The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of emotional regulation between clinical practice stress and nursing professionalism in nursing students. Participants were 192 nursing students and data were collected from September to November, 2015. This study has shown that nursing professionalism is negatively associated with clinical practice stress (r=-.40, p<.001) and positively associated with emotional regulation (r=.55, p<.001). In addition, a negative correlation has been found significant between emotional regulation and clinical practice stress (r=-.20, p<.001). In a final model of hierarchial multiple regression, professor support (${\beta}=.19$, p<.01), satisfaction with nursing as a major (${\beta}=.14$, p<.05), clinical practice stress (${\beta}=-.19$, p<.01) and emotional regulation (${\beta}=.32$, p <.001) were associated with nursing professionalism. In this study, we also have shown that emotional regulation does not play a moderating role on the relationship between clinical practice stress and nursing professionalism. The results of this study suggests that, in order to improve nursing professionalism, it is important to promote support system, develop clinical-practice-stress-relief programs, and enhance emotional regulation training for nursing students.

The data were collected from November 15 to December 15, 2014 and, analyzed using a t-test, ANOVA, Scheff's test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression. Significant differences in the nursing professionalism by gender, religion, age, and school record were observed. Nursing professionalism was positively related to the satisfaction with clinical practice. In addition, there was a positive correlation between the nursing professionalism and image of nurses. Meaningful variables that influenced the nursing professionalism were satisfaction with the contents of clinical practice, image of nurses, satisfaction with the course of clinical practice, satisfaction with the environment of clinical practice, and school record. These factors comprised 75.8% of the total variance in the nursing professionalism of nursing students, and the satisfaction with contents of clinical practice was the most influential factor. The purpose of this longitudinal study was to investigate confidence in core basic nursing skill each period of clinical practicum and discover the changes, depending on characteristics of periods. The data was collected for 94 nursing students attending a university located in J-do from Mar. 9 to Dec. 16 2016 for 4 times in total. For data analysis, the frequency analysis, descriptive statistics and paired t-test were used. The research findings showed that confidence in core basic nursing skill by each period of clinical practicum was lowest before clinical practicum in general but gradually increased depending on lapse of time and experience of clinical practicum. However, it decreased in all items after having first clinical practicum in the $2^{nd}$ semester, compared to after first clinical practicum in the $1^{st}$ semester. In addition, the difference of confidence in core basic nursing skill between clinical practicum periods was higher after the first clinical practicum in the $1^{st}$ semester and after clinical practicum at the end of school year, compared to before clinical practicum and after the first clinical practicum in the $2^{nd}$ semester respectively. Therefore, this study suggested that it's necessary to have efficient and systematic clinical practicum education strategy, reflecting the characteristics of periods in clinical practicum in order to improve the confidence in core basic nursing skill of nursing students.
This study is a descriptive research study to grasp the critical thinking tendency, clinical practice stress, core basic nursing confidence, and degree of adaptation to clinical practice in nursing students. From June to July 2019, 207 students in the fourth year of nursing college were surveyed through their own questionnaire. Collected data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN v24.0. The negative correlation between clinical practice stress and critical thinking tendency(r=-.18, p=.010). The core self-confidence practice self-confidence showed a positive correlation with critical thinking tendency(r=.25, p<.001), and a negative correlation with clinical practice stress(r=-.17, p=.017). Adaptation to clinical practice showed a positive correlation with clinical practice stress(r=.44, p<.001), and the factor influencing clinical practice adaptation was stress(β=.40) (F=18.34, p<.001), and the explanatory power was about 23.1%. As mentioned above, stress brings a positive change to clinical practice, so it is necessary to identify stress factors received from clinical practice of nursing college students and reflect them in curriculum development.
This study was performed to examine that convergence-based integrated simulation practice program curriculum effects the clinical decision making, problem solving competence, clinical competence and confidence of core fundamental nursing skill performance for nursing students. After the convergence-based integrated simulation practice program, there were significant increased in problem solving process(t=-3.052, p<.01), clinical competence(t=-4.279, p=.000), and confidence of core fundamental nursing skill performance(t=-2.416, p<.05). The finding of this study verified that the integrated simulation practice program curriculum can be used for improvements of problem solving competence, clinical competence and confidence of core fundamental nursing skill performance for nursing students. It is necessary to develop a scientific analytical evaluation tool and program, and it would be necessary to have a system for scientifically analyzing the integration of simulation practical courses by nursing college students by grade level and subjects.
