  • The self-organizing super peer ring P2P search scheme improves search performance of the existing unstructured peer-to-peer systems, in which super peers with high capacity constitute a ring structure and all peer in the system utilize the ring for publishing or querying their keys. In this paper, we further improves the performance of the self-organizing ring by adaptively changing its super peer ratio according to the status of the entire system. By using PSO, the optimized super peer ratio can be maintained within the system. Through simulations, we show that our self-organizing super peer ring optimized by PSO outperforms not only the fixed super peer ring but also the self-organizing super ring with fixed ratio in the aspect of query success rate.

  • This study is a descriptive survey study for nurses in general hospitals to understand the effects of self-leadership, self-efficacy, and organizational commitment on safety management activities. The subjects of the study were nurses at three general hospitals located in G City. An online survey was conducted in consideration of the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Data collection was from August 20 to August 30, 2021. As a result of the study, self-leadership (r=.618, p<.001), self-efficacy (r=306, p<.001), organizational immersion (r=0518, p<.001) showed a positive correlation with safety management activities. In addition, self-leadership, self-efficacy, and organizational commitment explained 38.2% of safety management activities (F=20.478, p<.001). Therefore, it would be helpful to provide regular leadership education and self-efficacy education to increase patient management activities of general hospital nurses. In addition, if a positive work environment, legal standards for nurse work, and an appropriate compensation system are established to improve organizational commitment, it will have a positive effect on environmental safety management activities.

  • The purposes of this study were to check the effects of positivity and family communication on organizational commitment among long-term professional soldiers and examine the mediating effects of self-efficacy between them. For those purposes, the study conducted a survey with 241 long-term professional soldiers after getting an approval for cooperation from army, navy, air force, and marine units for research on professional soldiers from Ministry of National Defense in 2015. Collected data were treated with the SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 programs to analyze the relations. The findings were as follows: first, the organizational commitment of long-term professional soldiers had positive correlations with their positivity, family communication, and self-efficacy. Secondly, the study conducted analysis by taking into consideration all the variables affecting their organizational commitment and found that the fitness of measuring and structural models was good, that their positivity and family communication had positive impacts on their organizational commitment, and that their self-efficacy had partial mediating effects between them. Based on those findings, the study proposed effective implications for the organizational commitment of professional soldiers.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of human resource flexibility on organizational commitment and to verify the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between human resource flexibility and organizational commitment. In order to achieve this research purpose, a survey was conducted on employees working in the service industry in China, and the results of the analysis are as follows. First, it was found that technological flexibility, behavioral flexibility, and relationship flexibility, which are sub-factors of human resource flexibility, all had a significant positive effect on organizational commitment. Second, as a result of verifying the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between human resource flexibility and organizational commitment, it was verified that self-efficacy has a partial mediating effect in the relationship between technological flexibility, behavioral flexibility, relationship flexibility, and organizational commitment. Finally, the implications of this study were presented and the future research direction was discussed.

  • The study analyzed convergent influence on occupational stress(KOSS-SF: Korean Occupational Stress Scale-Short Form) and its association with Organizational Justice(OJ), Self Esteem(RSE :Rosenberg Self-Esreem) and Self Efficacy(GSE: Generalized Self-Efficacy) among some regional General Hospital Administrative Staff(GHAS). The survey was administered to 221 staff from 11 general hospitals located in J city from Nov. 1st, 2016 to Jan. 31st, 2017, by structured self-administered questionaries. Occupational stress was negatively correlated with two sub-domains of OJ, RES and GSE. With the analysis of covariance structure, we identified the causal relationship of OJ, RES, GSE and occupational stress among GHAS. The study found the higher OJ, RES and GSE tend to decrease occupational stress. The results indicate that the efforts, to increase OJ, RSE and GSE, are required to decrease the occupational stress of GHAS. The results are expected to be useful for organization & HR management to decrease the occupational stress of GHAS. In the following study, the analysis about convergent additional factors of influence on occupational stress of GHAS will be needed.

  • This study was conducted to clarify the mediating effects of self-efficacy and organizational commitment on the level of depression associated with emotional labor and occupational stress of call center representatives. The survey subjects were 486 representatives working in four call centers in D city. Data collection was conducted using structured, self-addressed questionnaires from January 5th to 25th, 2017. The results showed that the depression level of the representatives was significantly higher in the emotional labor and occupational stress groups and higher in the low self-efficacy and organizational commitment groups. The correlations between variables revealed a positive correlation between depression, emotional labor, and occupational stress, but a negative correlation between self-efficacy and organizational commitment. Path model analysis revealed that emotional labor and occupational stress had positive effects on depression, while self-efficacy and organizational commitment was negatively influenced. In addition, self-efficacy and organizational commitment had a mediating effect on emotional labor and depression, while organizational commitment had a mediating effect on occupational stress and depression. Therefore, to reduce the depression level of call center representatives, it is necessary to reduce the emotional labor and occupational stress factors, as well as to have a mental health mediation plan to increase self-efficacy and organizational commitment.

  • Purpose : To evaluate the correlation of lesion-to-normal ratio (LNR) of signal intensity from double inversion recovery MR imaging and total choline-containing compound (tCho) resonance from single voxel MR spectroscopy in breast cancers. Materials and Methods: Between August 2008 and December 2009, 28 patients who were diagnosed as breast cancer and had undergone both double inversion recovery (DIR) MR imaging and MR spectroscopy (MRS) were included in this study. The signal intensities of the lesion (L) and ipsilateral normal breast tissue (N) were measured in region of interest of each breast cancer in DIR and contrast enhance MR image (CE-T1WI) to calculate the LNR value for each technique. MRS was performed using single-voxel MR spectroscopy. The height, width and area of tCho resonance were compared with each LNR of DIR and CE-T1WI. We used Pearson's correlation coefficient(r) for correlation analysis and the significance level was p=0.05. Results: There was no statistically significant correlation between LNR of CE-T1WI and height (r=-0.322, p=0.094), width (r=-0.233, p=0.232) and area (r=-0.309, p=0.109) of MRS tCho. There was no statistically significant correlation between LNR of DIR and height (r=0.067, p=0.735), width (r=-0.287, p=0.139) and area (r=0.012, p=0.953) of MRS tCho, either. The Pearson's correlation coefficient was 0.186 between LNRs of CET1WI and DIR (p=0.344). Conclusion: There was no statistically significant correlation between LNR of DIR and relative amount of tCho resonance of MRS.
