  • In MMORPG development process, spreadsheet based data management has advantages in the handling of functions and analysis of large data set. But it has limitations in inserting, deleting, searching and relational management of that. In this paper, we proposed the spreadsheet based tool model for large data set for MMORPG development. Our system can reduce the risk of data management failure in MMORPG development process and improve the efficiency of data handling in the large-scale team.

  • To assist the system development methodologies, there have been a lot of researches for treatment of natural language specification, which represents system behavior and user behavior. In this paper, we suggest Hangul Query Processor based on IFM(InFormation Modeling) which is one of the Object-Oriented software development methods. This Hangul query processor translates the Korean language specification to SQL and response query result. And it is designed to improve system usability by providing convenience to Korean language users. The advantages are The Hangul Query Processor affect higher system usability of and users in that it solves user's Korean language specification without help of the expert. And the software development contained query processor has result to be more participation of users and to reduce the system development time.

  • 본 논문은 단일 카메라 환경에서 손 형상을 입력정보로 사용하여 손 영역만을 분할한 후 자기 조직화 특징 지도(SOFM: Self Organized Feature Map) 신경망 알고리즘을 이용하여 손 형상을 인식함으로서 수화인식을 위한 보다 안정적이며 강인한 인식 시스템을 구현하고자 한다.

  • In this paper, we propose a neural network with fuzzy preprocessor not only for improving the classifi¬cation accuracy but also for being able to classify objects whose attribute values do not have clear bound¬aries. The fuzzy input signal representation scheme is included as a preprocessing module. It transforms imprecise input in linguistic form and precisely stated numerical input into multidimensional numerical values. 'The transformed input is processed in the postprocessing module. The experimental results indi-cate the superiority of fuzzy input signal representation scheme in comparison to binary input signal rep¬resentation scheme and decimal input signal representation scheme.

Separation of Character Strings and High Quality Vectorization for Korean Cadastral Map (한국 지적도에서의 문자분리 및 고품질 벡터화)

  • We propose a new method which can solve the difficulty of separation the character strings from the interconnected lines and the distortions of vectorization at the crossing points and the junction points for the digitized maps at the same time. After the image is thinned, the crossing points and the junction points are detected with their neighbors, which we call the uncertain areas. And then the broken lines are connected each other, and the character strings are separated at the same time. The proposed method is applied to Korean cadastral map. Usually, Korean cadastral map consists of straight lines and character strings. The experimental results show that the method is effective in separating the character strings and getting high quality vectorization for the Korean cadastral map.

  • 기존의 특징점 추출 알고리즘들은 입력 지문의 전처리, 이미지의 이진화, 세선화, 특징점 추출 등의 여러 처리 단계를 거쳐 이루어지므로 잡음등과 같은 외부적 요인과 여러 처리단계엣 발생하는 내부적 요인 등으로 왜곡 현상을 피하기 어렵고 전체 인증 시간이 길어 지는 등 성능 저해 요인이 많다. 본 논문에서는 복잡한 처리 과정을 거치지 않고 입려영상에서 집적 융선의 흐름을 추적하여 특징점들을 추출하고 매칭을 수행함으로써 이미지의 왜곡에서 오는 오류를 줄이고 처리 시간을 단축하여 기존의 시스템보다 빠른 시간에 지문을 인식하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다.

Automatic Discriminating of Monosyllable in Korean Characters (한글정보처리에서 다음절의 자동식별)

  • A system that can discriminate monosyliables automatically from sequential input of Korean character's data without space codes is proposed. Korean characters are synthesized by two to seven elements out of twenty four basic elements. Three thousands Korean characters are formalized into thirty character forms discriminates monosyllable automatically by detecting seven form features and character length. In this result, this system, compared with the input method with space codes which have been used to separate each syllable, can save about 25% of the memory capacity of computer and improves about 30% of the processing speed of Korean characters.

  • In this paper, we design and implement a automatic control system of wireless sensor network based sprayer for hog barns. The proposed control system is driven by events from sensor nodes. It gathers various sensor readings such as temperature, humid, water level and water temperature, and controls the sprayer in real time by analyzing the sensor readings. Through experiments, we show that the proposed control system manages temperature and humidity steadily. Our proposed system enhances the existing system about 33% for temperature management and 37.3% for humidity management.

  • A digital input class-D audio amplifier is presented for digital hearing aid. The class-D audio amplifier is composed of digital and analog circuits. The analog circuit converts a digital input to a analog audio signal (DAC) with noise suppression in the audio band. An interpolated digital delta-sigma modulator is used to convert data types between digital signal processor (DSP) and digital-to-analog converter (DAC). An 16-bit, 25-kbps pulse code modulated (PCM) input is interpolated to 16-bit, 50-kbps by a digital filter. The output signal of interpolation filter is noise-shaped by a third-order digital sigma-delta modulator (SDM). As a result, 1.5-bit, 3.2-Mbps signal is applied to simple digital to analog converter.

  • This paper describes the algorithm for deciding the status of the operating machines in the power plants. It is very important to decide whether the status of the operating machines is good or not in the industry to protect the accidents of machines and improve the operation efficiency of the plants. There are two steps to analyze the status of the running machines. First, we extract the features from the input original data. Second, we classify those features into normal/abnormal condition of the machines using the wavelet transform and the input RMS vector through the K-means algorithm. In this paper we developed the algorithm to detect the fault operation using the K-means method from the sound of the operating machines.
