Statistical analysis menus of MS Excel software, with powerful spreadsheet functions has not been modified since Excel 2000 Edition and its utilization is very low. To improve utilization of Excel menu for statistical analysis, this research compared outputs of Excel statistical menus and computed test statistics, and developed high-level macros. Outputs of Excel menus, both oneway layout and twoway layout, on real data are exactly same as the computed test statistics, and therefore, Excel menus for statistical analysis are reliable. Macros to provide results for Analysis of Variance with a block and multiple comparison of means are developed using Excel functions.

This paper suggests a method for estimating components of variance in one-factor random model. Estimates of variance components are given by the method of moments. Sums of squares due to variance sources are obtained by projections. This paper also shows how to use eigenvalues for getting the coefficients of variance components in the expression of the expectations of the mean squares. The suggested method shows easier and faster than the method of Harley's synthesis.

Based on Monte-Carlo simulation results we propose a robust analysis of variance procedure by utilizing trimmed mean and Winsorized variance. We deal with mainly the one-way classification case. We evaluate the empirical distribution of a pseudo-F statistic based on symmetrically Winsorized sum of squares when the population is normally distributed.

국내에는 17,500여개의 농업용 저수지가 전국적으로 분포하고 있다. 이들 저수지의 대부분은 1945년 이전에 설치되어 경과년수가 70년 이상된 저수지가 전체의 약 52%에 달하며, 1962년 이전에 설치되어 50년 이상된 저수지는 전체의 68.3%에 이르고 있다. 국내 약 70%에 해당하는 저수지는 50년이 넘은 노후화된 저수지로 오염물질의 장기간의 퇴적으로 인해 수용적이 많이 줄었고, 퇴적층의 오염물질 재용출로 인해 호소의 수질악화에 상당한 영향을 주고 있을 것으로 추정된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 호소 설치 경과년수와 수질간의 상관성을 알아보기 위하여 상관분석을 실시하였고, 일원분산분석과 Scheffe Test를 통해 경과년수에 따라 호소 수질에 유의한 차이가 있는 지에 대해서 살펴보았다. 저수지 설치 경과년수와 수질항목 pH, EC, DO, SS, COD, TN, TP, Chl-a와의 상관성을 분석한 결과, DO를 제외한 모든 항목에서 10~40%의 정(+)의 상관성을 보여 저수지 준공년도가 오래된 것일수록 수질오염도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 농업용 저수지의 준공 경과년수 구간에 따른 수질이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는가를 알아보기 위하여 호소의 경과년수를 70년 이상($Y{\geq}70$), 50년 이상 70년 미만($50{\leq}Y$<70), 30년 이상 50년 미만($30{\leq}Y$<50), 10년 이상 30년 미만($10{\leq}Y$<30), 10년 미만(Y<10) 등 5개 구간으로 분류하여 일원분산분석을 실시하였다. 통계분석에 사용된 자료는 2013년도 농업용수 수질측정망 조사자료 3,175개를 이용하였다. 수온, pH, EC, COD, TN, TP, SS, Chl-a 등 거의 모든 수질항목에서 유의수준 p<0.001 에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 사후검정인 Scheffe Test를 실시한 결과, DO를 제외한 모든 항목에서 70년 이상 된 구간($Y{\geq}70$)과 50년이상 70년 미만(의 구간에서 다른 구간에 비해 다소 높은 값을 보였고, 준공 경과년수가 작아질수록 농도가 점차적으로 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 저수지가 설치된 지 오래되어 노후화가 진행될수록 수질오염도 높아지는 것을 알 수 있었다.

In Oriental Medicine, there have been a number of researches in 8-Constitution medicine which classifies human bodies into one of 8 categories. Since the diagnosis of 8-Constitution depending on pulse types is often subjective, standardization of the diagnosis and therapy requires objective characteristics of 8 constitutions. A questionnaire of 80 items about personal symptoms were given to patients while they were classified into one of 8 constitutions based on their pulse types and responses to constitution-based acupuncture therapy. One-way analysis of variance and Duncan's multiple comparison test were used to verify the significant items. Most of the significant items in this study coincided with supposed-to-be clinical characteristics of 8-constitutions.

본 연구의 목적은 자연지향적 집단의 생태관광 행동특성을 파악하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 서울지역의 5개 지역 지향적 집단을 중심으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사는 여행객의 행동특성, 행동특성에 미치는 영향요소들, 그리고 행동특성에 영향을 주는 변수와의 차이를 분석하는데 중점을 두었는데, 이를 위해서 행동특성에 대한 요인분석과 독립변수들과의 차이를 알아보기 위해 일원배치 분산분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 절대환경론자 및 정태형 생활양식을 가진 사람들은 계절과 방문빈도에 민감했으며 조화론자 및 모험형의 사람들은 동기부여에 영향을 주는 요소들과 장애요소들에 민감하게 반응하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 국내의 잠재적인 생태관광 시장의 효과적인 홍보 및 마케팅 전략수립에 기초적인 자료로서 제공할 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 자료의 이용효율성 증대를 위해서는 생활양식적 차이와 다양성 요구에 의한 심리적 유형의 차이 및 개인의 환경관 등이 행동에 작용하는 범주와 영향의 구체적 원인에 대한 세부적인 연구가 향후 계속 되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

이 연구에서는 경찰의 조직적 특성 중 경찰관서의 규모에 따른 직무만족과 이직의도 수준을 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 경찰관서 규모에 따른 직무만족과 이직의도 수준의 차이를 살펴보기 위해 독립변수는 관서규모와 급지, 종속변수는 직무만족과 이직의도로 구성하여 일원변량 분산분석(One-way ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 그 결과 관서규모와 급지 둘 다 직무만족과 이직의도에서 통계적으로 유의한 수준의 차이가 발견되었다.

This paper made some statistical analyses on marine accidents in Korean waters using marine accident statistics. They were verified through analyses of one-way ANOVA: the difference in average number of marine accidents among Korean waters, between fishing and non-fishing vessels, and by year and by month The pairwise post hoc multiple comparisons of REGW-For GH test were additionally tested. As a result, there were significance differences among Korean waters. The difference of marine accidents by year was verified to have a statistical significance in the South and the East Sea for the fishing vessel, and in the South Sea for the non-fishing vessel. There were signifiant differences of monthly marine accidents by month in the Yellow and the East Sea for the fishing vessel only.
