Determining Factors on Small Food Service Business Performance (소상공인 외식서비스업체의 경영성과 요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to examine factors affecting small food service business performance, which is assumed to be dependent primarily on its outskirt's residents. In contrast to the prior research, this paper measures saveral location traits as a separate service business success factor without including the factor in management factors. The empirical results show that small food service's sales can be determined significantly by business career in entrepreneurs' background features. Secondly, its sales can't be influenced by any psychlogical factors such as a desire of achievement, a propensity of risk taking and locus of control. It is assumed that questions about psychological traits based by the prior research do not suit for small food entrepreneur. Thirdly, qualified product have a significant effect on its sales. Finally, its sales can be significantly impacted by the number of customer chair.

Location Factors Determining Hair-style Service Sales (미용서비스업체의 입지요인과 경영성과에 관한 실증연구)

  • This paper aims to examine the location factors affecting small service business performance, especially hair-style service business sales which are assumed to be dependent on outskirts' residents. In contrast to the prior research, this study measures sales amount as business success factors rather than business man's satisfaction level or customers' royalty. The empirical results show that hair-style service business can be determined by visibility and access level of its shop. In addition, its sales can be influenced by hairstyling chair, but its sales per a designer can impacted by hairstyling chair. This study also presents additional examinations about several independent factors which can have influence on hair-style business performance and several location traits that can have an significant influence on its sales volume.

Analyzing the Location Decision of the Large-Scale Discount Store Using the Spatial Association Rules Mining (공간 연관규칙을 이용한 대형할인점의 입지 분석)

  • The objective of this research is to achieve an objectivity of site decision after extracting site decision factors on a large-scale discount store(LSDS) and utilize any hidden information using the association rules mining through huge database. To catch this objective, we collect a census, economic, and environmental dataset related with locating of LSDS. And then, we construct a spatial data on the research area. These data is used for the extraction of a spatial association rules. To verify whether the extracted rules are suitability or not, we use the sales of some LSDS. As the result of test, the more sales, the more factors of the extracted rules relate with the sales it coincides. Consequently, the spatial association rules mining is efficient method which support the ideal site decision of LSDS.

A Study on Influential Change of Locational Variables According to the Process of Residential Improvement Projects (정비사업추진단계별 입지변수들의 영향력 변화에 관한 연구)

  • Most researches about residential improvement projects deal with different process phase in order to examine important affecting variables. The main purpose of this study is to identify influential change of locational variables according to the process of residential improvement projects. Generally the residential improvement project consists of four phases such as site designation, project committee approval, residents association establishment and final project approval. The discriminant and correlation analyses are employed to examine the changes of locational variables by each phase of the project process. In residential redevelopment projects, the finding shows that locational variables in the final project approval phase act differently from those in the other phases. On the other hand, the variables act similarly among the four phases in the case of residental rebuilding projects although the significant level of discriminant analysis result, in the site destination phase, is relatively low significance. Therefore, there is no difference among the project process phase to examine to what extent of the residential improvement projects.

  • Interests in clean fuels have been soaring because of environmental problems such as air pollution and global warming. Unlike fossil fuels, hydrogen obtains public attention as a eco-friendly energy source because it releases only water when burned. Various policy efforts have been made to establish a hydrogen based transportation network. The station that supplies hydrogen to hydrogen-powered trucks is essential for building the hydrogen based logistics system. Thus, determining the optimal location of refueling stations is an important topic in the network. Although previous studies have mostly applied optimization based methodologies, this paper adopts machine learning to review spatial attributes of candidate locations in selecting the optimal position of the refueling stations. Machine learning shows outstanding performance in various fields. However, it has not yet applied to an optimal location selection problem of hydrogen refueling stations. Therefore, several machine learning models are applied and compared in performance by setting variables relevant to the location of highway rest areas and random points on a highway. The results show that Random Forest model is superior in terms of F1-score. We believe that this work can be a starting point to utilize machine learning based methods as the preliminary review for the optimal sites of the stations before the optimization applies.

Hydrologic Performance Characteristics of Small Hydropower Resources with Rainfall Condition (강우상태에 따른 소수력자원의 수문학적 특성 분석)

  • 소수력자원의 개발을 위해서는 소수력발전입지에 대한 설계변수의 분석이 매우 중요하다. 설계변수는 해당유역의 강우사상과 밀접한 관계가 있으므로 이에 대한 정량적인 분석이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 수계별 소수력발전입지에 대하여 설계변수의 특성을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 금강수계, 남한강수계 및 섬진강수계는 유역면적이 증가하여도 비가용량의 변화가 크지않지만, 낙동강수계와 북한강수계는 유역면적의 크기에 관계없이 비가용량의 변화가 크게 나타났다. 또한 비출력량의 경우에도 비가용량과 유사하게 금강수계, 남한강수계 및 섬진강수계는 유역면적이 증가하여도 비출력량의 변화가 크지않지만, 낙동강수계와 북한강수계는 유역면적의 크기에 관계없이 비출력량의 변화가 크게 나타났다. 이러한 현상은 우리나라의 연강수량이 남부지방이 중부지방에 비하여 많기 때문으로 판단된다. 낙동강수계는 하도가 남북으로 길기 때문에 소수력발전입지의 위치에 따라 비가용량의 크기의 변화가 크고, 북한강수계도 이와 비슷한 경향을 갖는다. 반면에 금강수계, 남한강수계 및 섬진강수계는 하도가 동서방향으로 길기 때문이다. 또한 연간가동율의 경우에는 모든 수계에 대하여 변화가 크지 않았고, 유역면적의 변화에 대해서도 큰 변화가 없었다.

