A Study on the Differences of Creative Leadership according to Preschool Children's Peer Popularity (유아의 또래 인기도에 따른 창의적 리더십의 차이연구)

  • This study identifies the differences of creative leadership according to preschool children's peer popularity. The subjects of this study were 178 5-year-old children in institutes of early childhood education in G city and all collected data were analyzed by t-test. The results of the study are as follows: 1) Children's Peer Popularity and creative leadership in the overall score, and sub-elements such as creative thinking, self-management, respect for others and community care ability of young children have a positive relationship. 2) there were statistically significant differences in the whole creative leadership and sub-elements(creative thinking, self-management, and social leadership, respect for others and community care ability) depending on peer popularity. It suggest that the results of this study have a great value to provide fundamental data for the development of peer relation building program to enhance creative leadership.

  • 최근 들어 신세대들은 온라인을 통해서 아바타를 활용하여 가상공간 속에서 자신을 표현하고 있는 추세이다. 아바타는 ‘분신’, ‘화신’을 의미하는 산스크리트어로 가상공간에서 사용자의 역할을 대신하는 애니메이션 캐릭터이다. 가상공간 속에서 오프라인 상에서 표현하지 못한 자신만의 캐릭터를 통해서 자신의 정체성을 시각적으로 표현하여 개인의 개성을 표출하고 있다. 이러한 아바타의 출현으로 인터넷에서의 자기표현 방식이 외향적인 형태로 변화하는데 이는 새로운 표현에 대한 사용자의 수용도에 따라서 여러 가지 형태로 나타나고 있다. 특히, 사용자가 새로운 개념을 수용하는데 있어서 그들이 잠재적으로 보유하고 있는 특성에 따라서 아바타의 표현이 다각적으로 연출되고 활용되어지고 있다. 이는 신세대들의 자기표현 방식이 다양하기 때문이다고 할 수 있겠다. 신세대들은 또한 새로운 정보통신 기술이 매체를 통해 보급될 경우 수용도가 다른 세대에 비해 빠르다. 이렇듯 아바타의 도입과 활용은 신세대의 자기표현의 상징적인 역할을 하고 있다. 현재, 웹과 핸드폰을 통해서 2D 기반의 아바타가 활용되고 있으며, 신기술이 지속적으로 개발되고 있다. 현재 개발되어지고 있는 3D 핸드폰 아바타의 수용도에 대한 관심도도 높아질 것으로 예상된다. 현재 아바타 개발과 활용에 대한 연구는 활발히 진행되고 있지만, 이러한 신세대들의 특성에 따른 아바타의 수용에 대한 연구는 아직 정립되지 못하고 있다. 아바타의 수용에 관한 이론은 심리적 특성 이론으로 자아 존중감, 유행 선도력, 소비가치 등이 있으며, 사용자 수용 이론으로 혁신 성향, 유흥 성향 등이 있다. 이를 기반으로, 본 연구에서는 신세대 대학생들의 특성에 따라서 아바타의 수용도에 미치는 영향을 모색하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 대학생들의 특성을 심리적 특성이론과 사용자 수용이론으로 구분하여 이 특성에 따라서 향후 개발될 3D 핸드폰 아바타의 수용도의 관계를 파악하고자 한다. 본 연구에 대한 자료 수집방법은 D대학교의 교양과목인 “사이버문화의 이해와 활용”을 수강하는 학생들을 대상으로 총 170부를 설문 조사하였으며, 수집된 설문지 중에서 불성실하게 응답한 설문지 6부를 제외한 총 164부를 유효한 설문으로 확보하였다. SPSSWIN 10.0 패키지를 이용하였으며, Cronbach's Alpha값을 통한 신뢰도 분석과 요인분석을 통한 타당성 분석을 하고, 연구변수로 선정한 각 요소들의 아바타 수용도에 미치는 영향력 정도를 파악하기 위해 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 심리적 특성과 사용자 수용 특성은 아바타 수용도에 부분적으로 영향을 미친다는 것 결과가 나타났다.

High-achieving High School Students' Science Activities, Self-concept, and Choice of a Science Major (학업 성취가 뛰어난 고등학생들의 과학 활동, 자아 개념, 과학 전공)

  • The purpose of this research project is to explain why high-achieving high school students in our country do or do not choose a science major and to explore gender differences. First-year students attending science high schools and international high school participated, responding to open-ended questions on science activities, self-concept of strengths for science learning, and rationales for choosing or not choosing a science major. For high- achieving students, it is shown that intrinsic interest has the greatest correlation with choosing a science major, with the next important influence being self-efficacy. On the other hand, in not choosing a science major, the lack of self-efficacy has a greater correlation than the lack of intrinsic interest. Self-concept in science-learning and science activities occurring outside of school classes are also compared and analyzed, and implications are discussed from educational and policy viewpoints.

