruction. The considered informations are obtained the RFID(: Radio Frequency IDentification) system with on-board the location estimation module. Using the reuse management of construction materials, based on the proposed database, we expect the reduction of the construction cost and time.

  • Effectiveness of Just in time managing system can be obtained by removing unexpected lead-time and maintaining consistency on the physical transportation of construction resource. Construction resource management is essential on checking on load data from production of shop to field, and it is based on building resource life cycle information. In this study, production, transportation, and assembly disciplines of concrete construction should real time communications exchanging information related to shop-field with each other, Establishing information support system is an important initial step for promoting active cooperations among these resource life cycle on data flow. To achieve this, on suitable using management point, we suggest a concrete construction control model.

  • Due to the global warming, the restriction for emitting the green-house gas is strengthened and a main ingredient of the green-house gas is carbon dioxide ($CO_2$). In order to reduce the amount of $CO_2$, the low-carbon and long-life of the construction and the construction materials management system based on the radio frequency identification (RFID) technique have been actively studied in the construction field. The conventional construction management system based on RFID only focuses on the study and experiment for managing the used amount and location of the construction materials in the construction stage, but it does not consider the study for the status management system for the recycling materials in the construction stage or the building deactivation. In this paper, we propose the effective RFID system for managing the status of the construction materials during the construction stage or the building deactivation. Employing RFID with the frequency of 900MHz, the proposed system consists of the reader unit, communication unit, and memory unit, and its tags are attached in the surface or inside of the construction materials.

  • 최근 건설 산업이 고도화, 지능화됨에 따라 건설자재정보의 효율적인 관리방안으로 RFID 기술을 이용하려는 연구 및 적용 사례가 증가 하고 있다. RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)란 라디오 주파수를 이용한 무선인식 기법을 뜻하는 것으로 건설자재에 RFID Transponder(이하 태그)를 부착하여 생산, 유통, 설비 등 전 과정의 정보 추적 및 관리가 가능하다. 그러나 RFID 시스템 특성상 전자기장이 형성되는 철골자재나 수분이 포함된 콘크리트, 도료(안료) 등의 자재에서는 RFID 적용이 쉽지 않다. 또한, 현재 사용 중인 RFID 장비마저도 표준화 되어 있지 않고 사용 주파수 대역 또한 각각 다르기 때문에 건설자재에 적용하기위한 RFID 시스템의 표준화 및 규격화가 절실하다. 본 논문에서는 건설자재에 RFID를 적용하기 위한 표준화 방향을 제시하는 기초 연구로써 목재, 철재 빔, 도료(안료), 콘크리트, 배관자재(철/동/PE)에 Passive Type의 일반(Pager) 태그, 금속 태그, 액체형 태그를 부착 매립하여 125KHz, 13.56MHz, 900MHz의 주파수 대역과 자재 물성별 인식거리 및 인식률 시험을 진행하여 건설자재에 RFID를 적용하기위한 표준 주파수 대역 및 재질에 따른 적정 태그를 제시하고자 한다.

  • As the scale of domestic building construction becomes larger, more complicated and more specialized, demands for quality improvement, cost reduction and construction period shortening increase. Construction materials management becomes a main factor to perform the project successfully. Therefore, various researches using RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) are being studied to manage the construction materials efficiently. This research aims to suggest the method of construction materials management using RFID in apartment housing. First, the technical properties of RFID are grasped. Second, problems are extracted by analyzing the case studies and related research using RFID in construction field. Third, construction materials are classified according to the construction process and process of materials management is analyzed. Lastly, method of construction materials management using RFID is suggested. The results of this research are expected to contribute the improvement of construction productivity through effective material management.