  • 이 연구는 농협 하나로마트를 표본점포로 하여 슈퍼마켓의 점포성과에 미치는 영향요인을 규명하기 위한 것이다. 기존의 유통관련 선행연구가 소비자조사를 통한 점포선택이론 중심으로 접근하였다면, 본 연구는 소매공급 측면에서 접근했다는 점과 소매입지모델 뿐만 아니라 소매경영이론 측면에서 내적요인까지 아울러 접근함으로써 슈퍼마켓의 점포성과에 대한 영향관계를 종합적으로 접근하여 규명하고자 시도하였다는 점에서 그 의의를 갖는다. 본 연구의 접근은 슈퍼마켓 경영에서 환경요인인 외적요인과 역량요인인 내적요인에서 점포성과에 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대되는 다양한 변수들을 선정하고, 이 변수들에 대한 검증을 통해 슈퍼마켓의 점포성과에 미치는 영향관계를 분석하였다. 분석의 신뢰도와 설명력을 높이기 위하여 변수별, 요인별 접근을 시도하였으며, 대상점포의 설명력을 높이기 위하여 동업계 편균대비 비교분석과 도시와 농촌간의 입지유형별 특성과 차이점을 규명하고자 하였다. 연구결과 현실적 측면에서 채용가능한 결과를 도출할 수 있었다. 본 연구가 대형 슈퍼마켓이 향후 유망업태로 주목받고 있는 상황에서 농협 하나로마트를 표본으로 하여 슈퍼마켓의 점포성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하고자 하였으나, 향후 슈퍼마켓의 점포출점, 전략수립, 점포운영 등에서 실질적인 방향성을 제시할 수 있도록 연구가 보강되어야 할 것이며, 나아가 타 업태 및 업종에 일반화될 수 있도록 기대한다.

Predicting Site Quality by Partial Least Squares Regression Using Site and Soil Attributes in Quercus mongolica Stands (신갈나무 임분의 입지 및 토양 속성을 이용한 부분최소제곱 회귀의 지위추정 모형)

  • Predicting forest productivity is essential to evaluate sustainable forest management or to enhance forest ecosystem services. Ordinary least squares (OLS) and partial least squares (PLS) regression models were used to develop predictive models for forest productivity (site index) from the site characteristics and soil profile, along with soil physical and chemical properties, of 112 Quercus mongolica stands. The adjusted coefficients of determination (adjusted R2) in the regression models were higher for the site characteristics and soil profile of B horizon (R2=0.32) and of A horizon (R2=0.29) than for the soil physical and chemical properties of B horizon (R2=0.21) and A horizon (R2=0.09). The PLS models (R2=0.20-0.32) were better predictors of site index than the OLS models (R2=0.09-0.31). These results suggest that the regression models for Q. mongolica can be applied to predict the forest productivity, but new variables may need to be developed to enhance the explanatory power of regression models.

A Study on Locational Factors of Korean Shipping Companies (우리나라 해운기업의 입지요인에 관한 연구)

  • There have been lots of studies on locational factors of companies, but, very few studies for Korean shipping companies. This study analyzes locational factors for Korean shipping companies using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. For the study model, the first level is consisted by software, hardware and city policy factors. As more specific factors, the second level is formed by three factors of the first level. The third level consists of Seoul and Busan to evaluate competitive advantage for location of shipping companies. We carried out an analytical survey focused on the executives of shipping companies and related experts, and derived the priority order for locational factors of Korean shipping companies as follow. Firstly, software factors turned out the most important factor for location of Korean shipping companies. Next, Busan has a competitive advantage only in city policy factors. However, there are much of competitive disadvantages in both software and hardware factors for location of shipping companies compared against Seoul.

  • 기후변화가 산업단지에 미치는 영향은 지자체에까지 확산될 수 있으며 물리적, 경제적인 영향이 미쳐지므로 어떠한 물리적, 경제적 변수에 의해 산업단지의 피해가 초래되는지 규명될 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 국가 산업단지를 대상으로 산업단지 및 입지 시군구의 물리적, 경제적 특성을 기반으로 한 기후변화 취약성 평가를 수행하고 산업단지 입지에 영향을 미치는 시간, 공간별 극한기후를 규명하고자 하였다. 산업단지의 극한기후에 의한 취약성은 IPCC에서 제안한 상향식 취약성 평가 방법을 따라 분석되었으며 전력요구도, 위험지역유무 등 단지의 물리적 입지조건과 입지 지자체의 기반시설 현황, 지자체와 산업단지의 경제적 특성 등이 평가 기준으로 연구되었다. 기후노출, 민감도, 적응 능력의 항목별 가중치와 항목내 변수들의 가중치 분석에 AHP가 적용되었다. 본 연구는 홍수, 가뭄, 혹서, 혹한, 해수면상승에 대해 취약 입지 시군구를 밝혔고 홍수와 가뭄, 혹서와 혹한별로 대비되는 취약성 결과가 나옴을 고찰하였다. 또한, 각 극한기후별로 적응능력 함양이 시급한 시군구를 밝혀 지자체 차원의 노력이 필요한 시군구를 규명하였다. 서울시 금천구는 산업단지 입지에 가장 취약한 지역으로 나타났으며 홍수, 혹한에서 높은 취약성을 보임이 분석되었다. 한편, 극한기후의 발생에도 불구하고 전반적으로 낮은 취약성을 보인 산업단지 입지 지자체는 광주광역시, 전라북도 익산, 제주시 등으로 분석되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 산업단지의 업종에 따라 적합하지 않은 입지 지역을 규명하였으며 향후 산업단지 입지의 잠재 기후변화 영향을 고려한 의사결정을 지원할 수 있다.