Validation and Application of the Social Desirability Scale (SDS-24) (사회적 바람직성 척도(SDS-24)의 타당화 및 적용)

  • While social desirability has been neglected in the field of social work research in Korea, social work articles published in foreign journals have tried to identify respondents with a high level of social desirability and to control the effect of social desirability. The Social Desirability Scale (SDS-24) is the first social desirability scale developed by a Korean research is composed of two factors, self deception and impression management. This study was conducted to improve its practicability by evaluating its psychometric properties with social work practitioners and students. The findings of this study are satisfactory. The factor structure of the Social Desirability Scale (SDS-24) was confirmed and its reliability and validity were satisfactory. The advantage of the Social Desirability Scale (SDS-24) is that it includes items related to Korean culture. The ways of using Social Desirability Scale (SDS-24) in social work research are provided.

Key Factors of College-Level Online Courses from a Student Perspective: Analyzing Pre-Course, During Course, and Post-Course Phases

  • The purpose of this study aims to identify the key factors that contribute to successful online learning experiences for college students in the pre-course, during course, and post-course phases. A survey was conducted college students, and a total of 95 questionnaires were used for statistical analysis. The main findings revealed that in the pre-course phase, task value, academic self-efficacy, and control beliefs were significant factors. During course, interaction emerged as a crucial factor. Notably, students' satisfaction in the post-course phase is significantly influenced by academic self-efficacy and interaction. Understanding these factors will help inform the design and operation of effective college-level online courses to improve student experience and satisfaction.

  • In this paper, we present the results of a study of lessons learned from the life of Caleb (Cal), a significant character in John Steinbeck's "East of Eden." His life serves as a powerful example of the process of self-discovery, overcoming conflicts with self, others, and society. He emphasizes the importance of managing and understanding your emotions, learning to acknowledge and express them throughout your journey. He makes moral judgments while confronting desires and conflicts, and transparently demonstrates the importance of self-determination based on ethical decisions, while his honest expression and acceptance of his own emotions emphasizes the core value of emotion management and understanding. Additionally, his story emphasizes the clear importance of understanding and compromise in human relationships. We present a thorough exploration of these topics and consider how the lessons from Caleb's story can be applied to our everyday lives. As a result of the analysis in this paper, we expect to gain insight into how these lessons can be applied and put into practice.

The Study of Korean-style Leadership (The Great Cause?Oriented and Confidence-Oriented Leadership) (대의와 신뢰 중시의 한국형 리더십 연구)

  • This research analyzes some Korean historical figures and presents the core values of their leaderships so that we can bring up the theory of leadership which would be compatible with the current circumstances around Korea. Through this work, we expected that we would not only find out typical examples among historical leaders but also reaffirm our identities in our history. As a result of the research, it was possible to classify some figures in history into several patterns and discover their archetypal qualities. Those qualities were 'transform(實事)', 'challenge(決死)', 'energize(風流)', 'create(創案)', and 'envision(開新)' respectively. Among the qualities, this research concentrated on the quality of 'challenge', exclusively 'death-defying spirit'. This spirit is the one with which historical leaders could sacrifice their lives for their great causes. This research selected twelve figures as incarnations of death-defying spirit, who are Gyebaek(階伯), Ganggamchan(姜邯贊), Euljimundeok(乙支文德), Choeyoung(崔瑩),ChungMongju(鄭夢周), Seongsammun (成三問), Yisunsin(李舜臣), Gwakjaewoo(郭再祐), Choeikhyeon(崔益鉉), Anjunggeun(安重根), Yunbonggil(尹奉吉), Yijun(李儁). Through analyzing their core values and abilities and categorizing some historical cases into four spheres such as a private sphere, relations sphere, a community sphere, and a society sphere, we came to find a certain element in common among those figures. It was that they eventually took the lead by showing the goal and the ideal to their people at all times. Moreover, their goals were always not only obvious but also unwavering. In the second chapter, I described the core value in a private sphere, so called '志靑靑'. It implies that a leader should set his ultimate goal and then try to attain it with an unyielding will. Obvious self-confidence and unfailing self-creed are core values in a private sphere. In the third chapter, I described the core value in a relative sphere, the relationship between one and others. It is '守信結義'. It indicates that a leader should win confidence from others by discharging his duties in the relation with others. Confidence is the highest leveled affection to others. Thus, mutual reliance should be based on truthful sincerity and affection toward others. Stubbornness and strictness are needed not to be prompted by pity simultaneously. In the fourth chapter, I described the core value in a community sphere. It is '丹心合力'. For this value, what are required to a leader are both his community spirit and his loyalty to one's community. Moreover, the strong sense of responsibility and the attitude of taking an initiative among others are also required. Thus, it can be said that the great power to conduct the community is so called fine teamwork. What's more, the attitude of the leader can exert a great influence on his community. In the fifth chapter, I described the core value of death defying spirit in the society sphere. This value might be more definite and explicit than other ones described above. A leader should prepare willingly for one's death to fulfill his great duties. 'What to do' is more important for a leader than 'how to do'. That is to say, a leader should always do righteous things. Efficiency is nothing but one of his interests. A leader must be the one who behaves himself always according to righteousness. Unless a leader's behaviors are based on righteousness, it is absolutely impossible that a leader exerts his leadership toward people very efficiently. Thus, it can be said that a true leader is the one not only who is of morality and but also who tries to fulfill his duties.

