The Effects of Heat-treatment on Magnetic Properties for Gas-atomized MPP Dust Cores (가스분무법으로 제조한 MPP 분말코어의 자기적 특성에 미치는 열처리 효과)

  • The effects of heat-treatment with magnetic or non-magnetic field on magnetic properties of gas-atomized MPP dust cores subjected to various cooling processes after annealing were investigated. Upon magnetic-field annealing, ac permeability and core loss decreased with the increase of cooling rate, which were attributed to the generation of inhomogeneous internal stress and anomalous eddy current loss, respectively. It was not observed the formation of ordered phase and the related change in magnetic properties at the cooling stage for MPP dust cores. In MPP alloys, magnetic anisotropy was easily induced through the directional order, and permeability and core loss were changed under the conditions of low cooling rate and magnetic annealing.

  • The basic soft magnetic characteristics of a typical Fe based amorphous $Fe_{80}B_{15}Si_{5}$ alloy were measured with pulse metheod. Quantitative relations between magnetostriction, anisotropy energy, reluctivity were investigated. The relative contribution factor of magnetostrictive and uniaxial anisotropy energy to the reluctivity were calculated. The internal stress and induced anisotropy were estimated. A tension applied to the long axis of the sample greatly enhanced induced anisotropy.

  • 자기장하에서 액체 성질인 유동성과 고체 성질인 자성을 갖는 강자성/자기흐름 유체의 제조방법, 강자성/자기흐름 유체의 조성 및 미세구조와 유체 매트릭스의 구조에 따른 자기특성과 강자성/자기흐름 유체의 물리적, 기계적 성질을 조사하고 최근 연구개발되고 있는 전기흐름유체(electrorheological fluid)의 특성과 비교하였으며, 또한 이를 바탕으로 방탄복에 대한 적용성을 검토하였다.

  • 강자성체의 스핀 분극을 이용하는 스핀트로닉스에 대한 연구는 매우 활발히 이루어지고 있다. CoFe 합금은 큰 포화자화와 스핀분극 때문에 스핀트로닉스 재료로 널리 이용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Ion Beam Etching 방법으로 CoFe 박막을 미세 가공 할 때 에칭 조건에 따른 CoFe 박막의 자기적 특성 변화를 조사하였다. 에칭 변수가 에칭에 미치는 영향을 사전에 조사하기 위하여 Cu 박막에 대하여 에칭시간, 기울임 각도, 가속 전압을 변화시키면서 식각한 후 거칠기 변화를 조사하였다. (중략)

  • This work presents field-dependent Bingham and response characteristics of MR fluids under shear and flow modes. Two different types of magneto-viscometers are designed and manufactured for the shear and flow modes. respectively. For the MR fluid to be tested, MRF-132LD of Lord co. is employed. The field-dependent yield stress is experimentally distilled at various temperatures using the magneto-viscometers. Time responses of the MR fluids to step electric fields are also evaluated under two operating modes.

  • We have studied the electrical and magnetic transport properties of tunneling device with FePt magnetic quantum dots. The FePt nanoparticles with a diameter of 8~15 nm were embedded in a $SiO_2$ layer through thermal annealing process at temperature of $800^{\circ}C$ in $N_2$ gas ambient. The electrical properties of the tunneling device were characterized by current-voltage (I-V) measurements under the perpendicular magnetic fields at various temperatures. The nonlinear I-V curves appeared at 20 K, and then it was explained as a conductance blockade by the electron hopping model and tunneling effect through the quantum dots. It was measured also that the negative magneto-resistance ratio increased about 26.2% as increasing external magnetic field up to 9,000 G without regard for an applied electric voltage.

  • Fe-Si-C alloy system has been made by mechancial alloying process. The structural and magnetic properties were analysed as a function of processing times. The structural properties were investigated by X-ray diffraction and EXAFS experiments. The magnetic properties were measured by vibrating sample magnetometer and M ssbauer spectroscopy. As processing time increases, Si and C atoms diffuse into a ${\alpha}$-Fe structure and then bcc solid solution is formed after 12 hours of the processing time. The magnetization and the hyper fine field decreased steeply up to 4 hours and then it changed slowly. After 12 hours of the processing time, it almost saturated. These results were agreed with the structural variation.

Magnetic Properties of Mn and La-Mn Substituted Strontium Ferrite (Mn 및 La-Mn 치환 Sr 페라이트의 자기적 특성 변화)

  • These experiments were carried out to examine the effects of elemental substitution of Mn and La-Mn on Sr-ferrite. The calcined properties for the Mn and La-Mn substitution were examined, and the sintered magnetic properties were compared with the stoichiometric condition. The magnetic properties of calcined SrM and (La-Mn)$_{0.3}$-SrM composition were as follows, respectively; M$_{s}$ : 61.06 emu/g, $_{i}$H$_{c}$ : 4.45 kOe and M$_{s}$ : 61.06 emu/g, $_{i}$H$_{c}$ : 4.46 kOe. Also, the sintered ferrite magnets of Mn$_{0.3}$-SrM and [(La-Mn)$_{0.3}$-SrM exhibited a similar properties to the stoichiometric composition but the coercivity of (La-Mn)$_{x}$-SrM was decreased rapidly with x=0.5.

  • To achieve a high tunneling magneto resistance (TMR) of sputtered magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) with an MgO barrier, the annealing process is indispensable. The structural and compositional changes as consequences of the annealing greatly affect the spin-dependent transport properties of MTJs. Higher TMR could be obtained for MTJs annealed at higher annealing temperature. The diffusion of Ru, Mn and/or Ta in the MTJs may occur during annealing process, which is known to be detrimental to spin-dependent tunneling effect. The rapid thermal annealing (RTA) process was used for annealing the MTJs with synthetic antiferromagnets. To suppress the diffusion of Mn, Ru and/or Ta in the MTJs, the process time and temperature of RTA were minutely controlled.

Influence of Personality Traits, Social Support, and Career Decision Self-efficacy on Career Preparation Behavior in Nursing College Students (간호대학생의 성격특성, 사회적지지, 진로결정 자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was examined to confirm the influence of personality traits, social support, and career decision self-efficacy on career preparation behavior in nursing college students based on the social recognition career self-management model. The subjects were nursing students attending 3rd and 4th grade in two nursing colleges in Gwangju and Chonnam area. The 208 data collected were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis with SPSS 23.0 for windows. Personality traits, social support, and career decision self-efficacy were positively correlated with career preparedness behaviors. Conscientiousness and career decision self-efficacy were reported to have a statistically significant effect on career preparation behavior. Extraversion and social support were reported to have no statistically significant effect on career preparation behavior. These findings suggest that in order to promote career preparation behavior of nursing college students, the strategies to improve conscientiousness and career decision self-efficacy should be provided in nursing education field.
