The loan rate of the government loan program offered by the Small Business Corporation(SBC) can be determined as a sum of three factors such as a reference interest rate, a policy aim spread, and a credit risk spread. However the loan rate has been lower than the loan rate in the banking sector. The profit has continually run in the red figures and hence the stability the fund managed by the SBC has been damaged. Even though a policy aim spread could be emphasized, the stability and profitability of the fund should be prioritized. This means that the loan rate of the SBC should be determined such that the loss might not be occurred. This requires the policy aim spread to change from relatively large negative to near zero.
In general, the introduction of information technology to domestic small and middle size firms is depending on the governmental supporting policy. However, even under this situation there is also a case that the building up of information technology is initiated by the management of small and middle size firms. Based on the results of preceding researches that the uncertainty perceived by the private security guards about their roles exerts direct effects on the business performance of the security industry, it needs to preferentially examine the degree of authority that the private security guards have. The suitability of the psychological empowerment criteria for measuring this for private security guards, however, has not yet been established up to the present, so it can be said that the validity of the information has not yet been established. Accordingly, as the psychological empowerment criteria of private security guards, this research examined the suitability of items, reliability of items, the level of difficulty of items, and the item goodness of fit from the viewpoint of the appropriateness of category of responses, and it is summarized as follows. First, in the self-determinism factor of the psychological empowerment criteria, Item 11 was found to be an unsuitable item, so it is proper that Item 11 should be deleted when examining the psychological empowerment of private security guards from now on. Second, the item reliability of the psychological empowerment criteria was high, so the consistency of the results is shown even if the data are collected from the other private security guards. Third, they feel that it is hard to respond to Item 12 while they perceive that Item 1 is the easiest, and the level of items of the psychological empowerment criteria is evenly distributed. Fourth, it was established that the 5-point categories of the psychological empowerment criteria were suitable to the private security guards.

Consulting effects of enterprise management are paying off and growing in the country as well as worldwide. Consulting, the academic research foundation of the consulting classification is narrow and, therefore, the job satisfaction of the involved consultants has not been studied sufficiently. Although there were not enough references, I recognized that consulting industry would have a huge effects on business, I tried to draw the concept of the satisfaction of job performance of consultants in the point of the growth of industry itself, and I studied the correlation between consultant satisfaction and performance. It means, on the causes of consulting performance, the previous studies were quantitatively limited, but this study represents the new perspective and another way of thinking. As a result, this study showed that the performance is affected by the job satisfaction of consultants. Second, it showed that social support on consultants and consulting performance are highly related. Further more, a following-up study can use it to strengthen consulting capabilities such as, self development of consultants, how to make reasonable consulting payments, how to develop and how to establish direction of support policies for consulting. It is possible that this study can be policy data when policy to strengthen industrial competitiveness can be made on the basis of consulting.
Previous studies on information systems (IS) and finance suggest that information on stock message boards influence the investment decisions of individual investors. However, how information on online stock message boards influences an individual investor's buy or sell decisions is unclear. To address this research question, we investigate the relationship between a number of posts on stock message boards and order imbalance in stock markets. Order imbalance is defined as the difference between the daily sum of buy-side shares traded and the daily sum of sell-side shares traded. Therefore, order imbalance can suggest the direction of trades and the strength of the direction with trading volumes. In this regard, this study examines how the number of posts (information on stock message boards) influences order imbalance (stock trading behavior). We collected about 46,077 messages of 40 companies on the Korea Composite Stock Price Index from Paxnet, the most popular Korean online stock message board. The messages we collected were divided based on in-trading and after-trading hours to examine the relationship between the numbers of posts and trading volumes. We also collected order imbalance data on individual investors. We then integrated the balanced panel data sets and analyzed them through vector regression. We found that the number of posts on online stock message boards is positively related to prior order imbalance. We believe that our findings contribute to knowledge in IS and finance. Furthermore, this study suggests that investors should carefully monitor information on stock message boards to understand stock market sentiments.
Lots of virtual communities and online businesses presently derive their primary sources of revenues through advertising, but nevertheless are plagued with marginal profitability though they might possess a significant user base. In the light of the need for an efficacious business model, there have been recent insights of an online community in particular reaping profits through an innovative and lucrative revenue generation method that earns by selling digital items. There have been some obvious evidences (e.g., Cyworld, SecondLife, Habo Hotel, etc.) that online communities can be profitable through their unique business model of selling digital items. However, there is lack of understanding about the motivation of purchasing digital items. This study tries to identify the main motivators of digital item purchases based on social/individual identity theory and self-presentation theory. "Digital items", otherwise known as "virtual assets", may include online avatars, accessories for the avatars, decorative ornaments like furniture, digital wallpapers, skins, background music and virtual weapons used for Internet games. These digital items are employed by users for representation and articulation in the online space, especially to create and enhance their online profiles in web pages and games. Prices for digital items typically range from a few cents to a few dollars each. Based on the theoretical framework like social identity theory and self-presentation theory, we developed the research model and proposed seven hypotheses. An analysis of 225 members of Cyworld found that digital item purchase intention in virtual world is affected by both members' need for self-presentation and need for affiliation. We also found that the need for self-presentation is significantly increased by innovativeness of members, community group norm, and community involvement. We concluded that the need for self-presentation could be a key variable for profitable business model in online community service industry. However, neither individual self-efficacy nor the need for affiliation significantly influenced the need for self-presentation which triggers purchase intention of digital items. In term of the theoretical and practical contribution, this study can be a pioneering empirical research that investigates the purchase intention of digital items based on social identity theory and self-presentation theory in the online context. Also, the findings of our study are valuable and practical for practitioners in the market who wish to adopt or improve the business model of selling digital items in an online community. From the findings, it can be seen that innovativeness of users, community group norm, and community involvement are three significant factors that influence need for self-presentation of users which ultimately leads to their intentions to buy digital items. These findings put forth that virtual community providers and online businesses selling digital items should prioritize their efforts and focus on these three factors if they want to increase the sales of these digital items and generate greater revenues. This study provides important implications for academic researchers and practitioners to understand why the community members pay money for their digital items in virtual world and how the practitioners can increase the sales of digital items in an online community. A couple of limitations of the study and future research directions are also discussed.
In this paper, we build a gradient Boosting model to predict government SME R&D subsidy, select features of high importance, and measure the impact of each features to the predicted subsidy using PDP and SHAP value. Unlike previous empirical researches, we focus on the effect of the R&D subsidy distribution pattern to the incentive of the firms participating subsidy competition. We used the firm data constructed by KISTEP linking government R&D subsidy record with financial statements provided by NICE, and applied a Gradient Boosting model to predict R&D subsidy. We found that firms with higher R&D performance and larger R&D investment tend to have higher R&D subsidies, but firms with higher operation profit or total asset turnover rate tend to have lower R&D subsidies. Our results suggest that current government R&D subsidy distribution pattern provides incentive to improve R&D project performance, but not business performance.

The interaction term for intellectual stimulation and emotional intelligence had a significant and positive relationship with organizational commitment. Fourth, the hierarchical regression analysis revealed that moderation term was significant(${\beta}$=2.213, p<.01).
