Design of The Autopilot System of vessel using Fuzzy Algorithm (퍼지제어 알고리즘을 이용한 선박의 자율운항 시스템 설계)

  • The autopilot system of vessel is proposed to take service safety and security, to elevate service efficiency, to decrease labor and to improve working environment. Ultimate purpose of the proposed system is to minimize the number of crew by guaranteeing economical efficiency of shipping service. Recently, the research is being achieved to compensate various nonlinear parameters of vessel and apply it to course keeping control, track keeping control, roll-rudder stabilization, dynamic ship positioning and automatic mooring control etc. using optimizing control technique. Relation between rudder angle controlled by steering machine of vessel and ship-heading angle, and load condition of ship is nonlinear, which affects various parameters of shipping service. The speed and direction of waves, velocity and quantity of wind, which also cause the non-linearity of it. Therefore the autopilot system of ship requires the robust control algorithm can overcome various non-linearity. On this paper, we design the autopilot system of ship, which overcomes nonlinear Parameters and disturbance of it using Fuzzy Algorithm, evaluate the proposed algorithm and its excellence through simulation.

Servo Control of Hydraulic Motor using Artificial Intelligence (인공지능을 이용한 유압모터의 서보제어)

  • In this paper, we propose a controller with the self-organizing neural network compensator for compensating PID controller's response. PID controller has simple design method but needs a lot of trials and errors to determine coefficients. A neural network control method does not have optimal structure as the parameters are pre-specified by designers. In this paper, to solve this problem, we use a self-organizing neural network which has Back Propagation Network algorithm using a Gaussian Potential Function as an activation function of hidden layer nodes for compensating PID controller's output. Self-Organizing Neural Network's learning is proceeded by Gaussian Function's Mean, Variance and number which are automatically adjusted. As the results of simulation through the second order plant, we confirmed that the proposed controller get a good response compare with a PID controller. And we implemented the of controller performance hydraulic servo motor system using the DSP processor. Then we observed an experimental results.

Automatic Prostate Segmentation from Ultrasound Images using Morphological Features (형태학적 특징을 이용한 초음파 영상에서의 자동 전립선 분할)

  • In this paper, we propose a method of extracting prostate region using morphological characteristics of ultra-sonic image of prostate. In the first step of the proposed method, the edge area of the prostate image is extracted. The histogram of ultra-sonic image is used to extract base objects to detect the upper edge of prostate region by altering the contrast of the image, then, the lower edges of the extracted base objects are connected by using monotone cubic spline interpolation to extract the upper edge. Step 2, Otsu's binarization is applied to the region under the extracted upper edge of the prostate ultra-sonic image to extract the lower edge of prostate. In the last step, the upper and the lower edges are connected to extract prostate region and by comparing the extracted region of prostate with the one measured manually, the result showed that the morphological characteristics of prostate in ultrasonic image can be utilized to extract the prostate region.

