  • The Auto Tuning Controller is designed using Fuzzy set theory. And to verify its validity it is Applied to the Auto Tuner of hydraulic Control System. Fuzzy Tuning Procedures are written by linguistic model and translated into C language formation by preprocessor. Then it is executed with state feedback controller in real time, Fuzzy Logic Controller adjusts state feedback gain by proper tuning logic in each step to satisfy the desired maximum overshoot and settling time.

  • We use the saturation nonlinear feedback element to generate self-oscillation in order to find an ultimate gain and period of linear plant. The use of saturation nonlinear feedback element can improve accuracy of an ultimate gain and period of unknown linear plant. An ultimate gain and period of linear plant can be used to tune a PID controller parameters. It is possible that an asymmetric oscillation can be occurred under the special circumstances such as with static load disturbance. We analyze an asymmetric self-oscillation. As the results of an analysis, we propose a method to find an ultimate gain and period of linear Plant under the asymmetric self-oscillation.

  • In this study, a method for simplifying the structure of the VDES RF receiver, and the gain control method of the receiver to comply with the international standard in this structure was described. The input level of the wanted signal and unwanted signal to the receiver was defined, and when the two signals were input, the saturation state at the ADC was checked at the receiver output. As a result of the simulation by the circuit simulator, it was satisfied that the output power of the receiver was in the SFDR region of ADC with respect to the adjacent channel interference ratio, intermodulation, and blocking level. Through this study, it was found that the structure of th proposed RF receiver conforms to the international standard.

  • The supersonic advanced trainer based on digital flight-by-wire flight control system uses aircraft flight information such as altitude, calibrated airspeed and angle of attack to calculate flight control law, and this information is measured by IMFP(Integrated Multi-Function Probe) equipment. The information has triplex structure using three IMFP sensors. Final value of informations is selected by mid-value selection logic to have more flight data reliability. As the result of supersonic flight test, pitch oscillation is occurred due to IMFP noise when altitude hold autopilot mode is engaged. This tendency may affect stability and handling quality of an aircraft during autopilot mode. This paper addresses autopilot control law design to remove pitch oscillation and these control laws are verified by non-real time simulation and flight test. Also, pitch response characteristics of pitch attitude hold autopilot mode is improved by upgrading the control law structure and feedback gain tuning during bank turn.

  • Our amplifier using an all optical method and a fixed GFF achieved automatic gain flatness throughput the C-band without any NF degradation, and simultaneously achieved a constant 25 dB gain, while input signals were varied between one channel and forty WDM channels. When thirty nine channels were added and dropped, the transient gain variation of the survival channel was not greater than the steady-state gain variation, and its wavelength dependency was negligible.

  • This paper presents a method for designing an autopilot of the BTT missile using 2DOF Wiener-Hopf control technique to improve tracking performance. Linear controllers are designed based on the linearized models which are obtained from the nonlinear missile dynamic equations at various operating points. The gain scheduling technique is used to implement the final autopilot. A simulation on the flight of missiles is carried out through the use of 6DOF equation program including exact nonlinear equations of the missile and the variations of aerodynamic variables in order to check applicability of the suggested method in real situation.

  • This paper presents the aircraft autopilot system with a pre-designed gain schedule. It is mainly consisted of the parameter estimation end the autopilot system design. For off-line parameter estimation, leastsquare methods are investigated. The design of a controller is done in frequenced domain using classical control method and it is designed to satisfy the predetermined requirement such as time constant and transient response. Finally, it is compared with a optimal regulator.

  • 본 연구는 산업현장에서 요구되고 있는 공장자동화의 한 분야로 다관절이 로보트의 비집중 제어기버에 관해 고찰한 것이다. 제안한 기법은 매니퓰레이터가 원하는 궤적에 정확히 진행할 수 있도록 각 링크별로 차원이 낮은 부시스템으로 모델링하여 분산제어를 실시 함으로서 실시간 제어를 용이하게 할 수 있는 방식이다. 각 부시스템의 제어기는 관절별로 제어하는 궤환 제어기, 전향 제어기 및 보호신호기 등으로 구성되고, 이들 제어기의 이득을 조정함으로서 매니퓰레이터를 제어하는 것이다. 또한 제안한 비집중 적응 제어기를 2-링크 매니퓰레이터에 시뮬에이션한 결과 강하게 결합된 동력학과 부하의 변화에도 불구하고 제안한 기법이 원하는 궤적에 양호하게 진행함을 알 수 있었다.

  • PID auto-tuning controller was designed via fuzzy logic. Typical values such as error and error derivative feedback were changed as heuristic expressions, and they determine PID gain through fuzzy logic and defuzzification process. Fuzzy procedure and PID controller design were considered separately, and they are combined and analyzed. Obtained auto-tuning PID controller by Fuzzy Logic showed the ability for less than 3rd order plant control. We also applied to reference tracking problem with the designed auto-tuning scheme.

  • 현대 산업현장에서 80%이상 사용되는 PID(proportional integral derivative) 제어기는 제어성, 적응성, 제어이득 조정 등의 특정이 있어나 제어 대상에 대한 PID 제어 계수를 경험적 방법인 수동으로 동조해야하는 문제점이 있다. 이를 개선하기 위해 본 논문에서 PID제어기의 최적 자동동조를 위한 릴레이 동조 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 한계감도법과 과도응답 법으로 초기계수를 결정하는 방법보다 유연성과 적용성이 높고, 이를 마이크로프로세서(DSP : TMS-320C32)에 적용하여 소프트웨어적으로 릴레이의 기능이 이루어지도록 설계했다. 이는 Ziegler-Nichols 계수조정법이 갖는 적용대상의 제약성을 극복한 방법이며, 릴레이에 의해 출력을 강제 진동시키고 출력의 진폭과 주기를 이용하여 PID 계수를 조정하고, 또 상대안정성의 척도인 위상여유를 고려하므로 시스템의 상대안정성과 견실성을 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.
