Impact properties of corrugated fiberboard box for the pears (배 골판지 포장상자의 충격특성)

  • 배 포장용 골판지 상자의 자유낙하 실험을 통하여 완충재로써의 골판지 상자에 대한 충격력을 분석하기 위한 시스템을 구성하고 계측 및 분석용 컴퓨터 프로그램을 작성하여 자유낙하에 의한 배 골판지 포장상자의 충격력을 분석하였으며, 배 골판지 포장상자의 낙하높이에 따른 배의 손상정도는 낙하높이가 높아짐에 따라 손상이 심하고 낙하높이가 낮은 25cm에서도 진동에 의한 손상지수보다는 훨씬 큼을 알 수가 있었다. 이것은 자유낙하에 의한 골판지의 충격력이 배에 전달되어 멍이 발생하는 것으로, 진동에 의한 변위 증폭 및 압상에 의한 손상보다 낙하 충격력에 의한 손상이 더 큰 것을 알 수가 있었으며, 배 골판지 포장상자의 적재 및 하역 작업시에는 낮은 낙하높이에서도 포장상자를 떨어뜨리지 않도록 주의를 하여야 할 것이다.

  • In this work, the effect of attitude angle variation on drag coefficients of hemisphere in a Mach 6 flow has been investigated. Experiments were conducted in a shock tunnel and a free-falling technique was used to minimize flow disturbance by a sting. For attitude and drag coefficient measurements of a free-falling hemisphere, a free-falling technique based on a releasing mechanism with a stair-typed module and an electromagnet was developed. A shadowgraph technique was used for flow visualization using a high-speed camera.

  • In this paper, acceleration and pressure exerted on a human model were measured under a supersonic condition in a shock tunnel. In order to measure these in an interference-free environment, free-fall technique with an electromagnet and a three-dimensional iron-powdered human model was used. Free-fall experiment was conducted at Mach 4 and the force acting on the model was obtained by calculating the displacement from the flow visualization images.

  • 원자력발전소의 1차 계통에서 오염된 장비들을 취급이 용이하고 안전하게 운반하기 위한 운반용기는 내부의 방사성 물질에 대한 방사능 평가에 의하여 방사성물질 A형 운반용기로 분류된다. 방사성물질 A형 운반용기는 IAEA Safety Standard Series No. ST-1 및 국내 원자력법 등 관련규정의 기술기준을 만족하여야 하는데, 운반용기는 중량에 따라 0.3∼1.2m의 높이에서 소성이 일어나지 않는 단단한 바닥면으로 가장 심각한 손상을 주는 방향으로 낙하시키는 정상운반조건(normal transport conditions)에 대하여 구조적 건전성을 유지하여야 한다. 여기서는 ABAQUS/Explicit 코드를 이용하여 컨테이너형태의 A형 운반용기에 대하여 최대손상이 야기되는 0.9m 경사낙하조건에 대한 3차원 충격해석을 수행하고 구조적 건전성을 평가하였는데, 운반용기는 경사낙하시 코너피팅(corner fitting)의 분쇄(crush)에 의하여 대부분의 충격을 흡수하였으며 운반용기의 격납경계는 구조적 건전성을 유지하였다.

An Experimental Study on Slamming Impact Pressure and Flow Characteristics by Free Fall of Rectangular Marine Structure (직사각형 해양구조물의 자유낙하 슬래밍 충격압력 및 유동특성에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • This paper presents an experimental investigation to figure out slamming impact pressure and flow characteristics of a rectangular Marine structure($800{\times}250{\times}50mm^3$) in free fall. The flow field has been obtained by 2-frame grey level cross correlation PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry) method, the impact pressure of the free fall model by a pressure acquisition system(Dewatron). The angles between a model and the free surface are adapted $10^{\circ}$ and $20^{\circ}$ respectively. Velocity field of water exit has higher better than water entry. The highest point, P2 of impact pressure under the bottom of the model has been appeared about 6 % higher values at 20 degrees than 10 degrees.

  • Slamming means that the hull hits the waves and receives impact pressure. This slamming effect may cause harm to people and when you put the hull at risk. so it is very harmful for cargo safety. Therefor slamming impact pressure should be fully considered in ship designing. In this study the model of wedged type structure are produced aimed to simulate a free fall that the experiments were carried out on different weight and free fall height. The flow field has been obtained by 2-frame grey level cross correlation PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry) method and experiment was divided into water entry and water exit. The impact pressure of free fall structure by a pressure acquisition system apply to dewetron system. The angles between a model and the water surface are adapted $15^{\circ}$ respectively. The weight change of models was given as 1.5, 1.8 and 2.0kg. To study slamming phenomenon for free fall height the experiments were carried out by the free fall height of 100, 200 and 300mm. The experimental value of the impact pressure according to the changes in weight was increase impact pressure in proportion to the increase in weight and higher free falling height has also influenced the increase in impact pressures.

수송용기 충격완충제 용접강도의 충돌거동 영향 평가

  • 사용 후 핵연료 수송용기는 자유낙하 충돌사고에 대비해 양 끝단에 충격완충체를 부착하는데 이 충격완충체의 층격흡수특성은 수송용기의 구조적 안전성애 크게 영향을 미친다. 충격완충체의 층격흡수재를 감싸주는 철제 케이스와, 내부 격막판의 용접 접합부는 제작공정상 일부 부분이 부분접합 형태를 갖기 때문에 완전 접합된 부분이나 모재인 판재 부분에 비해 강도가 약하다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 충격완충체의 부분접합부와 같은 조건의 접합상태를 고려한 용접시편의 시험을 통해서 충격완충체 케이스의 용접 접합부에 대한 접합강도와 기계적 특성을 분석하고, 접합부의 강도특성이 수송용기의 자유낙하 충돌거동에 미치는 영향을 예측하였다.

Suggestion of New Method for the Prediction of Shock Vibration (충격진동 예측방법에 관한 새로운 방법 제안)

  • In case of estimating the shocking vibration during the blasting demolitions, the weight and falling height of the structure, that is a potential energy, had been considered. But, this study presented a new equation which used the impulse concerning a falling weight instead of potential energy as a method of predicting the shock vibration. In this experiment, the data of the impulse were compared with the data of the potential energy by performing the free-fall, and all data were comparatively analyzed by the regression analysis method. Also, the method of the superposition theory, which is calculated by the diminution ratio according to distance, the free-fall difference according to height, and the time giving the shock to the ground according to the breakdown pattern, was compared with the previous vibration data occurring from the blasting demolitions in the same conditions. As a result, this study suggests that the impulse and the method of superposition theory be applied as a method of predicting the shocking vibration. Therefore, these results could be expected to estimate the shocking vibration more accurately than the previous method.

  • The cask is used to transfer the radioactive material in various fields required to withstand hypothetical accident condition such as 9m drop impact in accordance with the requirement of the domestic requlations and IAEA. So far the impact force has been obtained by the finite element method with complex computational procedure. In this study, the dynamic impact response of the cask body is analyzed using the mode superposition method, and the analysis method is proposed. The results we also validated by comparing with previous experimental results and finite element analysis results. The present method Is simpler than finite element method and can be used to predict the global impact response of cask
