Multistable Microactuators Functioning on the Basis of Electromagnetic Lorentz Force: Nonlinear Structural and Electrothermal Analyses (전자기 로렌츠력을 이용한 다중안정성 마이크로 액추에이터의 비선형 구조 및 전기-열 해석)

  • In this paper, the design and nonlinear simulation of a multistable electromagnetic microactuator, which provides four stable equilibrium positions within its operating range, have been discussed. Quadstable actuator motion has been made possible by using both X- and Y-directional bistable structures with snapping curved beams. Two pairs of the curved beams are attached to an inner frame in both X- and Y-directions to realize independent bistable behavior in each direction. For the actuation of the actuator at the micrometer scale, an electromagnetic actuation method in which Lorentz force is taken into consideration was used. By using this method, micrometer-stroke quadstability in a plane parallel to a substrate was possible. The feasibility of designing an actuator that can realize quadstable motion by using the electromagnetic actuation method has been thoroughly clarified by performing nonlinear static and dynamic analyses and electrothermal coupled-field analysis of the multistable microactuator.

Exploration of the Structure of Relational Self and Development of the Relational Self Scale among Korean Adults (한국 성인의 관계적 자기 구성요인 탐색 및 척도개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and verify the Relational Self Scale(RSS). Based on the theoretical assumptions which relational self is multi-dimensional and constructed in social contexts, 10 categories with 102 items were yielded. In the process of content analysis, item analysis, exploratory factor analysis and correlation analysis by administering 102 items to korean adults, 31 items with 7 factors are extracted. The 7 factors are consisted of 'avoidance of relation', 'consciousness of others', 'agency', 'instrumental relation', 'empathy-care', 'perceived support from relation' and 'over-dependency to relation'. Next, Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted with 649 korean adults aged from 20's to 60's. The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed the RSS as a valid scale. The 7 factors of the RSS fitted well with men and women. The internal consistency of the RSS was proved to be acceptable. The latent mean analysis indicated that the relational self was not significantly different between men and women at 7 factors. Correlation analysis showed that the construct of relational self was significantly related to relational self-construal, self-esteem and attachment to parent and intimacy person. This study has implication in that relational self is defined and assessed as multi-dimensional construct, and that by administering RSS it is possible to evaluate distinctive korean people's relational self.

A Self-Description File System for NAND Flash Memory (낸드 플래시 메모리를 위한 자기-서술 파일 시스템)

  • Conventional file systems for harddisk drive cannot be applied to NAND flash memory, because the physical characteristics of NAND flash memory differs from those of harddisk drive. To address this problem, various file systems with better reliability and efficiency have also been developed recently. However, those file systems have inherent overheads for updating the file's metadata pages, because those file systems save file's meta-data and data separately. Furthermore, those file systems have a critical reliability problem: file systems fail when either a page in meta-data of a file system or a file itself fails. In this paper, we propose a self-description page technique and In Memory Core File System technique to address these efficiency and reliability problems, and develop SDFS(Self-Description File System) newly. SDFS can be safely recovered, although some pages fail, and improves write and read performance by 36% and 15%, respectively, and reduces mounting time by 1/20 compared with YAFFS2.

  • Thermally stable diffusion barrier of tungsten carbon nitride(W-C-N) and of tungsten boron carbon nitride(W-B-C-N) thin films have studied to investigate the impurity behaviors of boron and nitrogen. In this paper we newly deposited tungsten boron carbon nitride(W-B-C-N) thin film for various $W_2B$ target power on silicon substrate. The impurities of the 100nm-thick W-C-N and W-B-C-N thin films provide stuffing effect for preventing the inter-diffusion between W-C-N or W-B-C-N thin films and silicon during the high temperature($700^{\circ}C{\sim}1000^{\circ}C$) annealing process.

  • 1. 서론 : 고분자/액정 복합막은 액정의 높은 분자운동성이 물질의확산에 기여하여 우수한 투과성을 나타낸다. 이 막은 3차원의 망상구조를 갖는 매트릭스 고분자내에 액정이 연속상으로 안정하게 분산된 상분리 구조를 가지고 있다. 이 복합막은 그러한 상분리 구조에 기인하여 자기지지형(self support LC) 복합막이라고도 한다. 복합막 중에 액정은 탄화수소가스에 대하여 높은 선택성을 나타내어 막속으로 흡착을 촉진하고 액정물질이 결정에서 액정으로 변화는 전이온도에서 투과계수가 100-200 증가한다고 보고하였다. (생략)

