Radar, Vision, Lidar Fusion-based Environment Sensor Fault Detection Algorithm for Automated Vehicles (레이더, 비전, 라이더 융합 기반 자율주행 환경 인지 센서 고장 진단)

  • For automated vehicles, the integrity and fault tolerance of environment perception sensor have been an important issue. This paper presents radar, vision, lidar(laser radar) fusion-based fault detection algorithm for autonomous vehicles. In this paper, characteristics of each sensor are shown. And the error of states of moving targets estimated by each sensor is analyzed to present the method to detect fault of environment sensors by characteristic of this error. Each estimation of moving targets isperformed by EKF/IMM method. To guarantee the reliability of fault detection algorithm of environment sensor, various driving data in several types of road is analyzed.

Test of Fault Detection to Solar-Light Module Using UAV Based Thermal Infrared Camera (UAV 기반 열적외선 카메라를 이용한 태양광 모듈 고장진단 실험)

  • Recently, solar power plants have spread widely as part of the transition to greater environmental protection and renewable energy. Therefore, regular solar plant inspection is necessary to efficiently manage solar-light modules. This study implemented a test that can detect solar-light module faults using an UAV based thermal infrared camera and GIS spatial analysis. First, images were taken using fixed UAV and an RGB camera, then orthomosaic images were created using Pix4D SW. We constructed solar-light module layers from the orthomosaic images and inputted the module layer code. Rubber covers were installed in the solar-light module to detect solar-light module faults. The mean temperature of each solar-light module can be calculated using the Zonalmean function based on temperature information from the UAV thermal camera and solar-light module layer. Finally, locations of solar-light modules of more than $37^{\circ}C$ and those with rubber covers can be extracted automatically using GIS spatial analysis and analyzed specifically using the solar-light module's identifying code.

  • This paper describes the control system which was designed and implemented for a new automatic welding equipment. The system has the self diagnostic function which facilitates maintenance and repairs, and also has the network function via which the welding task data call be transmitted and the welding process data can be monitored.

  • As functional requirements of automatic office machines like printers, ATMs, copying machines are on a trend for the higher speed and precision, extensive technical advances are being developed and implemented in the industry. Media transport system is a device to convey a sheet of paper in ATMs and printers. The stability of media transport system is a matter of concern as their operating throughput rapidly increases. And defects of belts or rollers in a transport system directly affect the level of stability of the system. Therefore an automatic diagnostic system for predicting various defects is necessary for the stable operation of the media transport system. A simulation based on multi-body dynamics has been done for a feasibility study of a system design for the defect anticipation.

  • EV의 중요한 부품은 MCU(인버터), BMS(고전압), LCD(저전압 충전장치), OBC(완속충전장치), EWP(냉각장치), PTC(히터), A/C(에어컨) 등으로 구성되어 있으며, 특히 EV용 인버터의 경우 핵심 부품으로 신뢰성 및 보호기능에 대한 중요성이 인식되고 있다. EV 인버터는 온도(인버터, 모터), 단락과 단선, 인터락 및 최대출력제한 등에 대한 보호기능 구현이 되어 있으며, 고장발생시 고장을 진단할 수 있는 기능(DTC)이 구현되어 있다. 이러한 보호기능 중에 단락과 단선 시 인버터의 보호는 중요한 요소이며, 이를 구현하기 위한 회로설계 및 회로분석이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 EV용 인버터에 사용되는 병렬 운전형 인버터의 단락 및 단선 시 시스템을 보호할 수 있는 드라이버 회로 설계 및 분석을 수행하며, 실험을 통해 그 결과를 검증한다.

  • Engine misfire causes of the negative effect on exhaust emission such as HC, CO, and NOX . Moreover, it causes damage to the three-way-catalyst(TWC) system permanently. The crankshaft velocity fluctuation(CVF) method has been applied for the real cars as misfire detection system usually, which utilizes the crank angle sensor input to calculate the variation of the crankshaft rotational speed. But this approach has the limit due to the fact that three could be problem under certain engine condition like as deceleration or high speed condition . Therefore the development of new methods are requested today. This study introduced the new method of misfire detection using breakdown voltage(BDV) characteristics between spark plug electrouds.

  • 자동차 산업은 관련 기술의 진전과 함께 비약적인 발전을 거듭하여 신뢰성 및 안정성의 확보뿐만 아니라, 운전자의 편리성과 같은 새로운 기능 구현을 위한 연구개발이 가속화되고 있다. 최근 각종 텔레매틱스 서비스를 위해 차량 내 기능의 신뢰성과 성능을 향상시키기 위한 자동 조절의 필요성이 증가하고 있으며, 각종 기능에 대한 전자통신 시스템을 사용한 제어 및 네트워크의 통합화가 급속히 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 CAN(Controller Area Network)과 같은 네트워크 개념의 도입으로 차내 전선사용의 감소뿐만 아니라 제어 및 고장의 진단을 용이하게 하고 차량 내 안전성의 개선 및 자동차 품질과 비용 절감을 기대할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 CAN Protocol을 분석하고 차량 내 제어 데이터 전송을 위해 CAN을 통한 통신 시스템을 구현 및 검증하였다.

  • Machine tool state monitoring is a process that automatically detects the states of machine. In the manufacturing process, the efficiency of machining and the quality of the product are affected by the condition of the tool. Wear and broken tools can cause more serious problems in process performance and lower product quality. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a system to prevent tool wear and damage during the process so that the tool can be replaced in a timely manner. This paper proposes a method for diagnosing five tool states using a deep learning-based hierarchical convolutional neural network to change tools at the right time. The one-dimensional acoustic signal generated when the machine cuts the workpiece is converted into a frequency-based power spectral density two-dimensional image and use as an input for a convolutional neural network. The learning model diagnoses five tool states through three hierarchical steps. The proposed method showed high accuracy compared to the conventional method. In addition, it will be able to be utilized in a smart factory fault diagnosis system that can monitor various machine tools through real-time connecting.

  • 공장 내에서 부적절한 배선 및 설치 등에 의하여 검사과정을 수행할 경우 noise나 오결선을 유발시키며, 이는 측정해야할 신호가 부적절한 동작을 발생시키거나 검사가 되어 출하 후에 하지 않아도 될 A/S 지원을 해야 하는 등의 추가 경비가 소요되는 문제까지도 야기시킬 수 있다. 이때, 사용자측에서 발생될 불만에 따른 회사 및 제품의 신뢰도 저하는 더 큰 문제가 아닐 수 없다. 본 개발에서는 GUI(Graphic User Interface) 환경과 통신기술을 접목하여 다양한 제품의 검사를 위한 시스템을 개발하고자 한다.

  • DURUMI-II is developed into test bed airplane for the multi-purpose flight test. It satisfied the civil aeronautics law. DURUMI-II is equipped with Airborne System for acquiring of flight test data and can fly by oneself. In this paper, the redundancy of DURUMI-II control system is operated sequentially is explained. The divided control surface and the requiring program method for flight test are described. Also, it is described that the exact control input is applied using the new method. Finally, the results of flight test for new method are analyzed.