The Influence of Continuing Participation Intention on the Relationship between Self-Determination and Motivation Factors (자기결정성과 동기요인이 크라우드소싱의 지속적 참여의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구)

  • This research examined a study on the effect of the self-determination and motivation in the crowdsourcing on the continuous participation intention. This study has classified the three elements of the self-determination which is not forced by outer pressure has intended to analyze practically the effect on the motivation of the customers participating in the crowdsourcing into the intrinsic motivation phase and extrinsic motivation phase. The autonomy, competence and relatedness could be verified with the intrinsic motivation phase of the participants who affect positively the enjoyment and accomplishment. In the effect autonomy, competence and relatedness on the monetary compensation and recognition by others of the extrinsic motivation phase, the hypothesis that the effect autonomy, competence and relatedness of the on the monetary compensation would be negative was overruled, which must have been because while the participation in the crowdsourcing is proposing voluntarily one's own ideas, the concept that the monetary compensation makes the participants participate in order to perceive others not in the voluntary proposals but in the competitive relationships and win them worked and thus the autonomy was perceived negatively. Also, the reason why the relationship between the monetary compensation and the autonomy, competence and relatedness was not supported can be said to be because the crowding-out effect which decreases the intrinsic motivation affected the external compensation and the motivation.

A Study on the Artifact Reduction Method of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Dental Implants and Prostheses (치아 임플란트와 보철에서 발생하는 자기공명영상의 인공물 감소방안 연구)

  • Although magnetic resonance imaging without linear hardening of CT is recognized as a method of obtaining high contrast of tissue and excellent resolution image in brain disease and head and neck examination, magnetic susceptibility artifact is generated in case of metal implants in the oral cavity, which is an obstacle to image diagnosis. Therefore, an effort was made in this thesis to find a method to reduce artifacts caused by dental implants and prosthesis in MRI. Implant-induced artifacts in magnetic resonance imaging showed that the signal size increased with shorter TE in GE technique and was inconsistent with water temperature change. In SE technique as well, the signal size of water was generally higher than that of air, but the signal to noise ratio (SNR) was not different by air and temperature. In EPI technique, images with fewer artifacts were obtained quantitatively and qualitatively when there was more water than air, and the signal to noise ratio was measured the highest, especially at water temperatures of 20° and 30°. In conclusion, when examining using the EPI technique rather than the SE or the GE technique, obtaining brain diffusion using a 20° and 30° water bag reduces the magnetic susceptibility artifacts caused by implants and prosthesis, suggesting that it may provide images with high diagnostic value.

Effects of the Academic Efficacy, Self-directedness and Ego-resilience on Psychological States in Nursing University Students (간호대학생의 심리상태에 학업효능감, 자기주도성, 자아탄력성이 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the factors influencing the relationship between anger and happiness of university nursing students so that they can improve their happiness and perform their studies with better internalized values. The general characteristics, academic efficacy, self-directedness, self-resilience, anger scale, and subjective happiness of 401 nursing students were measured. The differences between these groups were analyzed using t-tests and ANOVA tests. Correlations among academic efficacy, self-directedness, self-resilience and psychological states were calculated using Pearson's correlation coefficient. Multiple group analysis was conducted for assessing the interaction effects of academic efficacy, self-resilience and self-directedness. Subjective happiness and predictors of the study (self-directedness and ego-resilience) were positively correlated with statistical significance. The lower the self-directedness was, the higher the subjective happiness that is reduced by anger was. The higher the self-elasticity, the lower the degree of the subjective happiness that is reduced by anger. Since the moderating effect of self-directedness has been demonstrated in the relationship between anger and happiness, it is necessary to consider instituting proper pedagogy so that the educational method of enhancing self-directedness can be reflected in the field of nursing.