자장센서의 지상기능시험 데이터 분석을 통한 건전성 진단

  • 자장센서는 인공위성에 장착되어 궤도환경에서의 지자기장을 측정하는 센서로서 위성체의 자세결정과 자세제어 등에 활용된다. 일반적으로 자장센서는 원리와 응용범위에 따라 그 종류가 광범위하다. 응용되는 자기현상적으로 분류하면 Faraday 전자기 유도법칙을 이용한 방식, Hall Effect를 이용한 방식, 감지코일의 인덕턴스 변화와 와전류효과를 이용한 방식, 자속분포의 변화에 의한 유도기전력의 변화를 이용한 방식, 자기저항 변화효과를 이용한 방식 등이 있다. 그 중에서도 Faraday's Law를 이용하는 Fluxgate 자장센서가 구조가 비교적 간단하고 경량이며, 높은 신뢰성과 안정성을 가진다. 실제 위성을 발사하기전 지상에서는 위성체를 조립하고 전자파, 진동, 열진공 등과 같은 다양한 환경시험을 수행하는데, 이때 각 환경시험 수행을 전후로 자장센서의 극성시험, 응답시험 등과 같은 기능시험을 수행한다. 본 논문은 다양한 환경시험을 통해 수행한 Fluxgate 자장센서 기능시험 데이터에 대한 추이를 분석하여 위성 발사전 지상에서의 자장센서의 상태와 건전성을 진단하는 방법에 대하여 소개한다.

Identification of Negative Stiffness Effects in Magneto-Rheological Fluid based Squeeze Film Damper (자기유변유체를 이용한 스퀴즈 필름 댐퍼에서의 부강성 효과 규명)

  • In order to investigate the stability of magneto-rheological fluid based squeeze film damper (MR-SFD), its negative stiffness effect, which arises from magnetization of MR-SFD, is identified theoretically and experimentally. The analytical model of MR-SFD includes the magnetic circuit as well as the displacement stiffness associated with the squeeze mode of MRF. Extensive experiments are carried out to measure the magnetic attraction forces generated in the MR-SFD, with the excitation frequency and the eccentricity of the journal varied, which are controlled by an active magnetic bearing. The simulation and experimental results are found to be in good agreement. It is concluded that the negative stiffness effect dominates only in the low frequency region because its effect diminishes in the high frequency region due to the eddy-current loss.

Ideal MHD Beta Limit for Optimum Stable Operation of Axisymmetric Tokamak Reactor with a Circular Cross Section (원형 단면을 가진 축대칭형 토카막 핵융합로의 최적운전을 위한 이상적 자기유체역학 안전성을 유지하는 베타값의 최대한계)

  • A method for determining the optimum ideal MHD $\beta$limit and the operation conditions is presented for an axisymmetric tokamak reactor with a circular cross section. The $\beta$limit is calculated under the constraints of ideal MHD instability criteria with varying the operation conditions which depend on the toroidal current density distributions. Semiempirical laws deduced from experimental observations are used for the toroidal current density distributions. Analytic derivations of various equations required to determine the $\beta$limit are carried out from the empirical equations. Various distributions of the $\beta$limit are obtained by the numerical calculations for different distributions of the toroidal current density. The resulting values of the maximum $\beta$limited by ideal MHD instabilities are expressed by a scaling law in terms of the tokamak geometry and the safety factor.

The Effects of Subjective Norms on the Start-Up Intention: The Mediation Effect of Self-Efficacy and the Moderate Effect of Security Competence (대학생들의 주관적 규범이 창업의도에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감의 매개효과와 안정지향성의 조절효과)

  • Many university students try to start up a lot because of career uncertainty, and this study reflected this environmental situation. The subject of the study is the degree to which subjective norms of university students affect the start-up intention. In addition, we looked at the mediated effects of self-efficiency and the moderated effects of security competence. To verify the hypothesis of the study, 201 university students in Seoul were asked about the relevant variables. And based on prior theory, hypotheses and questionnaires were made. In addition, the validity, reliability and correlation analysis of each variable were conducted. Multiple regression analysis was used for hypothesis analysis. As a result, subjective norms have a positive effect on the start-up intention. Next, self-efficiency was found to be mediating the relationship between subjective norms and start-up intentions. Finally, when subjective norms affect the start-up intention, security competence showed negative moderate effect. The implications of this study are as follows: First, a positive perception of start-up by those around them is needed when it comes to raising the intention of starting a business. This positive perception also affects the confidence and sense of challenge in start-up and affects their start-up intention. However, if career anchor prefer stable employment for the organization, it can be seen that they negatively affect the start-up intention.

Self Compensating Flux-gate Magnetometer Using Microcomputer (마이크로컴퓨터를 이용한 자체 보상형 flux-gate 마그네토미터제작)

  • Flux-gate magnetometer has been still used for low field magnetic field measurement with portability, low power consumption, and high reliability. In many applications, flux-gate magnetometer measures not absolute values but changes of the earth magnetic field. For the eia magnetic field change measurements, we have constructed a high sensitive 3-axis flux-gate magnetometer of which measuring ranges is ${\pm}$1000 nT and noise level is 5pT/√㎐ at 1 ㎐. Using this magnetometer, we can compensate the earth magnetic field of ${\pm}$50,000 nT with successive approximation methods using microcomputer. After earth magnetic field compensation, we could measure earth magnetic field changes with ${\pm}$100 nT measuring ranges.