  • 현대의 산업화 사회에서는 자동인식을 통해서 사람과 사물을 식별하고자 하는 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 그 대표적인 예로 바코드를 이용한 접촉식 판별기술이 있고, 라디오 주파수를 이용한 RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) 기술을 들 수 있다. RFID의 경우는 무선 주파수를 이용하기 때문에 대량의 사물을 동시에 인식 할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 하지만. 어떠한 상황에서 리더의 요청에 응답을 하는 리더-태그 시스템이기 때문에 사용자의 프라이버시 침해 문제를 야기 할 수 있다. 사용자의 프라이버시 침해문제를 막기 위해서 많은 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 그 중에서, Miyako Ohkubo의 Hash체인을 이용한 프라이버시 보호 기법은 정보유출, 위치추적공격(Location Tracking Attack), 전방위보안성(Forward Security)과 같은 프라이버시 침해문제들로부터 사용자의 프라이버시를 보호 할 수 있는 프로토콜이다. 그러나 Hash함수를 태그에 구현하는 것은 현재까지는 불가능한 상황이다. 또, Martin Feldhofer의 AES(Advanced Encryption Standard)를 사용한 프로토콜은 실제로 태그에 구현 가능하면서 내부구조가 8bit인 AES를 사용함으로써 암호학적인 강도를 높였으나, 프라이버시 침해 문제에서 단점을 드러냈다. 이러한 단점을 보완한 AES기반에서의 개선된 RFID 프라이버시 보호 프로토콜은 실제적으로 태그에 구현 가능한 AES를 이용한 암호화 체인을 통해서 프라이버시 보호에 우수하면서 실제 사용이 가능한 프로토콜을 제안하였다[1]. 그러나, 이 프로토콜은 생성되는 키 값들이 물리적 공격을 통해서 노출이 되었을 때, 이전의 seed값과 키 값들이 노출 되는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제들을 해결하고자 프라이버시보호에 새로운 키 생성 방법을 통한 강력한 프로토콜을 제안 한다.하였으나 사료효율은 증진시켰으며, 후자(사양, 사료)와의 상호작용은 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 결과는 거세비육돈에서 1) androgen과 estrogen은 공히 자발적인 사료섭취와 등지방 침적을 억제하고 IGF-I 분비를 증가시키며, 2) 성선스테로이드호르몬의 이 같은 성장에 미치는 효과의 일부는 IGF-I을 통해 매개될 수도 있을을 시사한다. 약 $70 {\~} 90\%$의 phenoxyethanol이 유상에 존재하였다. 또한, 미생물에 대한 항균력도 phenoxyethanol이 수상에 많이 존재할수록 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 따라서, 제형 내 oil tomposition을 변화시킴으로써 phenoxyethanol의 사용량을 줄일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 피부 투과를 감소시켜 보다 피부 자극이 적은 저자극 방부시스템 개발이 가능하리라 보여 진다. 첨가하여 제조한 curd yoghurt는 저장성과 관능적인 면에서 우수한 상품적 가치가 인정되는 새로운 기능성 신제품의 개발에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료되었다. 여자의 경우 0.8이상이 되어서 심혈관계 질환의 위험 범위에 속하는 수준이었다. 삼두근의 두겹 두께는 남녀 각각 $20.2\pm8.58cm,\;22.2\pm4.40mm$으로 남녀간에 유의한 차이는 없었다. 조사대상자의 식습관 상태는 전체 대상자의 $84.4\%$가 대부분이 하루 세끼 식사를 규칙적으로 하고 있었으며 식사속도는 허겁지겁 빨리 섭취하는 경우가 남자는 $31.0\%$, 여자는 $21.4\%$로 나타났고 이들을 제외한 나머지 사람들은 보통 속도 혹은 충분한 시간을 가지고 식사를 하였다. 평소 식사량은 조금 적게 혹은 적당하게 섭취하는 사람이 대부분이었으며 남자가 여자보다는 배부르게 먹는 경 향이 유의적으로 높았다(p<0.05). 식사는 혼자 하는 경우가 남자

Rectal Balloon for the Immobilization of the Prostate Internal Motion (전립선암의 방사선치료 시 직장풍선의 유용성 평가)

  • Purpose : The using of endo-rectal balloon has proposed as optimal method that minimized the motion of prostate and the dose of rectum wall volume for treated prostate cancer patients, so we make the customized rectal balloon device. In this study, we analyzed the efficiency of the Self-customized rectal balloon in the aspects of its reproducibility. Materials and Methods : In 5 patients, for treatment planning, each patient was acquired CT slice images in state of with and without rectal balloon. Also they had CT scanning samely repeated third times in during radiation treatment (IMRT). In each case, we analyzed the deviation of rectal ballon position and verified the isodose distribution of rectum wall at closed prostate. Results : Using the rectal balloon, we minimized the planning target volume (PTV) by decreased the internal motion of prostate and overcome the dose limit of radiation therapy in prostate cancer by increased the gap between the rectum wall and high dose region. Conclusion : The using of rectal balloon, although, was reluctant to treat by patients. View a point of immobilization of prostate internal motion and dose escalation of GTV (gross tumor volume), its using consider large efficients for treated prostate cancer patients.

Efficient Multi-spot Monitoring System Using PTZ Camera and Wireless Sensor Network (PTZ 카메라와 무선 센서 네트워크를 이용한 효율적인 다중 지역 절전형 모니터링 시스템)

  • Recently, the cameras which used for observation are installed in children protection area and local crime prevention area in order to protect life and property and by its work being recognized and are installed more. Normal cameras have cost problem to observe multiple area and detail, because they can observe only one place. PTZ camera can observe multiple area by moving focus by schedule or remote control, but it can't automatically move the focus of it to the place where event occurred, because it can't recognize the place. In this study, we can monitor multiple area effectively, by installing a wireless sensor node equipped with temperature, lighting, gas and human detection sensor to each area, to monitor many place low-price and actively and to move the focus of PTZ camera to preset position, and send recorded video to the user, when the various sensor data received from wireless sensors in observation area are to be determined abnormal by analyzing. In addition, at night we can record a scene using infrared, but to reduce power consumption of lighting system which are installed to improve resolution, it supplies power to the lighting system when event occurred. So we were able to implement low power green monitoring system.

