This study examined the factors affecting clinical practice adaptation to provide basic data for the improvement of clinical practice adaptation for the first year of clinical practice. The subjects were 153 nursing students and medical students in G-do. Data were collected from April 1 to April 30, 2019, and analyzed using a t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using IBM SPSS WIN/21.0. The mean of college adjustment, character, interpersonal competence, communicative competence, and clinical practice adaptation was 3.37 points, 3.82, 3.61, 3.56, and 3.54, respectively. Clinical practice adaptation was related to college adjustment, character, interpersonal competence, and communicative competence (p<.001). The most influential factor in clinical practice was interpersonal competence (β=.502, p<.001), followed by department adaptation (β=-.215, p<.001) and college adjustment (β=.174, p=.010), respectively. The explanatory power was 41.1% (F=34.11, p<.001). Therefore, a way to improve interpersonal competence is needed to advance clinical practice adaptation. In the character building program for adjustment to college life, systematic education is needed, including the opportunity to think about and understand oneself, continuous meeting to understand and accept others. In addition, repeated communication training to improve interpersonal competence is needed.
The purpose of this study is to provide basic material that can strengthen the clinical competence of nursing students by understanding the impact interpersonal competence and clinical stress have on clinical competence. Research was conducted on 242 students in the junior and senior years of college through structured surveys. Results showed that interpersonal competence accounted for 3.36 points, clinical stress accounted for 2.80 points, and clinical competence accounted for 3.48 points. Interpersonal competence and clinical competence showed a positive correlation whereas clinical stress and clinical competence did not show any correlation. As factors that affect the nursing students' clinical competence, interpersonal competence and satisfaction in relation to one's major were identified, and these factors had an overall explanatory power of 26.4%. Therefore, on the result of this study, when we develop the clinical education program to increase the major-related satisfaction and interpersonal competence for nursing students.
This study is a descriptive research study to grasp the critical thinking tendency, clinical practice stress, core basic nursing confidence, and degree of adaptation to clinical practice in nursing students. From June to July 2019, 207 students in the fourth year of nursing college were surveyed through their own questionnaire. Collected data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN v24.0. The negative correlation between clinical practice stress and critical thinking tendency(r=-.18, p=.010). The core self-confidence practice self-confidence showed a positive correlation with critical thinking tendency(r=.25, p<.001), and a negative correlation with clinical practice stress(r=-.17, p=.017). Adaptation to clinical practice showed a positive correlation with clinical practice stress(r=.44, p<.001), and the factor influencing clinical practice adaptation was stress(β=.40) (F=18.34, p<.001), and the explanatory power was about 23.1%. As mentioned above, stress brings a positive change to clinical practice, so it is necessary to identify stress factors received from clinical practice of nursing college students and reflect them in curriculum development.
The purpose of this longitudinal study was to investigate confidence in core basic nursing skill each period of clinical practicum and discover the changes, depending on characteristics of periods. The data was collected for 94 nursing students attending a university located in J-do from Mar. 9 to Dec. 16 2016 for 4 times in total. For data analysis, the frequency analysis, descriptive statistics and paired t-test were used. The research findings showed that confidence in core basic nursing skill by each period of clinical practicum was lowest before clinical practicum in general but gradually increased depending on lapse of time and experience of clinical practicum. However, it decreased in all items after having first clinical practicum in the $2^{nd}$ semester, compared to after first clinical practicum in the $1^{st}$ semester. In addition, the difference of confidence in core basic nursing skill between clinical practicum periods was higher after the first clinical practicum in the $1^{st}$ semester and after clinical practicum at the end of school year, compared to before clinical practicum and after the first clinical practicum in the $2^{nd}$ semester respectively. Therefore, this study suggested that it's necessary to have efficient and systematic clinical practicum education strategy, reflecting the characteristics of periods in clinical practicum in order to improve the confidence in core basic nursing skill of nursing students.

This study is tried to confirm the effect of practical education environment and practical stress perceived by nursing college students who have experienced clinical practice on department adaptation. The subjects of the study were 154 nursing students who experienced clinical practice at nursing universities in Area C. As a result of the study, there was a positive correlation between the practical education environment perceived by nursing students and department adaptation (r=.43, p=.001), a negative correlation between practical stress and department adaptation (r=-.15, p=.012). The practical education environment and practical stress were identified as factors influencing nursing students' adaptation to the department. Therefore, in order to positively improve the practical education environment, it is necessary to continuously train related factors that can help adapt to field practice and prepare measures to improve the practical education environment through close cooperation with practice institutions.
This study is a descriptive study to investigate the effects of grit and resilience on clinical practice adaptation of nursing students. The subjects of this study were 131 nursing students and data collection was from August 19 to September 30, 2019. Data was analyzed using the SPSS 20.0 program by descriptive statistics, t-test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Grit and resilience were found to be factors affecting clinical practice adaptation of nursing students and 32.0% of clinical practice adaptation. Therefore, in order to increase the clinical practice adaptation of nursing students it is necessary to make efforts to improve grit and resilience and development of clinical practice curriculum.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the convergence relationship between the clinical practice stress and professional identity of 171 dental hygiene students from 3 university in Jeollanam-do area. The data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 18.0 program. Professional identity was negatively correlated with clinical practice training environment(r=-0.352, p<0.01), clinical practice work burden(r=-0.185, p<0.05) and conflicts with patients(r=-0.181, p<0.05). The convergence factors influencing professional identity were clinical practice training environment(${\beta}=-0.261$), aptitude(${\beta}=0.238$), advice from others(${\beta}=-0.186$) and clinical practice unsatisfied(${\beta}=-0.176$). The regression model explained 23.7% of professional identity. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a program for the smooth labor supply by understanding the relationship between clinical practice stress and professional identity in dental hygiene students.

This study attempts to identify how incivility and clinical learning environment affects clinical practice stress among nursing students. This study enrolled 204 nursing students in the third- and fourth-grades, having practical clinical experience. Data were collected from April 1 to April 30, 2019, by the self-reported method. Data analysis was achieved by applying descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis, using the SPSS 22.0 program. Our results showed that the average values for incivility experienced by nursing students was 2.58, clinical learning environment was 2.79, and clinical practice stress was 3.33. Incivility experienced and clinical practice stress appeared to be a static correlation, whereas the clinical learning environment and clinical practice stress, and incivility experienced and clinical learning environment, were identified as amulet correlations. Incivility experienced and clinical learning environment exerted significant influences on clinical practice stress, where the explanatory power was confirmed at 22.5%. Based on the results of this study, we propose the necessity to develop and apply various programs to effectively manage the clinical practice stress of nursing students.
