An Efficient Multi-Processing Batch Job System for NS-2 Simulations (효율적인 NS-2 시뮬레이션을 위한 멀티프로세싱 기법의 Batch Job 시스템)

  • 네트워크 시뮬레이터인 NS-2(Network Simulator 2)는 다양한 인터넷 프로토콜을 분석 할 수 있는 이산 사건 시뮬레이터로 데이터 처리량과 패킷 지연 및 전력 소모 등을 구할 수 있다. 그러나 NS-2를 사용하여 실험 시 네트워크 토폴로지의 설정이 변경 될 때마다 Tcl 스크립트를 통해 단일적으로 밖에 대응하지 못한다는 불편함이 존재한다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 멀티프로세싱 기법의 NS-2 Batch Job 시스템을 제안한다. 쉘(Bash) 스크립트로 NS-2 내부 구조의 간섭 없이 자동화 일괄 작업(Batch Job) 시스템을 모듈 구조로 구현 및 적용시켰다. 또한 실험의 시간 효율을 극대화시키기 위해 멀티프로세싱 기법을 이용하여, 하드웨어 성능의 부하가 걸리지 않는 선에서 NS-2 시뮬레이션을 다중 처리할 수 있도록 만들었다. 성능 비교분석 결과, 제안하는 Batch Job 시스템을 적용하면 기존에 NS-2를 이용한 실험에 걸리는 시간에 비해 소요시간이 평균 48% 감소한 결과를 볼 수 있다. 이는 하드웨어 성능이 향상된다면, 부하가 걸리지 않는 상한까지 더 많은 개수의 NS-2 프로세스를 실행시킬 수 있기 때문에 더욱 큰 시간 효율을 보여줄 수 있다.

  • Our middle manufacturing industry need a master data management solution to adjust the changing industry environment effectively. In this paper, we development the master data management solution which has an user interface to use conveniently and has a standard data architecture for the efficient connection among various systems. Also this solution composed of the automated connection module which can make an intermediate language based on the standard data architecture and composed of the extensible production data management to improve the extensibility. This solution can provide an efficient progress information of work which was not managed by officer until now as well as can provide stable system building when we want to extend the system.

  • Low cost launch vehicle for next-generation is underway in advanced space countries such as the United States, Europe, Japan and China. This paper surveys the latest technological trends in avionics system, including ground management system. In the case of on-board equipment, to make short the development period and reduce the cost, the equipment is standardized and modularized for each functions to flexibly respond to changes in system requirements. In addition, a network is applied to all inter-equipment interfaces and a powerful self-diagnostic function is included in the equipment to realize automation/simplification of the interface with the ground system, and it is confirmed that an efficient launcher system is realized.

  • In this paper, we studied properties of smart farms that can automatically control not only the temperature and humidity but also the illumination to improve plant productivity. The smart farm was designed to allow the controllers to operate through Arduino by receiving input values from each sensor. In addition, to maximize the convenience of smart farm, the Bluetooth communication module is used to control the smart phone. The study confirmed that the automation function of smart farms can create an environment suitable for plants to grow.

  • Recently, in order to increase the efficiency of the product production process, the automation of facilities and devices in the factory is in progress, and a smart factory is being built using ICT and IoT technologies. In order to organically solve many problems occurring in the smart factory, a system for monitoring the wireless communication function between facilities and devices and the manufacturing process environment of the smart factory is required. In this paper, we propose a monitoring system using a Bluetooth module, a temperature/humidity sensor and a fine dust sensor to remotely monitor the process environment of a smart factory. The proposed monitoring system collect Arduino sensor values wirelessly through Bluetooth communication.

