In this paper, I intend to focus on the 1991 racial tension and violence portrayed in Anna Devear Smith's book Fires in the Mirror, which was published in book form in 1993. I make use of a series of interviews with many of those involved in the conflicts, which were based on the Jewish Holocaust and the history of African American enslavement. In Crown Heights, the black community and the Jewish community have each suffered terrible losses, but individuals and communities become rhetorically attached to foundational historical traumas that lie at the center of each group's cultural identity rather than try to understand each other's pain. Smith lets this rhetoric dominate Fires in the Mirror by putting contradictory monologues side by side in order to show how discourses on 'slavery' and 'the Holocaust' still have control over specific ethnic communities. My intention is not to delve into the conflict between the Jewish and black communities exclusively. Rather, I attempt to form an understanding of the problems of the critical/theoretical tenets proposed by 'the rhetoric of holocaust,' including the Jewish Holocaust and the black experience of enslavement. Such an understanding will help us see the failure in the theories, illuminating the ways that such rhetoric should have recognized its own violence and helped to forge a new relationship between racism and anti-Semitism. Fires in the Mirror mirrors back to us the ways that 'the Holocaust' betrays the possibility of error to indicate its own susceptibility to blindness. The cracks brought forth by conflicting narratives enable readers to observe wounds being healed and the possibility of new narrative looming up.

'Thinking and Expression' develops comprehensive problem-solving ability to solve various problems in life and society by cultivating thinking skills such as creative, logical, reflective thinking, and connected thinking and communication ability to communicate one's thoughts through writing and speaking. This is a college basic liberal arts course established to improve students. The purpose of this study is to introduce the case of rewriting of literature reading and healing performed as an extension of storytelling learning in 'Thinking and Expression' class. In class, we read Michel Tournier's short story "Let Joy Remain in Me" and shared our feelings about the final scene of the work. Then, we each presented a question that came to mind as we read the work, and we shared our thoughts with the members of the group. Next, the students created the content that will follow the last scene of the work with the direction of healing. Through this, we tried to read the work carefully and deeply appreciate its contents, and we had time to feel the creative experience of the reader re-creating the meaning of the work and the effect of healing rewriting. Then, we turned the direction of reflection to the realm of the reader's own life and expressed their desired future self in writing, imagining that it had already been realized. Through this, we tried to discover the meaning of practical rewriting towards self-actualization.

This study is a life history on self-realization of woman in the abstinence of alcohol process. The purpose of the study is to explore the circumstance of female alcoholism, to expand the prospect of discussion for treatment and recovery, and to suggest social welfare intervention measures. The study involved a female alcoholic who had been recovering for more than seven years, and the text for life history analysis was divided into 'dimension of life', 'turning point' and 'adaptation' based on the life history analysis framework proposed by Mandelbaum. As a result of the data analysis, 'dimension of life' was analyzed into three areas, such as the personal level of life, the family level of life, and the social dimension. 'Turning point' is to escape from a father who drinks alcohol and uses violence, to give up his job to avoid boss's abuse, and to proceed one's own way of healing. 'Adaptation' was derived into good at studying, relieving anger by drinking alcohol, and referring to AA and self-realization. Based on these findings, this study presented the social welfare practice and policy discussion focused on self-realization.

The recent rapid increase in single-person households has had a significant impact on the art performance market as well as the overall consumption trend. With the proportion of one-person viewers in the form of viewing the performance nearly half, the new term "Hongongjok" is widely used. Representing the trends of 'one-person consumption' and 'consumption for me' is the concept of 'self-gift' that consumes special for myself. This study introduced the concept of self-gift as a framework for understanding a new group of performance viewers who lavishly investing in consumption for one's sake. It also demonstrated how self-gift motivation affects the perceived value and the intention of self-gift. As a result of the analysis, the motivation for reward, therapeutic personal disappointment, and therapeutic negative mood reduction of the self-gift had a significant effect on the intention of self-gift through the perceived value of classical music performances. In addition, it was also revealed through the multi-group analysis that there was a significant difference in the effect of self-gift motivation factors between a single viewer and two or more accompanying viewers. This study contributes to the fact that the art performance industry can be provided the first theoretical basis for understanding these customer groups in order to respond to the consumption trend for one-person viewers. It also offered practical implications for revitalizing the stagnant classical music performance market by framing the art performance as a self-gift.