  • Digital twin is a technology that virtualizes physical objects of the real world on a computer. It is used by collecting sensor data through IoT, and using the collected data to connect physical objects and virtual objects in both directions. It has an advantage of minimizing risk by tuning an operation of virtual model through simulation and responding to varying environment by exploiting experiments in advance. Recently, artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies have been attracting attention, so that tendency to virtualize a behavior of physical objects, observe virtual models, and apply various scenarios is increasing. In particular, recognition of each robot's motion is needed to build digital twin for co-robot which is a heart of industry 4.0 factory automation. Compared with modeling based research for recognizing motion of co-robot, there are few attempts to predict motion based on sensor data. Therefore, in this paper, an experimental environment for collecting current and inertia data in co-robot to detect the motion of the robot is built, and a motion prediction model based on the collected sensor data is proposed. The proposed method classifies the co-robot's motion commands into 9 types based on joint position and uses current and inertial sensor values to predict them by accumulated learning. The data used for accumulating learning is the sensor values that are collected when the co-robot operates with margin in input parameters of the motion commands. Through this, the model is constructed to predict not only the nine movements along the same path but also the movements along the similar path. As a result of learning using SVM, the accuracy, precision, and recall factors of the model were evaluated as 97% on average.

Stereo Matching For Satellite Images using The Classified Terrain Information (지형식별정보를 이용한 입체위성영상매칭)

  • For an atomatic generation of DEM(Digital Elevation Model) by computer, it is a time-consumed work to determine adquate matches from stereo images. Correlation and evenly distributed area-based method is generally used for matching operation. In this paper, we propose a new approach that computes matches efficiantly by changing the size of mask window and search area according to the given terrain information. For image segmentation, at first edge-preserving smoothing filter is used for preprocessing, and then region growing algorithm is applied for the filterd images. The segmented regions are classifed into mountain, plain and water area by using MRF(Markov Random Filed) model. Maching is composed of predicting parallex and fine matching. Predicted parallex determines the location of search area in fine matching stage. The size of search area and mask window is determined by terrain information for each pixel. The execution time of matching is reduced by lessening the size of search area in the case of plain and water. For the experiments, four images which are covered $10km{\times}10km(1024{\times}1024\;pixel)$ of Taejeon-Kumsan in each are studied. The result of this study shows that the computing time of the proposed method using terrain information for matching operation can be reduced from 25% to 35%.

Development of Quality Assurance Program for the On-board Imager Isocenter Accuracy with Gantry Rotation (갠트리 회전에 의한 온-보드 영상장치 회전중심점의 정도관리 프로그램 개발)

  • Positional accuracy of the on-board imager (OBI) isocenter with gantry rotation was presented in this paper. Three different type of automatic evaluation methods of discrepancies between therapeutic and OBI isocenter using digital image processing techniques as well as a procedure stated in the customer acceptance procedure (CAP) were applied to check OBI isocenter migration trends. Two kinds of kV x-ray image set obtained at OBI source angle of $0^{\circ},\;90^{\circ},\;180^{\circ},\;270^{\circ}$ and every $10^{\circ}$ and raw projection data for cone-beam CT reconstruction were used for each evaluation method. Efficiencies of the methods were also estimated. If a user needs to obtain an isocenter variation map with full gantry rotation, a method taking OBI image for every $10^{\circ}$ and fitting with 5th order polynomial was appropriate. However for a mere quality assurance (QA) purpose of OBI isocenter accuracy, it was adequate to use only four OBI Images taken at the OBI source angle of $0^{\circ},\;90^{\circ},\;180^{\circ}\;and\;270^{\circ}$. Maximal discrepancy was 0.44 mm which was observed between the OBI source angle of $90^{\circ}\;and\;180^{\circ}$ OBI isocenter accuracy was maintained below 0.5 mm for a year. Proposed QA program may be helpful to Implement a reasonable routine QA of the OBI isocenter accuracy without great efforts.

Usefulness of Customized Cervical Spine Immobilizer in Head & Neck Image-Guided Radiation Therapy with Tomotherapy® (토모테라피를 이용한 두경부암 영상유도 방사선 치료 시 개인별 경추고정용구의 유용성 평가)

  • Purpose : Standardized pillow may not support patient's individual cervical spine thoroughly when head and neck radiation therapy with $Tomotherapy^{(R)}$. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to make a comparative analysis for the difference of using standardized pillow only and using customized cervical spine immobilizer with standardized pillow. Materials and Methos : The head and neck cancer patients who are treated image-guided radiation therapy(IGRT) with $Tomotherapy^{(R)}$ were divided into two groups, 20 patients using standardized pillow only, and 20 patients using customized cervical spine immobilizer with standardized pillow. We achieved 20 mega-voltage computed tomography(MVCT) image per patient, compared curvature of the cervical spine in MVCT with curvature of the cervical spine in CT-simulation. Results : Results of comparative analysis were curvature consistency 95.9 %, maximum error of distance 41.9 mm, average distance error per fractionation 19.4 mm, average standard deviation 1.34 mm in case of using standardized pillow only, curvature consistency 98.9 %, maximum error of distance 12.9 mm, average distance error per fractionation 5.8 mm, average standard deviation 0.59 mm in case of using customized cervical spine immobilizer with standardized pillow. Conclusion : Using customized cervical spine immobilizer shows higher reproducibility and low distance error, therefore customized cervical spine immobilizer could be useful for head and neck cancer patients who need radiation therapy.