  • 본 논문에서 자동제어를 이용하여 양어업에 쓰이는 큰 수조를 관리하고, 수온과 탁도를 측장하고 관리자에게 수조 안에서의 환경 및 정보를 제공할 수 있는 스마트 수조에 대해서 기술한다. 기존의 양어업의 경우, 작업 연령의 고령화, 노동 인구 감소 등 심각한 문제가 발생되고 있어 양어업의 노동의 질이 현저히 감소 되고 있다. 본 프로젝트에서는 작업자의 부재 상황에서도 블루투스 무선통신을 활용하여 실시간으로 수조 환경에 대한 정보를 수신받을 수 있고, 수조를 자동화함으로써 급격한 기후변화로 인한 어류 및 어패류의 집단폐사에 대한 대비도 가능하다. 이를 구성하기 위해서 아두이노 메가 2560 메인으로 선택하여 많은 핀들을 연결 하였고, 블루투스 모듈을 통해서 실시간으로 정보를 수신받고, 간단한 조작이 가능하여 노동인구에 대한 문제를 해결할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 최근 인공지능 기술과 로봇 기술의 발전으로 인해 비서 로봇을 만드는 기술적인 가능성이 커지면서 업무 자동화를 위해 많은 기업에서 도입하고 있다. 특히 인구 고령화가 진행되면서 노동력 부족이 심각한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 현재 비서로봇은 정형화된 대화는 잘 처리하지만 비정형화된 대화에 대해서는 한계가 있다. 본 논문은 앞선 문제를 해결하기 위해 비정형화된 대화도 가능하면서 사용자가 원하는 행동을 실행할 수 있는 보편화된 비서 로봇을 선보인다. 음성인식 모듈과 구글 어시스턴트를 활용하여 마이크를 통해 비서 로봇에게 스케줄 관리, 날씨 등을 질문하고, 스피커를 통해 대답을 듣는 등 비정형화된 의사소통을 할 수 있으며, 비서 로봇에게 원하는 행동을 지시하여 행동을 구현시킬 수 있는 비서로봇을 제안한다.

  • Intelligence Home and Home Automation, which attracted attention before Smart Home, caused inconvenience to users by focusing on applying cutting-edge technologies to homes, and failed to popularize them due to lack of unemployment efficiency. However, with the 4th Industrial Revolution, various services using technologies related to big data, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things are increasing, and the rate of smart home services that operate, manage, and automate products at home is gradually increasing. In line with this trend, this paper implements a program app that can connect, manipulate, and manage products using MQTT server, Django web framework, and WIFI communication module.

  • Ubiquitos sensor network(USN) is a technology which is widely used in our life. This paper introduces an example of design and implementation for a system which is based on the USN technology and can provide an efficient management tool for a space that should be precisely controlled for a certain range of uniformity in temperature and humidity. This introduced system builds a wireless sensor network using a number of sensor modules that are equipped with temperature and humidity sensors, and collects temperature and humidity information in real-time while simultaneously providing a method for monitoring the status of temperature and humidity by the graphical user interface. Also, the system will give a warning signal if the monitored values are differ from the pre-specified values of temperature and humidity for each sensor module more than a certain amount of tolerance. This temperature and humidity logging and monitoring system can perform better management for the space easily and efficiently by automating the existing manual method for data collection and management. Furthermore, using the stored data, it can make possible to perform post-analysis on the problems caused by temperature and humidity and to obtain information for environmental enhancement for the space.

Development of Mean Stand Height Module Using Image-Based Point Cloud and FUSION S/W (영상 기반 3차원 점군과 FUSION S/W 기반의 임분고 분석 모듈 개발)

  • Recently mean stand height has been added as new attribute to forest type maps, but it is often too costly and time consuming to manually measure 9,100,000 points from countrywide stereo aerial photos. In addition, tree heights are frequently measured around tombs and forest edges, which are poor representations of the interior tree stand. This work proposes an estimation of mean stand height using an image-based point cloud, which was extracted from stereo aerial photo with FUSION S/W. Then, a digital terrain model was created by filtering the DSM point cloud and subtracting the DTM from DSM, resulting in nDSM, which represents object heights (buildings, trees, etc.). The RMSE was calculated to compare differences in tree heights between those observed and extracted from the nDSM. The resulting RMSE of average total plot height was 0.96 m. Individual tree heights of the whole study site area were extracted using the USDA Forest Service's FUSION S/W. Finally, mean stand height was produced by averaging individual tree heights in a stand polygon of the forest type map. In order to automate the mean stand height extraction using photogrammetric methods, a module was developed as an ArcGIS add-in toolbox.