Objectives : In this study I made investigations how 'strange hunger' and 'compulsive overeating' threatening the ego could be resolved and healed. And I aim to present a healing model of psychotherapy and analysis as one of methods of treatment for 'eating disorder'. Methods : The analysands of this study were outpatients who visited the department of psychiatry of Yong-In Mental Hospital from March 2008 to February 2017 with 'hunger' and 'compulsive overeating' as their chief complaints. This study is based on the detailed records of the process of analysis including dreams and visions. Results : 1) Throughout the process of analysis that explore both consciousness and unconsciousness(dream, vision), hunger and compulsive overeating is improved and healed in all analysands. 2) The Imago of 'Snake' appeared in dreams and visions of all analysands. 3) By suffering impulse rather than acting it out, impulse transformes itself into 'Imago'. As impulse transforms into 'Imago' and reveals the 'meaning' of it, ego-threatening power of impulse weakens and mood is calmed. And as a result, synthesis of consciousness and unconsciousness and creative transformation of personality can be possible. Conclusions : In some people, 'hunger' and 'compulsive overeating' are 'creative impulses' that aim 'Self-realization' which can be fruited as creative transformation of personality and as creative transformation in the relation with the world. 'Creative impulses', which often can be experienced as instinctive impulse or emotional suffering unless ego realizes the meaning, reveal the meaning in dreams or visions through 'Imago' and 'Symbol'.

In the purpose of this study, the college textbooks of self-narrative writing and examples of classroom practice are analyzed to find a way to educate it. The self- narrative writing subject with a learning of recognization, expression, and communication with oneself, emphasizes the necessity when they become college students through entrance exam-oriented education. The research methods are as follows. Firstly, three university textbooks which include a section on self-narrative writing were compared and analyzed. The analysis highlights the needs for a textbook covering self-narrative writing more extensively and comprehensively as what is offered by the existing textbooks is limited in facilitating students to fully develop the ability of self-reflection, which should be dealt as a long-term goal. Secondly, the current discussion on self-narrative writing and examples of real classroom practice were analyzed. It shows that a step-by-step approach is required to encourage the practice of deep self-reflection to be incorporated into writing. In addition, during the writing process, various correction and feedback activities should be carried out on a macro level and gradually while the communication and feedback should take place not only between a teacher and students, but also among students. As a result, it is expected that this study will help establish a teaching model of self-narrative writing by seeking complementary points and educational directions for self-narrative writing.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the experience of dysfunctional family's sons and daughters in bibliotherapy program. To do this, this study collected its data through writings, speaking and term papers of 6 undergraduate students experiencing bibliotherapy program. The collected data were analyzed by phenomenological methods. As a result, the participants experienced 1) recognition of trauma and problems, 2) sympathy and identification, 3) self insight and self understanding, 4) expressing their will to recover trauma and finding solutions, 5) affirmative change, maturity and healing. And also they went through thinking and feeling dynamically in the bibliotherapy program. These results show that the bibliotherapy program helps dysfunctional family's sons and daughters solve their problems and trauma.

In order to assess the effects on the magnetic properties due to the defect in the material irradiated by fast neutron ranging $10^0-10^{18}n/cm^2$, the magnetic properties such as maximum magnetic induction, coercivity, remanence, Barkhausen Noise Amplitude(BNA), Barkhausen Noise Energy(BNE) and hardness were measured. It is shown that the magnetic properties and hardness do not change by the fast neutron irradiation under $10^{17}n/cm^2$. Therefore, in this experiment, it is understood that the magnetic properties decrease by the increase of hardness. This measurement method can be used to evaluate the neutron irradiation embrittlement nondestructively since the magnetic properties and hardness do change by the neutron irradiation over $10^{17}n/cm^2$ consistently.

발음성 삼두근 증후군은 주관절을 굴곡하거나 신전할 때 삼두근 말단부 일부와 척골 신경이 내상과 전방으로 탈구되는 드문 질환이다. 이학적 검사 만으로는 다른 질환으로 오진되는 경우가 많아 정확한 진단이 필수적이며 확진을 위하여는 척골 신경 및 삼두근의 비정상적인 움직임을 관찰할 수 있는 영상 검사가 필요하다. 초음파 검사는 자기 공명 영상 촬영 등 다른 검사에 비해 간편하고 효과적으로 연부 조직의 동적 검사를 시행할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 저자들은 발음성 삼두근 증후군 환자를 동적 초음파 검사를 사용하여 진단하고 척골 신경 전방 전위술 및 삼두근 내두의 이전술을 시행하여 치유하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 초음파 검사의 유용성을 보고하고자 한다.

This report is to introduce a specific acupuncture methods as a cosmetic treatment. I applied wu-xing(五行) acupuncture technique to 11 patients for smooth out skin wrinkles. There were visual improvement of patients' facial skin. This methods cuts SMAS, stimulates dermis, and helps to recover skin volume and generate new dermal tissue by wound-healing mechanism.
