Magnetic Switch Auto Control Method of the High-Voltage Pulse Power Supply (고전압 펄스 전원장치용 자기스위치 자동제어 방법)

  • The magnetic switch used in pulsed-power applications is superior in its high repetition rate, high stability, and long lifetime. But magnetic switch was optimized switching operation by manual control. When the load changes, the switching state can not be optimized automatically. In this paper, the auto control method of magnetic switch for high pulsed-power proposed. The magnetic switch is used capacitor charging power supply for high-voltage compressor. The proposed method can be optimized an efficiency of the system by magnetic switch auto control according to load variation. And the proposed method verify the experimental results.

  • 이 논문에서는 이동로봇의 자유로운 배회 및 목적지 찾기 행동을 위한 진화형 퍼지 제어기의 설계 방법을 제안 한다. 전체 실험공간을 장애물과 충돌없이 자유롭게 움직이기 위해서 진화연산 알고리즘을 이용한 퍼지규칙과 소속함수의 자동생성을 거친 뒤 이를 통해 전체 지도정보를 구축한다. 여러 시스템에서 응용되는 퍼지 제어기는 일반적으로 시스템을 잘 이해하고 있는 전문가로부터 구축되어 사용되어진다. 그러나 사람의 지식과 경험은 간혹 알려진 범위 내에서란 완벽하게 작동하기 때문에 그 범위를 벗어나면 오류를 범할 수 있다. 이러한 알려진 해법외의 새로운 규칙과 제어 방법을 찾기 위하여 유전 알고리즘을 이용한 퍼지규칙과 소속함수를 구축하려는 시도가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 이 논문에서도 유전 알고리즘을 이용하여 이동로봇의 퍼지 제어기에 사용된 규칙과 소속함수의 최적화를 통해 견고한 퍼지 제어기를 설계한다. 이를 통해 구축된 지도정보는 로봇의 Deliberative한 행동을 위해 사용되며, Fuzzy-GA 제어기는 센서기반 Reactive 시스템에서 이용된다. 전체 실험환경의 구성부터 제안한 이동로봇 퍼지 제어기 구축과 지도 구축작업을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the usefulness of automatic exposure control (AEC) by analyzing entrance surface dose (ESD) and entropy on using automatic exposure and manual exposure. The experimental method was to measure the dose by placing a semiconductor dosimeter on the Rando Phantom for the Pelvis, Abdomen, Skull, and Chest regions. The DICOM file was simultaneously acquired and then entropy was analyzed by using Matlab. As a result, when using the automatic exposure control, dose of all sites was lower than manual exposure's dose and entropy was high. In addition, paired t-test was performed for each item and p<0.05 was found in each item. In conclusion, the use of automatic exposure control can be a useful method to contribute to the optimization of the exposure dose and the image quality by reducing the amount of unnecessary radiation amount and information loss that can occur in X-ray examination.

Design of an Auto-Tuning IMC-PID Controller for a Heater System Using uDEAS (uDEAS를 이용한 히터 시스템의 IMC-PID 자동 동조 제어기 설계)

  • This paper deals with the precise temperature control of the heater used at a weaving thread or a drawn process. For precise temperature control, we suggest a design method that is auto-tuning IMC-PID controller using an optimization method uDEAS. For this method, we model the roll heater from the measurement data and we automatically tune the low pass filter value of IMC-PID controller that satisfies stability and conrol performance. Finally, we implement the designed controller using DSP kit.

  • In this paper, a new auto-tuning PI controller for the speed servo system of a PMSM is designed by using limited step response characteristics. The method is proposed that gets information about auto-tuning of PI regulator by the injection of step input, called limited input, during a transient response time of control. System parameter estimation and speed control could be continuously executed. This means that in despite of system uncertainty the system information obtained by limited input can be continuously applied to the PI regulator. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed auto-tuning algorithm through simulation and experiment result of the speed control for a PMSM having monotone increasing step response.

  • A automatic flight control system(AFCS) of UAS needs to control its flight path along target path exactly as adjusts flight coefficient itself depending on static or dynamic changes of airplane's features such as type, size or weight. In this paper, we propose system which tunes control gain autonomously depending on change of airplane's feature in flight as adding MLM(Machine Learning Module) on AFCS. MLM is designed with Linear Regression algorithm and Reinforcement Learning and it includes EvM(Evaluation Module) which evaluates learned control gain from MLM and verified system. This system is tested on beaver FDC simulator and we present its analysed result.

  • This paper is concerned with the fuzzy control scheme and PID controller for the vibration suppression control of a cantilever beam equipped with a laser sensor and an electromagnetic actuator. The PID controller is being widely used in industrial applications. However, it is difficult to determine the appropriate PID gains in nonlinear systems and systems with time variant characteristic and so on. In this paper, we design the fuzzy based PID controller of which output gains are adjusted automatically and the designed controller is applied to active vibration control of a cantilever beam using electromagnetic actuator with strong nonlinearity. The tuning PID parameters of proposed controller are determined by using Fuzzy algorithm. Effectiveness and performance of the designed controller are verified by both simulation and experiment results. Experimental results demonstrate that better control performance can be achieved in comparison with the PID cotroller.

  • The line pressure control system for an automotive transmission in which a bleed type variable force solenoid(VFS) is applied, has been constructed and experimentally investigated. The hydraulic circuit of the system includes a line pressure control valve, a reducing valve, an accumulator, various orifices and a VFS. Static and dynamic responses of the throttle and line pressure have been monitored and discussed for various test conditions.

  • In the auto-guiding system for obtaining a long exposure astrophotography, CCD camera is usually used for measuring guide errors which are affected by optical dispersion and mechanical disturbances. In this paper, a discrete time dynamic model and a performance index are proposed for analysing the auto-guiding system. The optimal gain for proportional control is derived considering the optical dispersion and the disturbances. Some experiments are provided to illustrate that the optimal control gain is lower as the optical dispersion is higher.

  • In this paper, we propose a generating method for the optimal rules of the fuzzy rule base using evolution algorithms. With the aid of evolution algorithms optimal rules of fuzzy logic system can be automatic designed without human expert's priori experience and knowledge. can be intelligent control. The a, pp.oach presented here generating rules by self-tuning the parameters of membership functions and searchs the optimal control rules based on a fitness value which is the defined performance criterion. Computer simulations demonstrates the usefulness of the proposed method in non-linear systems.
